This is by far my all time favorite game! The music is so poignant at times, and you really feel for the ghosts in the story. Then at times, the music changes and the atmosphere is so ominous and chilling, you look around to see if Charles is nearby. This is an achingly sad story wherein you set out to free the souls of a mother and her daughters. I never get tired of playing this game. It's a must have for anyone who plays HO games, or who likes the MCF Detective games.

Mystery Case Files®: Dire Grove™ Collector's Edition
Use your Hidden Object skills to follow the trail of a group of missing graduate students in Mystery Case Files: Dire Grove!
As far as I'm concerned, Return to Ravenhearst, Dire Grove and Madame Fate are the best games out there. I've played these three games over and over again, and never get tired of the story lines and music, puzzles and HOS's. Plug for Return to Ravenhearst here: if you don't have it, get it. Dire Grove has so much to offer. The music and animation (cold, blowing, snow storm) set the atmosphere perfectly. The fourth time I played it, I really tried for the achievements. Get this one!

True Fear: Forsaken Souls
What if everything you knew about your life, everything your family ever told you, turned out to be a lie?
Absolutely loved this game! The animated cut scenes were very well done, and I could really see the emotions in the character's face. Very well drawn. The voice overs were very good, as well. Whoever did them really put some effort into conveying the fear and anxiety she was feeling. If the graphics are just a little murky, this only adds to the atmosphere of the game. Lots of scenes, good HOS's and a few puzzles that were maybe a little too easy, but the game kept me going and kept me interested. At the end, there's the promise of a sequel coming this year, and I'll be sure and get it to find out what happens.
What can I say? I love the Ravenhearst series, this latest in the Mystery Case Files knocks it out of the park! Great story, challenging puzzles, plenty of scenes, great interactive HOS's, etc. This is the longest game yet offered, and I can't recommend it enough. Worth every penny!

Shadows: Price for Our Sins
Halloween decorations aren’t the only things hanging around spooky Stone Farm when a group of students unwittingly open a portal to the underworld.
There isn't anything I don't like about this game. The puzzles and hos's are interesting, interactive, and very well done. The storyline keeps you interested and engaged. The interactive map lets you move around easily, and gives you an exclamation point to let you know that something must be done at that location. Absolutely loved this game!

Grim Tales: Bloody Mary Collector's Edition
Save your niece from the evil presence haunting her school!
Just finished the trial, and I plan on purchasing this game. I already have the other games that are on offer in the bundle, so I'll be waiting until the version comes out w/o the guide. I really liked the HO's since they were challenging without being muddy or tricky. The puzzles were pretty simple and don't require a guide. Beautiful scenes and subdued music which wasn't distracting or irritating. I think it's going to be a great game.

Blood Oath
With no memories of your past life and a never-ending hunger, it’s time to embrace a new life as a vampire in Blood Oath!
So different from other HOG's. I liked it from the get-go, and really liked the fact that I could play it over about three days. Plenty of game time, plenty of scenes, and a twist on the search for items that you use.

Tales of Sorrow: Strawsbrough Town
An old woman tricks Melissa into wearing a cursed ring that makes her go into an everlasting sleep. Use magical potions and spells to save her from the curse!
Not my very favorite visuals, but I thought they were just fine. I liked "speaking" to the different characters for information, and the HOS's. The puzzles didn't present any challenges, and would be good for anyone just starting out with these games. Pretty simple, over all. But I'm okay with buying it.

Chronicles of Vida: The Story of the Missing Princess
Join the beautiful demon-huntress, Vida, on her investigation into a series of mysterious kidnappings!
It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a game as much as I enjoyed this one. Wow! Some players may not have appreciated the voice-overs, or the slightly slow loading between scenes, or the cut scenes. I LOVED everything about this game. I found myself enchanted by the heavy accents of the voice-overs, because they fit beautifully with the story. I was really challenged in the game, and had to use the skip button a couple of times on the puzzles. I also had to use the hint button a few times in the HOS's. Not to worry, the hint button recharged quickly. I loved the beautifully painted scenes, the labrynth, and especially the little wereferret that accompanied me and all of his opinions! An absolutely fabulous game for me.
