Personally, I will NEVER again buy ANY game from these particular game developers and MANY of us in the forum will not as well.
The game is too complicated with FAR TOO limited number of hints, with EXTREMELY small objects to find, and with mini-games that DEMAND speed as well as accuracy to complete with TOO MANY occurrences of having to do repeats.
Though there are some timed games that I've completed; overall, I've alot of time management games that are STILL (and probably always will be) sitting in my Purchase History only somewhat played because I just can't seem to be able to beat the clock.
For those of us that are NOT very good strategic thinkers with the timer running out, the level can STILL continue to be played until the goal has been accomplished.
This aspect of the game is VERY different from any other Match3 games that I've played -- it's either timed or it's not or you've got an option of either/or.
Whereas this game, while playing a level, is both -- you just lose bonus points for not completing a level within the "gold" time and lose more bonus points for not completing a level within the "silver" time and gain no bonus points for just completing the level.
One of the issues that I find very annoying for myself is the many times that I have to refer to a walkthrough to play and finish a game.
With this game, however, I RARELY had to look at the walkthrough and when I did it was because I'd not moved my cursor completely around/within a scene to pick up an item that I needed to use for a task in 1 or 2 scenes later and had become stuck.
So, my point is this: MOVE THAT CURSOR AROUND and make sure that you've picked up everything necessary to progress in the game. You'll enjoy this game alot more and you'll find it much easier to follow.
I found it very important to check out the map to ascertain where I needed to be compared to where I was; it was extremely helpful to help me not to get lost.
HOWEVER, the hint button was NOT nearly as helpful as it should have been. I KNEW in 1 area that there were 2 tasks needing to be taken care of but the hint button would show ONLY 1 of those 2 tasks. I discovered (through the walkthrough) that in that SAME 1 area there were actually 3 tasks needing to be done and the 1 task that the hint button CONSTANTLY referred to could NOT be accomplished until several tasks later AFTER doing the 3rd task in that 1 area.
Without the assistance of the hint button, it made for unnecessary running around and frustration and eventually referring to the walkthrough for the guidance that the hint button was not providing.
I really liked playing this game as the voice-overs are GREAT and the script was in perfect sync with the dialogue. What I didn't understand was the reason behind the ghostfigher's girlfriend's ghost being unable to verbalize.
It may sound silly but I was intrigued as to the RESPECT that the ghostfighter was given by the local people; nowadays, sadly, many are ridiculed as there are so many frauds attempting to scam people.
While, at times, the hidden objects were difficult to find I found that for the most part this game was easy to follow along with and follow through with as to the tasks needed to be accomplished to move on with the game.
I also found that I was not getting lost in having to run back and forth to "parts unknown and known" to ascertain what to do or where to go to do it. Though there was some moving back and forth, it was contained enough to know that whatever object(s) you'd picked up, you knew what location to head for to use said objects.
While this game does have a timer, it's just there to inform you as to the length of time it took you to finish the level.
I did not give this game a higher rating because the cursor moves slowly, the falling of the objects move slowly, and the overall feeling of this game is -- don't play this game while tired as you'll fall asleep -- which is a real shame as the graphics are great.
I REALLY like the objects encased under the fish present as these indicate what objects have to be removed to "heal" the sick fishies; in essence, REAL goals to achieve rather than just clicking away at the Match3 board to just clear tiles.
The BEST part of this game is that you can switch modes of play WHILE PLAYING A LEVEL between swap, group, and chains. It makes the gameplay really fun and FAR LESS frustrating than some of the other Match3 games I play.
The objects were not only tiny but the description of said items left "something to be desired" and your reward to having to search 6 or more hidden object scenes were these itty-bitty pieces of the door family crest and there are LOTS of itty-bitty pieces to collect before you enter said room.
After having played this game for over a month, my computer crashed and I had to purchase a new one; guess what game I'm NOT going to replay.
