REVIEW ON FIRST 4 CHAPTERS OF THE ACTUAL GAME - 6 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER
You are a detective to the rescue, called in by Count De Lupe to protect his son Pierre from a family curse. I LOVE THIS BEASTLY DELIGHT! It is fairly graphic and a little gruesome but not scary! The story, the graphics, the pace, the voice-overs, the puzzles and HOP scenes are all EXCELLENT! The story is a retelling of the curse of the werewolf. I purchased this game immediately.
AFTER THE DEMO: The story becomes more intriguing involving another character not in the demo. Everything is not as it seems and there is deceit and intrigue. The games GETS BETTER. The puzzles are "beastly" good in this game. There is a chess puzzle which is devilish!
HOP SCENES: Puzzle-like with some multi-step scenes. The scenes are varied with variations of silhouettes, storybook sequences, lists of items to locate, sentences with items written in BOLD LETTERS. They are much better than I have seen from this dev.
PUZZLES: The BEST part of the game to me. There are more puzzles than HOP scenes. So well-crafted and vary in difficulty. They include variations of moving tile puzzles, dexterity puzzles which require skill with hand movements, rotating rings puzzles, sliding tiles puzzles, switch puzzles, Simon Says puzzles, a maze, chess puzzle. After killing each werewolf you must use a magnifying glass to obtain 5 clues about the werewolf.
LEVELS: Casual, Advanced, Hard, Custom
Hints 5 to 200 seconds Skips 5 to 200 seconds
INVENTORY: Interactive with many puzzle-like activities
GRAPHICS : Beautifully created. Just gorgeous graphics including the guys Good looks run in that family!
EXTRAS:
• Map is provided as you play the game
• TATTOO on your arm which allows you to remove the carcasses of the werewolves and send them to the Great Beyond
• 11 Achievements
• Collect articles about fictitious creatures from around the world - Sasquatch, Wendigo, Loch Ness Monster, Mongolian Death Worm, Beast of Dean, Dingonek, Beast of Gévaudan, The Tatzelwurm, the Kraken. AWESOME I had never heard of some of these myths
• Usual Music, Wallpaper - Games - Art
• Strategy guide - HAS 47 PAGES
HERE ARE THE DETAILS (SPOILERS) FOR THOSE WANT SPECIFIC INFO ON THE HIOP SCENES AND PUZZLES:
HOP SCENES:
A. Silhouette items from a story book (2 Mini HOP scenes) Same book used twice
B. List of items to locate from a cabinet
C. Silhouette items in a cabinet. Combine items before they can be released from the list
D. EXCELLENT MULTI STEP HOP SCENE. Find inventory items listed in a sentence in BOLD letters, followed by a scene requiring you to put items back into the scene followed again by finding inventory items in BOLD letters
AFTER THE DEMO:
E. Mini- HOP scene - Locate a certain amount of one item.
F. Mini- HOP scene Another scene where you locate a certain amount of one item.
G. List of items which require interactivity
PUZZLES:
A. Variation of a Moving tile puzzle to open a satchel EASY
B. Dexterity puzzle - trace a symbol without touching the sides followed by using a magnifying glass to observe clues (to me, more of a mini-HOP scene) EASY BUT MORE SKILL ORIENTED
D. Variation of a rotating rings puzzle/physics puzzle involving ratio proportion with marbles - move marbles to the bottom of a grid MODERATE DIFFICULT TO DIFFICULT
E. Variation of sliding tiles puzzle - aligning pins so that bars can be drug into a lock MODERATE DIFFICULT
F. Variation of a switch puzzle - move statues to correct locations according to pictures MODERATE DIFFICULT
G. Variation of Simon Says using gems around a picture frame EASY
H. Dexterity puzzle - trace 3 symbols without touching sides - followed by using a magnifying glass to observe clues (a mini HOP scenes) EASY
After you kill each werewolf you must locate 5 clues about the werewolf by using a magnifying glass
AFTER THE DEMO:
H. Variation of spot the difference. Remove flowers using stencils. MODERATE DIFFICULTY
I. Chess puzzle - remove knights from the board by having werewolves jump over them - knights with shields must be jumped over twice - FIENDISHLY DIFFICULT - AWESOME
J. Maze puzzle. You must find your way out of a maze. AWESOME
K. Variation of a sliding tile puzzle - create a mosaic
Always remember: "Even a man who is pure at heart, and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright." Ala Hammer Films LOL
I recommend this game!

