I just finished the demo. The technical aspects of the game, the game play, and the puzzle factor are fine, but there are other issues.
The lip movement when a character is speaking goes on and on, way past the end of the sentence, even for most languages. Load times are occasionally slow.
The deal killer for me is that the vile hatred and anger is overpowering. Everybody hates everybody to the nth degree. It's almost as if the devs were angry when they built this game. I understand clan/gang rivalry, but this is over the top for an enjoyable game.
The phraseology is the same as in all the games this year; about the only word I didn't run into is "somehow".
I'm getting the impression that there is only one person writing the scripts for all the games, one who has locked in on only a few key phrases with only one way of expressing the need for further action or a tool, which is becoming quite boring.
Apart from that, I cannot advise you to skip this one - the game play is good. And... I'm sure it has a happy ending; I just don't want to stick around long.enough to find out.
Against my better judgment, I started the demo this morning instead of waiting 'til after dinner. Bad move, 'cause this game totally sucked me in, leaving biz and chores hanging out to dry.
It's full of juicy mini-puzzles, cool HO's, morphies, collectibles, and cliff-hanging OMG's.
Absolutely get this game. IMO, it's the most captivating game to come down the line since Endless Fables: Shadow Within.

I really enjoyed this game, played it all the way through in one sitting, which is rare for me.
Then, I went into Extras so I could replay scenes to find the morphs I missed and the collectibles that slipped past my eagle eye :D Alas, if you didn't catch everything during play, you're out of luck. What a disappointment.
The devs have trained us to expect those fun replays, and though I do my best to find everything during the game, I look forward to that extra bit of hunting.
I recommend this game - just be sure to spend the extra time to find everything in the scenes and double check if you can't remember whether you did or not.
I wish my grandchildren weren't all grown up: this is a great game to teach strategy and logic, all the while enjoying an excellent Princess story.
It has no forced tutorial (A+++), the colors are pastels yet vibrant, the scenery is pretty, and the whole works together to keep any little kid involved with looking ahead to figure out the right moves to fulfill the gathering tasks.
I recommend this game to Beginners, and for parents and grandparents who are vested in putting their kids' minds to work in a play atmosphere.
I'm having a hard time coming up with exclamations that are good enough for my reaction to this game.
The acting is great. I mean, really great. And the lip sync is good enough that you can actually watch the characters speak instead of looking away 'cause the lips just move around.
Music is great, story line is compelling, it has morphs, it has a goodie to find in each scene, the HO's are beautiful and well thought-out, the puzzles are fun ... I mean, there's nothing bad to say about this amazingly crafted game.
I'm writing this while the purchased game is downloading, after about 5 minutes into the demo.
I was sold at the cover art. It doesn't matter what your fav genre is, this game is a must buy.
I've been with BFG for about 10 years, so it was easy for me to recognize an off-the-beaten-path, totally original, well-designed FANTASTIC brain teaser/HO game.
This one is right up there with Leaves The Journey.
The graphics are perfect, the game play is sooo good, the problem-solving is a blast, and it's built in a family-oriented game play atmosphere. Great logic learning experience for the younger set, with parent-assisted problem solving.
You'll find plenty of fun factors in the scenes: morphing objects and collectibles, plus fun clicks on action spots. I like that. Most of the puzzles are also fun, even if they aren't hugely challenging. I don't have a lot of time to spend on games, so I like that part, too.
I've a soft spot for Border Collies, so the Collie companion appeals to me.
Other than that, this one has issues that I've never encountered with 4 Friends Games.
I'm not crazy about the zooming on possible actions and other hand-holding stuff; it takes away from the fun factor. I mean, if I don't have to figure out what goes where, what's the point?
The demo upset me a bit - very, very short. I was shocked when I was cut off after only about 20 minutes. We all know that the promised 90 minutes of demo is hogwash, but I have 43 minutes of game play left. What's up with that?
Altogether, I wouldn't recommend this game to Experts. Maybe Intermediates will have a good time, and Beginners will love it.

You will be so pleasantly surprised! :D
Unexpected game play has been created all over the place, especially in the HO scenes.
This game is very absorbing, requiring some real focus because the devs have gone to the trouble of expanding their creative imagination beyond all the usual (and at this point - boring) ploys. This is an example of the kind of joy you will experience:
"What the heck happened to the ... Oh. Oh my gosh. *There* it is! How cool is that?" Like that.
I strongly recommend this game!
Be on the lookout for the next Ghost Files. I just beta'd it and it's totally cool. Can't wait for it to launch.

Visuals are great, the HO's are excellent, beyond that, well ... the inset scenes close every time you place a possible tool back in the tray. Hugely annoying.
Dear developers, for the love of all that's holy, LOSE THE WORD "SOMEHOW". It's a totally unnecessary word.
The story line was boring, but that may only be because I play so many of these games. Nothing new here. Find the cheese, find the crystal, I will destroy you all.
At least the item call outs for the HO's are correct. Oh, except for the one of the tubes - it's actually a hose.
Yeah, I recommend this game for newbies, but not for those of us who have been playing Adventure HO's for years.

Ah look, I've been picking up the Clutters since they first launched, and I've always had fun with them.
This one - not so much. The time limit for some of the scenes is just plain awful. Unless, off course, you have Penelope Garcia's computer that spits out search replies before she finishes typing the first keyword. (Where can I find one of those? Mama wants one.)
Not at all happy. I just went through one scene in which I gathered items before the last item found hit the tray, and I STILL couldn't beat the time allowed for the number of items to find.
That takes all the fun out of the game, despite the option to continue after the bell has rung and the scene shuts down. Definitely not a mood booster.
