This game delivers suspense and thrill, and at the end of demo I feel like wanting more. The charaters are suspicious, you dont know who are the culprit. The werewolves look scary. The HOG scenes are pretty easy and so do the puzzles.
Although the game still carries many of ERS trademark graphic, the game is packed with excitement that you dont really bother with the graphic and voice overs. Since it's sale week I might use it to buy this game :)

OK, this game is better than their very first but it is still having the unskippable dialogue, credits and doors locked everywhere. Only very few places can be accessed and the rests are just dummy doors. The ghosts are not scary at the very least, they are bit stiff and the dialogues between Delaware, Kelly and Simon are just too much. Not to mention they cannot be skipped so you have to listen to it everytime if you click it in the same place. For just 30 minutes I encountered 20 locked doors. Inventory items almost non-existent and it's annoying to find out where they can be used. In conclusion: improvement than the first game but still lacking in charm.

Was pretty excited to play this game as the opening scene looks kind of scary but as the game progressed it was rather slow.
The plot is also not so brand new: your family is kidnapped and its up to you to save them. As a painter you paint along the way and the villain is one of the objects of your paintings. I have to admit the villain looks scary, kind of what you imagined coming from a certain Japanese urban legend story. You got a helper named Smudge, which is kind of like an Egyptian god? (sorry, not sure what it is). There are lots of conversation and cut scenes in this game.
I found the HOG scenes very easy and slow, we used just more than 1 chapter alone to finally be able to chase the villain, lots of strange places that I dont see the relevance, except to make the game longer. What I like is the concept of painting and that the game graphic is nice looking albeit looking like a sketch.
This game overall is pretty interesting although it's a bit slow moving. i might just wait till the SE comes out before purchasing this game.

Another game from Witches Legacy series.. even if you dont know the background story, there is the story on the main page so you won't have trouble understanding the story even if you dont play the previous games.
The game has lots of action and adventures from the very beginning. The HO scenes are various and puzzles are moderate (not too many, not too difficult)
Although it is about witches and dark magic, it's still unique. I find this game entertaining.
I was excited when the title said Tibetan Quest as I like game sets in oriental east, but we are thrown into the game with questionable background story. I think the game is set in the 18th or 19th century, I am not sure, since the person that we ought to save is taking an ancient ship on a quest, which I think you wont use if we re talking about the 20th century, but the stuff pictured in the HO scenes sometimes dont match the time frame.
The HO scenes are fairly easy, just find objects on the list, occassionaly there is morphing objects but they are easy to spot. Characters are unimpressive. We are basically on our own.
So unfortunate that a game sets in Tibet, a land of mystical and legend use to be some sort of strange plot. The setting is so underused. Hopefully it will be better next time.
Oh, and for a CE, there is no custom play mode and tutorial kept showing up although I have deactivated it.

..the pirate skull starts talking..
OK, the game is sets in the 16th century England and I was getting excited but then there's pirate skull and talking fiery ghost, I began to feel "it doesn't fit". Why ruin a perfect setting with compeltely unrelated characters? There's also a Tiki (or Maya) statue.. I find this too much.
The game demo is generous, I played for 50 minutes. There are tons of puzzles and mini games in this game, if you are a puzzle lover then I guess this game is for you! For me I am not much of it so I get frustrated :(
There's map but you have to access from the journal, so it's better to use hints. The extras are quite a lot, I like the game developers turned into drawings, probably my favorite extra in this game. Again, I am unconvinced since there're unrelated characters here that I think are not supposed to be there :(

Before I played this game I thought this may be another game of saving kingdom from a villain, and yes, that is true. Not another kingdom and bad man again!! I love the nice graphics but this game is way too easy. Many of the puzzles have been seen before, and basically I dont use any SG to guide me through, every inventory item will be used immediately. I used hint and map just to show me where to go next.
Funny thing that I enjoy more of finding the collectibles than finishing this game. I just spent 30 minutes on demo, and when I checked the guide, that's just chapter 1. This game might be pretty long but if you are an expert gamer you might finish this game in no time.
If you like kingdoms, bad guy and magic, this game might be for you. For me, I will pass.

I like point and click game like Nancy Drew or Syberia so I thought I gave this game a try. Was doubtful at first seeing the negative reviews but I thought I should try first before commenting.
First of all it was pretty creepy until the ghosts start coming out. They are not the creepy type but rather a flashback of what's happening at the manor. I had no idea what to do given no task list or journal, so I moved around in circles trying to figure out what to do next. The manor is creepy when we first got into the game but then it was ruined since we got to get the electricity running in very early in the game.
I think I encountered 20 doors that are locked, and only three or four that can be really accessed. It was annoying when we got the "eye" symbol meaning there's something to see (I thought) but turns out there's nothing, nothing to pick, nothing to zoom in. Conversations between characters (Delaware and Kelly) is not that bad but hate it that Kelly sounds like she is reading from a book.
I only tried the demo and I wasted it because I was going around with no clear direction. I only found out what to do after checking the walkthrough. So hoping their next game is better and oh, I don't like seeing unskippable credits at the beginning of the game!

This is one of ERS series that I like and this one is one of the creepiest. I was not expecting much from the unimpressive opening scene, like what's going on? We are suddenly thrown to investigate murder kidnapping.
Like most all detective games, this one, too we have to hunt and unmask the murderer. I found the murders to be too graphic. I hope ERS can tone it down. I suppose there are still youngsters playing this kind of games.
HOPAs are easy, very easy actually that it can be done less than 1 minute in average. The map is not very useful, and hint wont take you directly to far places so you have to go back down or go forward a few times until you reach the scene with actions to do.
In average this is very easy game but I dislike that its too graphic. Next time just make it less creepy, will you ERS??