Out of nightmare and into your life comes a monster from a dark painting and this game! You must save your family from the clutches of a monster who just wants you to apply just enough paint to make her look beautiful. Flying in today for Saturday's popcorn cruncher, is the "return of the jackal" Yes - he is returning as your helper with a little more pizzazz. This time he flies and talks throughout the entire game. This game is an artist's delight dealing with drawing and painting. You will need to "brush" up on your art skills with all the painting and sketching in this game. The pace of the game seems to drag with both the addition of the helper and painting sequences. The HOP scenes were repetitious and boring.. I got tired of painting items to continue in the game. No Muse could inspire me to continue on in this game.
HOP SCENES: Boring! Somewhat interactive and puzzle-like. The HOP scenes are predominantly lists of items to locate; however, there is one silhouette sequence and one FROG with jigsaw pieces of a painting. Do they get better? I am not interested in finding out - EVER!
PUZZLES: The puzzles are the best part of the game varying from easy to moderately difficult . There are variations of spot the difference puzzles , several switch puzzles, moving tile puzzles, and way too many attempts for you to display your artistic genius by painting and sketching. You also get to play "Save the Princess" which is a fairly decent puzzle.
LEVELS: Casual, Normal, Expert, Custom
INVENTORY: Somewhat interactive. Fairly old-school. No WOW factor here.
GRAPHICS : One-dimensional and cartoon-like
EXTRAS:
• Map - Map is given to you at the start of the game
• 13 Achievements
• Collect 30 slides
• Strategy guide - 7 Chapters plus a Bonus chapter with a secret game
• Paint brushes - You paint throughout the game - So time consuming and to me - slowed down the game
• A flying jackal for a helper. He talks to you through the entire game. His voice, to me, is annoying.
3 STAR RECOMMENDATION: I recommend this game for those who like very casual games, painting and drawing, helpers in games, games with basic HOP scenes. This game has some decent puzzles but personally , it is not worth the effort to plod through all the painting, cutesy helper activities, and boring HOP scenes. It was torture for me to just complete the demo.
I recommend this game!

REVIEW BASED ON THE FIRST 4 CHAPTERS OF THE ACTUAL GAME OF 6 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS GAME
What has that eccentric tree hugger Aunt Mae "dug up" now? - Why are people disappearing - or are they? The end is near! The "ghouls" are asking you to "BOO"-GIE ON DOWN to a 1970's Apocalypse Now Garden Party! The story is dark but not terribly scary. The graphics are dark and ominous.
HOP SCENES: Multi-step and puzzle-like with a new variation - using morphing objects to unlock a list of silhouette items. There are also lists, silhouettes, FROGS, story sequence, and mini-HOP scenes. You have the option to play a Match 3 game instead. (II loved the creepy dolls in the Match 3 game).
PUZZLES: The stand alone puzzles ARE FEW IN THE DEMO BUT THERE ARE MORE AND BETTER ONES IN THE ACTUAL GAME! They include Simon Says, jigsaw puzzles, sliding puzzles, assembly puzzles, moving tiles puzzles, moving target puzzle, assembly - create a key puzzle. My favorite was following a schematic and creating a cog for a machine.
LEVELS: Easy, Medium, Hard, Custom
Hints 10 to 120 seconds Skips 10 to 400 seconds
Optional penalties for random clicking and for sparkles on active areas