There ARE instructions BUT it's only during the game play itself; there are no written instructions to which you can refer.
This game reminds me of Jewel Heritage wherein you can move objects into blank squares to continue your game play; however, for me, it's not a game that I can play because the timer just runs too quickly.
You not only can move objects into blank squares but you can move them from anywhere within a column of objects that are next to said blank squares -- meaning that you don't JUST have to take the object from the top and use it to fill in the blanks.
BEWARE, though, that as you move objects into blank squares, that they'll DROP into the 1st available blank square. This means that if you're trying to line up a strategic play but there are blank squares below the area that you're shooting for, then your strategy will NOT be successful as there's got to be objects below to hold up the objects that you're trying to strategically play.
There are blocks within the game board that can ONLY BE REMOVED BY turning ALL squares to gold and THEN you've got to turn THOSE particular squares gold after clearing the blocks which causes increased pressure to turn squares into gold as quickly as possible. ALL squares have to be gold in order to win the level.
There are power-ups -- 1 you have no control over as it'll be a charge-up for a particular color and it's THOSE colors that'll be removed from the board.
The vertical and horizontal power-ups will NOT turn a blank square into a gold square.while either vertically and horizontally getting rid of a whole row,
I recommend this game!

Coyote's Tale: Fire and Water
Two sisters are about to go on the strangest vacation of their lives. Mischievous Aztec gods strive to make life a little more difficult.
This game is somewhat grainy in some others and crowded in others while color-on-color in yet other scenes and I did play in timed mode without much difficulty and NEVER had to repeat a scene because of time running out. I did not bother playing the other sister (which was the relaxed mode)
If you watch the comments made, you'll eventually learn the ability to gather flowers (up to 5 in each scene) which will, in turn, show you the placement of a hidden object. STILL later, you'll be informed that you'll EARN flowers if you quickly identify and click on 3 hidden objects at a time.
As experienced had demonstrated to me the difficulty in finding certain items, I chose to gather 3 hidden objects at a time EARNING flowers and if I got down to 3 items yet found, I would then click on flowers within the scene (AFTER, hopefully finding at least 2 of those 3 items) and then click on a hidden flower(s) within the scene which shows me the last hidden object.
HOWEVER, I would NOT click on that last hidden object that the flower power was showing me UNTIL I clicked on the OTHER hidden flowers that were within the scene (remember, there's only 5 in each scene) and that allowed for a build-up of flowers for the next scene.
I would then return to my modus operandi of clicking on 3 objects and EARNING more flowers that were combined with the "whatever number of flowers I'd found in the previous scene" which would allow for the finding of a hidden object within THAT scene and then wait until the last item to be found BEFORE collecting those hidden flowers; hopefully, I'd be able to know where that last item was so that I did not have to use up my flower power.
There are several levels in which there is no possibility of achieving the fragments4 without using your available heroes so it's very important to learn how each one of them works.
Often in a level, you'll need to concentrate on gathering more of 1 hero over another to get him/her to explode whatever blockage is there and then start gathering the other hero to have him/her extricate those fragments necessary to complete the level. The hero, Zeus, is very helpful in this endeavor.
It's a wonder that I got as far into the game as I did without realizing that it was best to wait until each hero's status was completely filled before using it as they take out more tiles than when using them as soon as they are available. I only found 1 level (very close towards the end of the game) wherein it's useless to finish off that level by waiting for 1 of the heroes to completely fill up before using because of the fact that it'll only take out 1 tile (despite having 2 tiles in each tier that needed to be removed) whether the hero is completely filled or just available.
It's also important to note that you need to ascertain exactly what your goals are BEFORE beginning that level of game play as you may NOT need to get rid of everything that you think you do such as the monoliths or even roped objects; whereas in other levels, you may have an extra task to perform.
BTW, don't forget (as in the other Heroes games) to pick up your treasure chests, sacks of gold, and gems from within the city while/after you've built your city.
