This game plays like a film in fact the cut scenes are about the best I have seen in years . The real surprise is the game flows to and from these cut scenes and doesn't disappoint . The story reminds me of a Dan Brown story but better as other reviewers have already said the game draws you in . Summond to Italy to discuss her grandfathers disapearance a number of weeks before Vanessa has already been having strange dreams .As she approaches St Peters Cathederal she starts to have visions .On her arrival she learns of a secret order her grandfather belongs to .Her job is to find him andsome missing runes that will help stop the world being taken over by evil forces. The game is a close as you can now get to a large file NEW game the HO's are not too frequent and some just involve placing an object. There is an interactive map and a hint button that sends you in the right direction . some of the mini games are quite easy but that is not a bad thing less experienced players will not be put off It is a definate buy for me I am downloading as I type
I recommend this game!

I always try a game myself however bad other reviews are and I am so glad I did . I really enjoyed it Its a bit of a play on the fairy tale sleeping beauty except you wake up with no memory of what has happened while everyone else sleeps It is your job to uncover what has happened and put things right as you do your memory starts to come back . Although the game has HO's it plays more like a large file game the hint button [which refils quickly ] will not tell you what to do I found revisiting scenes helped ,this is where the interactive map comes in and yes you can just jump to the scenes but the map grows the more rooms you visit. I didn't find anything blurry But some doors have a magic spell on them they sparkle until the spell is removed . I have also played a game by these Devs before so I was used to the way the game plays If you like fairy tales with a bit of a twist then give it a go I can't comment on sound or voices I play with the sound off I am definately buying I enjoy a bit of a challenge
I recommend this game!

I have never seen the tv show but now I have played the game I will have to try and watch it . The overall feel of the game is similar to the James Patterson Womens murder club games Which involves other characters at the police lab other detectives etc . Although there are no voice overs but written dialogue it is obvious that this is a well thought out game and the fact it credits the writers of the series for writing the game is a definate plus . Maybe if the game does well they may have voices next time but remember the cost of the game will go up if they have the actors voices. The game revolves around the hunt for a serial killer who styles his murders on classic stories hence he is dubbed the story book killer .The game is a mix of HO's and puzzles its actually quite addictive I found the demo time flew by and I really enjoyed the story . The hint button refills quickly so if you are a beginner it won't hold you back and the map which is essential to move locations sparkles if you need to move to another location
I recommend this game!

I have only played the demo but I enjoyed the game more than I expected I am not a big fan of games with a horror storyline but this game was surprisingly good. A young bride wakes in her hotel room to find her husband has disapeared and everyone appears to have been infected with something that has turned them into Deamons/Zombies She quickly learns that water is something they fear which is useful as it is raining . At the begining in a skipable scene we see a phone conversation in which a scientist accepts blame for something he has done My guess is he is now either dead or we will meet him later as in all good horror stories .I agree with other reviewers there are a lot of HO's but I found them a bit too dark I am used to poor spelling so that doesn't bother me and the hint button is quite quick to refill The graphics were fine 'to be honest they won't win awards but they are not that bad and the story is what drives the game your job is to find your husband and find a cure keeping yourself safe and free from infection There are achievements to win but the biggest reward is the game is much better than you would expect and well worth a try
I recommend this game!

As an experienced gamer I was curious to play the game after all the negative reviews . One thing I realised from the start you HAVE to pay attention to how the game plays and follow the tutorial to have any chance of enjoying the game . The choice of 3 levels of challenge I picked easy and I was glad until you get used to game play some of the HO's are difficult to find The scene slides and as explained you can pan this to find the objects .At the same time there are mini challenges cutting wood /lighting a fire etc OK some of the skip scenes have graphics a lot of reviewers found poor Some developers use those scenes for the best graphics .and some games are all about the look . I played the demo for about 20 mins and found it an ok game but it is really a hidden object game not an adventure game with some HO's I am not the biggest fan of HO's but I found gameplay was ok I came away from playing to write this . I will go back and finish my demo time Although I probably wouldn't buy the game myself because of all the HO's I think it comes down to personal taste
I recommend this game!

This is one of those games that doesn't fall into a type Its not overly comic book or dark enough for fans of that genre it isn't a regular HO It does't tell you what to do with the hint button all the time .It is a strange little game with a character in a sort of limbo who needs to find the bad guys so she can live again I have been playing games for years and this is one of those that expects you to do a bit of lateral thinking I actually thought there were a few too many HO's but the game grew on me not a classic but not as bad as some of the reviews Please try it you may be surprised!
I recommend this game!

A nice change to have a game set in Africa The storyline was a bit different 2 brothers one a doctor one an ex priest come togeather to fight for the life of a young girl The hidden objects were not too often or difficult the mini games were varied and moved the story along The only thing that irritated me was when I found items of interest they stayed on screen a bit too long before going in the inventory but not enough to spoil my enjoyment . Overall this is a game with some surprises and voodooism as a main theme and definately a game I would be happy to play over again and again
I recommend this game!

I was lucky enough to play this game a few weeks ago and loved it So I bought it straight away Playrix are masters at these games and this is a definate winner! If you have not played the original game it doesn't matter Here Austin the master of renovation decides to return to his childhood home to visit his parents .He finds it badly neglected in desperate need of his talents to bring it back to its former glory .and along the way we learn a bit more about Austins past The game runs smoothly with a mix of timed objects to find for buyers to a number of the same items for individual challenges The level of difficulty varies for each jumble sale They have also improved the extras you have your own dog which you name The hidden object scenes are now more organised but still with hidden coins cameras and magnets etc to help you with the challenge Its the type of game that is addictive so I must get back to find out what happens next
I recommend this game!

I have played games that have a 360 * before and once you get used to it gameplay is ok But this was rediculous If there was meant to be hidden dangers etc it was lost on me I spent 10 mins opening a door and looking for things to do ,then I realised there wasn't anything to do ! If you have a good story the style or look of a game whatever the age is acceptable but when there is no content forget it . If the devs a new please take my advice write a good story first !!!
I don't recommend this game.

I really enjoyed playing this game I hadn't expected it to be so good .Based on the first recorded case of vampirism you play the detectives assistant sent to the town of Kisilova to investigate a series of unexplained attacks and the deaths of 9 people. Before you even get there it appears that something or someone is detirmined to stop you ,and so begins the adventure ! Although I am not a big fan of HO's there were not too many to get in the way and there were enough different puzzles to keep everyone happy I found the demo time sped by and the game played more like an adventure game Yes there was some hand holding and some mini games were not too difficult but that made it more accessable to less experienced players .It's good to find a game that works so well with such a good story
I recommend this game!