YEAH! It is Christmas in July this week for me! Two of these games this week! This game has the "Hallmark" of excellence for this type of game. Such a nice Christmas story. It is through the looking glass for our little "penguino" (what I call him) and his family. Help them return home.
• To game modes - Casual and Advanced
• Auto-fill for the unused spaces
• Colored screens - 3 for most games
• Items are given to help you throughout the game - such as a pickax
• You are accountable for mistakes and must start over if you have too many
• If like normal games for this dev grids from 10 X 10 to 25 X 25
• If like past games - approximately 100 puzzles
• Nice relaxing "muzac." Got me in the mood to do some yoga and get into a meditative state! LOL
This is the "champagne" dev for these games and I have been looking forward to this dev's game for such a long time. THANK YOU BFG!!! This game is an automatic purchase for me WOW! Two "griddler," "nonogram," "Ekaki," "Paint-by-Number," or if your prefer "PIc-a-Pix" games this week! SO NICE!
I recommend this game!

A BIG THANK YOU to BFG for providing this game. I LOVE these games. It has been SO LONG since one has appeared on this game site! Yeah!! This is a form of Sudoku in which you must calculate which squares are filled in and which are not.
• Grids - 10 x 10 to 25 x 25 (if like previous games by this dev)
• No auto-fill, no multi-colors screens You must fill in your own X's for squares not used
• Collect coins in which to purchase hints
• Multiple "cases" of varying levels to play. Actually to me, there is no "story."
• You must play a complete series or you will lose your progress.
They are basically grids (if like the previous games) which vary from 10x10 to 25 x 25. They are called "griddlers" by this dev, but they are also called "nonograms," E'Kaki" (Japanese) Paint-by-Numbers (by "Games" magazine), and "Pic-a-Pix" (by Conceptis Puzzles). At least for me, they, at help me focus and concentrate my thoughts while working on a project. I play these all the time.
I like this game but I tend to like the another dev who also provides these game a little better. It is lacking some of the WOW factor of auto-fill and multiple colors. Actually, I did not discover any "story" for any of the "cases." I also dislike losing your progress by not completing a set of games in a series. You must start all over again - which is annoying.
I recommend this game!

A LONG GAME - 8 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER
Through the looking glass - we have hubby to the rescue in another DEVILISH game in a NEVER ENDING saga of EVIL witch Morgana causing trouble for ANGELIC witch, Lynn. Is Morgana really dead? If she is then this series should follow her to the OTHER WORLD as well! The DEMONIC IMP is back, used more than in previous games, slowing down the pace of the game. Same old characters - same rehashed story - same plot. I would have given this game the full 5 stars except for the imp which slowed down the game!
SAVING GRACE: HERE IS THE AMAZING GRACE WHICH HAS SAVED THIS POOR WRETCHED GAME: (And the only reason I purchased it!) - the HEAVENLY puzzles and HOP scenes. I LOVE THE PUZZLES AND HOP SCENES which are creative and innovative. There are many activities in this game. . You also make an assortment of potions in this game - looking for ingredients and combing them.
PUZZLES: The puzzles we nicely done. They include some multiple step "super puzzles" as well. They include variations of jigsaw puzzles, matching, moving tile puzzles, pipe puzzle (getting rid of lines in a battle with an enemy), and after the demo - a moving tile puzzle.
HOP SCENES: There is a wide variety of them. There are multiple activities for each HOP scene and some mini-HOP scenes which are mainly FROGS - looking for pieces to complete an inventory object. You can play a Matching game instead. They include silhouette, mini HOP scenes which are a variation of a FROG, and lists of item to locate, storybook interactive - moving pieces to correct locations.
LEVELS: Casual, Normal, Hard, Custom
Hints 10 to 35 seconds Skips 10 to 50 seconds Penalties for clicking errors in HOP scenes
INVENTORY: Interactive and puzzle-like
GRAPHICS : Cartoonish - bright colors throughout. Nice voice overs.
EXTRAS:
Map - is given to you at the start of the game

