The game was o.k. I can't help but feel I entered the game in the middle. There was not a lot of story to explain where we were and why. It filled out as you progressed but still never felt like a plot.
I could only get through half the demo. I was frustrated by the inability to see. The graphics while good in places were murky in others. Since there were no voiceovers, I think the developers overcompensated by the long drawn-out speech bubbles. Don't blink you'll miss something important and boring.
I have nothing bad to say about this game. The graphics were stunning the HOS and puzzles were good. Though it is sold as an SE, It even has a bonus chapter and it's good!
This is the best game I have played in a long time. I bought it after the first ten minutes of the demo. It is one of those games you want to keep playing and are sad when it eventually ends.
You've been asked to cover a highly anticipated competition in New York City when something goes terribly wrong. Can you escape the world of illusions?
This game began well. The graphics are superb. I played for twenty minutes and decided to purchase. I should have waited. It went downhill not long after that.
The puzzles were confusing at times. I think the information provided was inadequate or poorly translated. Also, I found there were too many sweet spots. You could try something and it not work because you were just a tad off.
Mostly I wish the story line was fleshed out a bit more. Why did he hate his mentor or our mother, etcetera. . .
This is the second time I've played this and I really liked it. I loved the layers. It was like having games within games. It was a very linear game which made it a bit too easy.
I replayed this and found that it was more enjoyable than I remembered. The game was paced well with the perfect mix of HOS and puzzles. The scenes were varied and interesting.
I enen liked the bonus round which did not seem like and afterthought!
My Fault! I purchased this on a BF sale without the demo. It is not the type of game I enjoy. While I am sure there are many who do based on the ratings: I am not amongst them.
