Like I would expect from all EG games, this game is also exceptional. Wonderful graphics, nice but sad storyline, it's another top notch game from Elephant. I love that EG always gives us companion during the game which stays even until the extra gameplay. In this game it's Terrance, a super cute phoenix. The SG is useful, esp. the map. The game took me about 5 hours, including the extra game, and I think it's quite reasonable. The usual extras are not very appealing to me, but still it's a must buy for me, as all EG would.

I love the SE so I also bought the CE. There's a lot of improvements in this game, from the voice overs, less HOG and more adventure. However, the hint is still not available during gameplay, except the HOG scenes. And the skip button is super slow although I played it in casual. The bonus chapter is fine, but I think it should be given more time to reveal everything. I played the bonus chapter for about 40 minutes. The rose collection is great, they didnt tell what it's for until the very end but it's fine. The SG helps a lot in finding the roses or I have to go through the scenes again one by one. Anyway, a great game. Cant wait to play Gold Bug.

Had the SE and I want more, so I bought the CE. As my SE review, it is one of my favorite games from ERS games. It is creepy, dark and has a good storyline. The ending really creeps me out, and there are so many things to see and explore in this game, good game length and good amount of puzzles and mini games. The only flaw I see is the hint and skip buttons so slowly recharge. Also there is no hint during gameplay. So SG is very useful here. Recommended this to buy :)

I bought this game because I have the other three of the series and I like all of them. Imagine my surprise when I bought this game during the sale (so I can't really complain, but I can't help it), that this is the worst HOG game ever made. I can't believe that there are 4 HOG scenes in one area.. Can you imagine that.. all corners of the room are sparkled and you are to find just one item from a pile of junks. The game itself is short and I think it's cheating us that the HOG scenes are there to prolong the gameplay. definitely not happy. Furthermore there is no hint button during the regular game, and it's only in the HOG scene. The button itself recharges very slowly. I am almost at the end of the game, only being given HOG scenes after scenes. Getting tired and weary over a short period of time. I am even dreading the bonus chapter and not looking forward to it. Will not replay this game for a long time. I am glad, though, that the games after this one is getting better and better. Can't wait to finish this game. Ugh!

Alawar games are excellent, including this one. With one of a kind storyline, very engaging and full of action, with smart puzzles, super helpful maps and good voice overs. You can't help but wonder how can they create such awesome games. I love all Alawar games including this one and I am so glad I bought the CE because there's part on the bonus chapter about the main characters. I play the main game for about 5 hours, and the bonus game for 1 hour. A long gameplay and very exciting.

Another wonderful game from Blue Tea Games. It has the usual , their signature FROG scenes. Quite few mini games puzzles. The story is unique and there are some actions. The voice overs are excellent. Love the songbirds, they look so cute. The bonus chapter is pretty long, there're 4 acts and 1 prologue, but the SG only shows 3 Acts. Overall I throughly enjoy this game. It was a good 5 hours gameplay..

First of all.. am I deaf or is this game has no sound and music at all? I thought it is my computer's fault, but I play other games with no problem. That is why I can only give 4 stars as I think it must be better to play with sounds. I have put the sound control until max and still nothing. It's like playing a silent game :( anyway other than that, this game is flawless. It's like a combination of both urban legends and fairy tales. I love the concept and the storyline flows nicely. The ending was a surprise, and it was great. I might play this game again and check whether the sound plays.

I bought this game simply because it's from Alawar. I don't try the demo as I know it will be good. In fact, this game sold as an SE surprises me. This game has a good quality factor like a CE should have, only it doesn't have a map but it doesnt matter because the hint button is helpful. It shows you where to go, not tells you WHAT to do. I am not an English native speaker and I never remember what room is in what place. There is little backtracking and it's quite easy to navigate that you know what you should do if you find an inventory item. Still, I don't see why this game receives bad rating for some people. The fact that Alawar releases this game itself as an SE but it has a quality like a CE is already good. I wish Alawar could produce more games like this.

I bought this game without trying the demo because it's Alawar. I know their games for their good quality stories, excellent graphics so I bought this with good faith. It does, fortunately. The game flows nicely, the hint and skip buttons are very quick to refill, there are even 3 gameplay modes. Hint is not much needed because it's quite easy. The graphic is nice and crisp, like all Alawar games do. Nice voice overs too although not in the entire game. If you like puppet show and some good old villain, this game is a must try.

I bought this game because the good reviews and bought it together with the first Dark Side. I thought in terms of graphic, I think this one is better, but for cut scenes, the movement is stiff and the characters are basically mumbling things. I am glad that there's Gladriel, which is a plus for this game. I love having a small, cute helper. Not sure what happens to her after the game. The map is very useful as loading between scenes take a few seconds. The story is fine, a bit out of the original story but it was fun nonetheless. It's a must try if you like this kind of story.