Helper - used 14 times - A DEMONIC IMP who sits staring at you with horns and white eyes and grunts and groans throughout the game. Just plain creepy to me If you click on him, he does all kinds of absurd things - so gimmicky! Waves at you - serenades you - takes FOREVER to perform actions.
Usual wallpaper, artwork, soundtrack
CHAPTER 4 - The HOP scenes and puzzles are similar to the demo. Many mini-HOP scenes with FROGs. The game continues pretty much as it was in the demo. The only new element is the addition of a former character to the game and a moving tile puzzle.
FOR THOSE WHO WANT MORE INFORMATION (SPOILERS) ON THE GAME:

I tried this game and am not impressed. Sorry! I play a similar game on my Android which I LOVE! So many more activities with that game.
First, the game is rather confusing to me. I felt that some of the instructions were difficult to understand. My friends and I tried out this game together. None of us could understand the complete operation of this game.
In comparison to my "other" candy game - this one lacks the graphics and colors of that game. The graphics are definitely lacking in this game. They seem one-dimensional
The girl is annoying. She should definitely go! I would suggest bringing in some other character to replace her. The vocabulary is dated. My friends and I got a chuckle out of expressions such as "Far out" and "Right on" in the game.
I will not play this game ever. Sorry - but it did not catch my interest. I cannot put a finger on it - but it just lacks! Exactly what is lacks is hard to put into words. Probably the best way to describe this would be it just does not have the "WOW" factor of the similar game I play on my Android.
You should re-evaluate this game. I would use better graphics, colors, items (I think the gummies are not as attractive as the items in my other game) and characters. The game is just too one-dimensional. The voice of the girl as well drove one of my friends "up-the-wall." He described it as "annoying."
Hope that helps! I LOVE BFG games generally but so far have not found a F2P game which I enjoy.
Best of luck with this one.
I don't recommend this game.

REVIEW BASED ON THE FIRST 3 CHAPTERS OF THE ACTUAL GAME - 6 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER
Jealousy and revenge abound in Elizabethan England! You play a tutor to the queen's ward - Edward. When he disappears - you are off to locate him with a childhood friend - Elizabethan bad boy, Francis Drake. To me, this is a helper game which I LOVE with an equal amount of HOP scenes and puzzles. Surprised? So am I. The reason - it is a well crafted game WITH SO MUCH TO DO. It keeps you engaged with a myriad of puzzles and HOP scenes which are varied. It is so creative! I even like the "helper" in this game - Francis Drake - who brings comical relief in a game which would be otherwise a little stiff and stuffy. My kind of guy - SO FUNNY and helpful as well!
A very long game - 53 pages in the Strategy Guide
PUZZLES: A puzzler's delight and a great deal of variety. The entire game is puzzle-like including the inventory. Most are easy or of medium difficulty. They include searching for a code to open a codex, several matching puzzles, finding differences between two pictures, painting so colors do not touch each other, (after the demo) weight and balances puzzle, removal of sticks in order, variation of a moving tile puzzle, a variation of Simon Says puzzle
HOP SCENES: Varied and puzzle-like. Quite a few in this game. They include lists, silhouettes, a variety of FROGS, storybook sentences, matching items to create an item to place in the HOP scene, replacement of items back into the scenes (after the demo) another interactive silhouette
LEVELS: Casual, Advanced, hard, Custom
Hints 15 to 300 seconds Skips 15 to 300 seconds
INVENTORY: Very puzzle-like and well-done It contains several mini-puzzles which we don't usually see in games. One of the best parts of the game.
GRAPHICS : Cartoon-like with brilliant colors - rather old-school in appearance.
EXTRAS:
Map - Map is provided as you play the game

Helper - "Francis Drake" (I guess before he was knighted LOL). He was your childhood companion. You need to supply him with inventory items for him to perform a task. I USUALLY HATE HELPERS BUT THIS RAPSCALLION IS RATHER COOL AND FUNNY! A real Elizabethan "bad boy!'

