I thought I'd give My Logic a try. It looked like Sudoku, which is a game that I'm not very skilled at. But I'm always up for different games outside my comfort zone.. My review is based more as a novice player who needed clear and easy instructions on how to play. I gave it my best shot and just couldn't grasp it. Positives: you can choose from easy to hard skill levels. There are hints. Negatives: I didn't find the tutorial very helpful. And this isn't the game's fault, but if numbers games aren't your strength like me, it won't be fun.
I don't recommend this game.

Mystery Case Files is one of my favorite series, and I thought I'd go back and revisit some of the episodes I hadn't played in years. 13th Skull is an imaginative, creative, and professionally done game that today's developers would benefit from playing. This is how successful games should be made.
A disclaimer: 13th Skull is not a follow-up to the Dalimar legacy or Madame Fate. This is a stand alone story about mystical Lousiana and takes place in a southern mansion. It's damp, it's murky, and there's a pirate legend to be unraveled.
The graphics are amazing and done just like Dire Grove. There are actors filmed who interact with you, give you tasks and provide information you need to know. I wish MCF went back to this because it makes the game so much for fun and interesting.
The level of challenge varies throughout the game, from fairly easy to hard, but the fun factor is off the charts.
This game translates well in 2023, and if you are a regular gamer, you will see that games have been in decline for years since games like 13th Skull were made. This is the way games should be made. Professionally, with great imagination and creativity. Play the demo and you will want to buy. This is an awesome game and I highly recommend it.
I recommend this game!

I played this game in 2023. All I can say is "Wow!" This is a terrific game. It is done so well that eight years later, it shows the glaring errors of story games today.
Sea of Lies is a solid story on a vintage ocean liner. The story, the characters, and the visuals take you back to a time of luxury and intrigue. Think of Titanic, long cigarette holders, and piano bars. A mood is created and the player gets to go along.
The graphics are realistic and each scene a tremendous amount of detail was thoughtfully put into this game. The voiceovers are done well. Hidden object and mini-games are fun and range from easy to moderate. This game is a lot of fun and should be a standard for all games of this type.
I have been going back over games from years ago and they are so much better creatively, visually, and more professional than 2023's boring, repetitive games that have no imagination. I highly recommend this game to all players. You are in for a treat!
I recommend this game!

This edition of the Royal Romances series is for you if you enjoy medieval stories with dragons, potions, and magic. It is a pretty good game with a variety of puzzles and hidden object scenes. There is plenty to do here. The player must also collect potion bottles, dragon scales, and morphing objects in addition to earning achievements.
The graphics are colorful and pleasing to the eye. There is interaction with the characters and the player occasionally gets to choose a reply. However, the voiceovers sound like they are computer generated and a little flat.
I took a star off because of the lack of creativity or thinking outside the box. This is a "deja vu" kind of game. Most of the tasks should be familiar because they've been done before. This is just another story game with a different title...same tasks. It's for players of all skill levels as it's an easy game. I reluctantly recommend the game because some players may feel like me...I have a lot of other games just like this one.
I recommend this game!

Strange Investigations is just an average game. There is nothing unique or memorable about it. It's not a bad game, but it's all been done before. I knew it was a "been there-done that" kind of game within the first few minutes when I needed gloves and tape to repair a lamp standing in water.
The graphics are old-school. The level of challenge is easy in my opinion. It might be a good game for beginners or those starting out with hidden object games. The fun factor is minimal due to the drab scenes and low level of challenge.
There is nothing that makes this game stand out and grab you or make it stand out from the rest, so I believe it's only deserving of three stars. It's a ho-hum kind of game. Try the demo before buying to be sure it's for you. I don't recommend this game.

I'm a little late to the party as this game is almost 10 years old in 2023, but it's terrific! As someone who loves books, this is creative and thinks outside the box.
First, I have have to rave about the graphics. They are top of the line and look like a movie. The plot is easy to follow and the characters are charming. This is an unfinished fairy tale that the player gets to complete. A king is kidnapped and his kingdom is in peril from a devilish adversary. The voice overs are top notch compared to today's games where most voices are just read from a script.
There are many hidden object and mini-games and plenty of content. I usually play on an expert level and found that I could move through the game at a steady pace. I would describe difficulty as moderate, so there is some challenge and thought required.
This game is solid, well done, and it's a really fun game. I wish in 2023 developers would re-visit games like this and make games that have movie quality visuals and a plot that draws the player in that's easy to understand. I recommend for players of all skill levels. Choose the level of difficulty you need then sit back and enjoy the game. I loved it!
I recommend this game!

This is a low level puzzle game with no fun factor. Be prepared to do A LOT of reading as the main character tries to explain what your goals are in filling a "red book" with new animal species. There are no voiceovers. The creativity in this game is corny as the scientist who is looking for new animals is "Ninwrad" ( which is backwards for Darwin, as I thought about it.)
Each level has three puzzles. The hidden object and matching games have pictures that are so cluttered it's exhausting. The player also must find ten animals and ten flying butterflies in each hidden object scene. The butterflies move and if you miss them more than once, the game stops for five seconds. Ick. Not fun.
I played enough to fill one animal in my red book and that's enough for me. Very disappointed in this game. I wouldn't recommend it. It's not enjoyable. It's a chore.
I don't recommend this game.

I try to be fair with games I don't like and give them a chance, but I knew from the menu screen that this game was going to problematic. It was a jumbled index that is not user friendly and you need a map to follow. Other than describing it as a matching game, I'm not going to try to explain the rest. If you are curious, try the demo. If I could rate this in minus stars, I would. I'm sorry to be harsh in my critique, but this game shouldn't have been released. Avoid at all costs.
I don't recommend this game.

If you are a child of the 70s and 80s, here's a blast from the past. Bricks Crusher will remind you of your childhood when arcade games were primitive, but addictive! The format is similar to Space Invaders. Bricks slowly move down the screen and players need to bust them up before they reach the bottom.
The challenge level is moderate. Breaking the bricks gets harder the higher you move through the levels, so use those tools. It's also a matter of chance sometimes as to how you position your balls to bounce with accuracy to hit the most bricks, so it requires thought.
There are some extra games provided, including the old Pong game where you can play the computer. This was fun for me because I remember when I was a kid and getting the Pong console for Christmas. It was a big deal...lol.
I'd say this is not a fancy arcade game, but it's well done and yes, addictive. It will bring back memories if you grew up when arcade games were becoming computerized and popular. As always, try the demo before buying and make sure you will enjoy it. I believe it's worthy of four stars and I recommend it to everyone.
I recommend this game!

This game is a gardener's dream. There is a ton of game content here to keep you busy. The graphics are beautiful and there are many locations to choose from. The player can complete scenes with different goals to buy and plant flowers, take pictures to use as wallpapers, etc.
There are a variety of puzzles in addition to the hidden object scenes. I consider myself to be an expert level player and I found the challenge level from moderate to high difficulty. I would recommend using the tools provided, especially the magnifier, to find objects deeply hidden in the scenes.
The game is a good game and well done. However, it seems like this style of game is being released frequently and this is just another with plants and gardening being its theme. It doesn't stand out above the others and there's nothing unique here. But the quality of the game is good and I can't rate it too low because it's another like all the others. So I recommend the game to all. Play the demo first to be sure you like the game.
I recommend this game!
