I have played the previous games and enjoyed them . This game wins hands down for the story alone It was nice just to play a murder mystery the only downside was it seemed slightly easier to play unless I am just used to the puzzles . As previous reviewers have mentioned the story starts with a fatal stabbing followed by an explosion which as the trusty Detective you are sent to solve . As there seems to be at least three suspects there is now an assistant who is definately a bit dodgy [odd] he certainly has spent money on clothes !!!. As in previous games we have the cute animal this time a rare fox and the shop to buy those things we need to move on in the game ,for which we also need to solve mini games to get coins and parts of a fan hidden in scenes to increase the hints . Overall I have enjoyed playing I just can't decide if I will buy now or wait . But do give it a try I am sure you will enjoy it

Yet again the developers have excelled with a simple tale and come up with an unique twist from the talking Raven who is not that keen to help he is far too cultured and complains, to the poor unfortunate walking dead . There is plenty to do in this game with the extra bonus of spells put togeather with runes and a magic book as well as collecting Goblins . and other awards . The story opens with an elderly chap reading a book . cue spooky happening . Next moment your plane is hit by an electrical storm and you crash land outside the city gates..... and so begins the adventure While I like the mix of using real actors and graphics I prefered this story . to the previous ones The demo was enough to have me hooked and I feel there is enough in the C.E and I am buying now

I havn't played the first game so no idea how it compares ! I really enjoyed my hour There was enough challenge to keep me occupied the ho's were varied not too cluttered but enough if thats what you love without being too much if you don't .As a member of the keepers you find yourself in spain with an eclipse about to happen with limited time to discover the secret a box holds , some nasty surprises to defeat and lots of mini games The CE has a strategy guide morphing objects and the usual awards The overall look of the game is excellent I think there is enough to keep you attention to the end For me I am going to buy now but thats because if I enjoy a game enough I don't want to wait for the S.E

This game plays like a large file game .From the opening scene where your unfourtunate boyfriend is kiddnapped and taken off to some god forsaken island and The creepy guy who takes you on his boat out to the island to find him I was hooked ! You soon acquire a map which allows you to travel about The morphing objects I am usually hopeless I found them easily .In fact everything falls into place not too many HO's a hint button that doesn't take forever [ I didn't use it very often] The scenes were dark without being rediculous and the succubus was suitably scary I am downloading the CE as I write I have taken advantage of the offer this weekend of buy one get one free

I am a big fan of Blue Tea games and in particular the Dark Parables its like a beautiful fairy tale book how they manage it I don't know but you just get drawn into the stories and before you know it the hour is up . I don't really like ho's so finding pieces to make something is also more to my liking . The story like all fairytales has an evil witch or in this case a witch who belives her world has been destroyed by everyone else so swears revenge Your job is to stop her . As usual there are enchanted objects to find -I never find them all on my own !An interactive map and loads of places to visit . The puzzles are varied and some are more difficult than others but you can skip them . the C.E.has a bonus chapter and lots of extras These games I have definately played over more than once . I can't praise them enough
I actually didn't find this game overly dark except as someone else pointed out you have to find a bulb for one of the scenesThis is one of those games you either love or hate you are left to figure out a lot of things on your own The opening scenes which you can skip set the story young girl at a boarding school with a hidden gift AKA see's dead people .leaves her locket in her locker goes to find it is followed by a black shape and it turns out to be a ghost who needs her help I actually found some of the tasks challenging until I got into the game There is a map which opens up the more places you visit The hint button does help but only if you are somewhere relevent .Don't expect lots of hand holding sometimes it is just telling you you need to do something not where to go to get it and what you need . I moved around a bit and then the hints made more sense I also liked the way the angle of the scenes changed at different locations . I started out with an open mind and really enjoyed the demo It will go on my list of to get
Unravel the mystery of Griffin’s strange experiment in this suspenseful hidden object game and find your beloved scientist before he disappears for good!
I actually enjoyed playing this despite not being a fan of the story the game is based on and despite the large number of ho's in the space of about 60 seconds of the games opening I liked the little phantoms that popped out at every ho scene I liked that you had to figure things out for yourself often the items you aquired were not quite enough so you have to look elsewhere . I agree that often the scenes were a bit dark and too much clicking causes an electric storm and there was the odd moment when I had no idea what they were talking about but I assume the dev's are not english speaking . I don't know if I would buy it simply on the story alone, but there is something about this game that draws you in . I would certainly suggest you try it out especially if you like dark tales

I bought the previous game at the end of 2011 and loved it . But they have excelled themselves this time and improved everything The story is a lovely mix of kidnapped girl and gargoyles come to life at Notre Dame along the way you recover a gem ,a map your own mini gargoyle and various other things. Without giving too much away a lot of the puzzles [which are not all ho's] move the story along in fact they managed to come up with such a good mix of puzzles I didn't need to use the hint button very often and when you did it gave you something to do and where to go For me its the CE becuse that's what I had for the last game ,but if you are not sure wait for the SE But do try it!

I played a game 2 years ago with simiar characters and really enjoyed it .After 10 minutes of playing this I have decided to buy . It has more of a feel of an old aventure game than endless ho's On board an airship trying to help a young girl who is a prisoner somewhere its a strange mix of science fiction and girl in danger in fact the only problem I had was the Ho's when I couldn't find 2 objects and I found the recharge button took forever. I left playing to write this and to ask when people write a review please say if they recommed it or not and why .not just what the game consists of!

I think you enjoy a game because of the story not just if the graphics are good . After all there are a lot of murderers wizards etc in gaming land . This is a game where you have to do a bit more thinking for yourself than a lot of games recently .I thought the game got better as the story moved along and as someone else commented 20 minutes of demo time doesn't always give you an idea of what the game is really like but if you hate it just leave it . The game played with no gliches some ho's were a bit dark but you are given the option to increase the brilliance before the game starts The puzzles were varied and you could skip if you wanted I found it far more enjoyable than I had expected after reading some early reviews