FOUR CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER - BASED ON A VERY SHORT DEMO
Happy 18th Birthday Prince Tristan! With your parents kidnapped and missing, you must fight a usurper, Vincent to reclaim your throne - all with the help of a ruby ring. To me this game is not CE worthy. It has the appearance of an animated fairy tale book. The pace of the game is very slow. The graphics are cartoon-like. There are more puzzles than HOP scenes. The HOP scenes are varied including silhouettes, mini HOP scenes, lists and story book sentences with items to locate in bold. The puzzles are easy and include matching, variations of maze puzzles , Simon Says sequence puzzles, and a ring puzzle. There are no mouth movements for the characters. The collectibles are crowns which practically jump out at you. I felt this game lacked creativity and some of the extras and pizzazz we expect in CE games.
This game is fairy tale book come to life. I feel this would be an excellent game for children. The game is very sweet with adorable animals including a jackalope! LOL This game may get better as it progresses. It is hard to rate a game after playing only one chapter. This game does not interest me and I will not purchase but perhaps you will enjoy it. Vincent reminded me of the character of Loki from the movie "Thor."
LEVELS: Citizen, Royalty, Legend, Custom Hints 10 to 95 seconds Skips 10 to 95 seconds
GRAPHICS : Cartoon-like with purples and pink hues. No mouth movements. I found the graphics at times a little blurry

HERE ARE THE DETAILS (SPOILERS) FOR THOSE WANT MORE INFO ON THE HOP SCENES AND PUZZLES
HOP SCENES: They are varied but not many in the demo:
A. Silhouette of a specific amount of an item B. Mini HOP scene to create an inventory item C. Item list with some interactivity D. Story - Sentences containing items listed in bold golden letters

A. Matching of two symbols B. Press symbols on a book to create a potion C. Variation of a maze puzzle using symbols to find a path D. Variation of Simon Says with musical notes playing a tune E. 5 CHAPTERS PLUS A BONUS CHAPTER - REVIEW BASED ON THE FIRST HALF OF THE GAME
"Revenge" comes to gaming! A masked avenger is seeking some much needed justice in this rather DARK - adult "whodunit." The graphics are realistic with sharp imaging. There is a variety of HOP puzzles - lists, replacing items back into the scenes, silhouette. Some puzzles have a choice between hard and easy modes - sliding tiles, switch puzzle, memory puzzle, marble puzzles (variation of sliding puzzle), Simon Says, timed puzzle and choosing the correct response to questions. All excellent! There are more puzzles than HOP scenes. The inventory is interactive Collect memory fragments to use with a Memory Device which unlocks a video about the story. You also purchase items you need for the game at a local vendor for inventory items. I found the game is well paced and fun to play.
WOW! What an awesome game and a real turnaround (really) for the GamERS. I LOVE THIS GAME! I am speechless because it is like this dev reinvented themselves. BE WARNED - THIS IS A DARK ADULT GAME. Good! I LOVE THE CAT. "Mr. Meanie" is at least nice enough to give you some of his 9 lives. You still have a few animals from the GamERS' menagerie, but they are not used as helpers. There is also some nice eye candy in this game - Jim!
CHAPTER 3: HOP scenes COMPLETELY CHANGE TO JUST LISTS OF ITEMS! I found four HOP scenes with lists - not that interactive. No variations in the HOP scenes. I found five puzzles - a book puzzle, using a telescope, a matching, transfer rings puzzle and a "shooting" sequence. I got a "charge" out of the awesome Tesla plasma spheres - obviously designed to further "generate" some interest in this game! LOL
LEVELS: Casual, Advanced, Hard, Custom HOP - Hints and Skips - 5 to 200 seconds There is an penalty option for random clicking for HOP scenes if you wish
GRAPHICS : Realistic, sharp imaging and nicely done. Very beautiful
EXTRAS:
Map is provided at the beginning of the game
Memory Device - look for blobs then receive a memory stone to get a story video SO COOL - THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX DEV!

NO MORPHING OBJECTS
HERE ARE THE DETAILS (SPOILERS) FOR THOSE WANT MORE INFO ON THE HOP scenes and puzzles:
