Played some of the demo and purchased this good-looking, interesting game. Fun, colorful, not too serious and full of surprises. Just what a game should be.
Admit I only played the demo. Liked the story, puzzles and HOs. The imp was not of the cutie variety. But, the grainy, though well drawn, graphics put me off. I liked the game, but don't think I can get past the graphics. Do recommend for those who can.
This one is slower than princess games and not quite as fun. Can't queue tasks as in ISLAND TRIBE games, but can't do so in MKFTP series either. Seems that this later offering from the same devs should have had some improvements. Some may like this one, but can't see any reason to purchase.
Really too cute to be spooky. The blonde boy and the dark-haired girl are off to the old country to quaintly ask her father's blessing on their engagement/marriage. Of course, things rarely go as planned. Colorful artwork, interactive HOs and puzzles both simple and "puzzling" and collectibles make this game familiar while the Day of the Dead aspect keeps the story fresh. There are collectibles and award tasks, as well. The scenes are smallish and the cursor is slow and the HO scenes are not the best we have seen, but overall this is a good, not fantastic game. Though not worth the CE price, in my opinion, would make a fun SE purchase or coupon deal.
Played the demo of this pretty game, but will wait for the CE. The ghosts and garden don't interest me personally. Music is the same as previous games, HOs are attractive, but not interesting and puzzles are simple. Will purchase the SE only because the game is pretty and BF is not offering true quality games. Welcome back to a faithful reviewer.
A murderous figure in a red mask haunts the streets of a small French town, and the mayor needs your help to track him down. But you soon discover that the mysterious Red Masque might not be the real criminal…
Good-looking game--nothing new. Beautiful artwork, as expected from ERS. But, the story, game play, somewhat interactive silhouette HOs and puzzles are more of the same. Glad I waited for the SE as can't see that this simple, but attractive game could have been made better with CE features.
Beautiful artwork, as expected, from ERS. But the fantasy and cuteness are tooth decaying sweetness. Silhouette, interactive HOs and simple puzzles, though gorgeous to look at, offer no challenges. The precious, lovable animal helpers and the gnome-like guide are over the cutesy top. A game which will most likely appeal to young players. Seasoned players must take this one with a grain of fairy dust.
Return once more to the haunted grounds of Ravenhearst Manor to uncover new details about this poignant saga. What you find could very well be the final chapter of this riveting story-if you escape.
Bought this game back in 2009 and played on casual. Played again 5-2013 on Master Detective. This game and the other MCF Ravenhearst games arte the best.
