I love and own every one of the wonderful Jewel Match games from the very beginning of their offerings onward.
They have never disappointed and offer gorgeous graphics, great music and SFX (sound effects) and challenging (leveled) gameplay that is fun and entertaining.
Wow, so-called scary games for Halloween have gone so downhill over recent years and it truly amazes me that this could even pass as any star by most game players that have tried it.
I've played games since DOS and this game based on the DEMO is so utterly boring and commonplace that it actually helped me combat insomnia because I started dozing off within a few minutes.
So, all of those that have done shout outs for bells and whistles in games, congratulations, because NOW we have games with literally zero interesting story but all types of stupid voice and silly, stiff animations and fake looking lip movement along with gaudy graphics that do nothing for immersion or interest, but gee, who cares about the actual STORY? Well, I do. I'd rather have basic games with fantastic storylines than this junk.
So, yeah, looks like game developers have heeded the call to the mindless masses and now pay all of the budget to graphics people INSTEAD of writers and designers of GOOD games. Thanks for nothing, lol~!

I am supporting 8th Floor Games with my 5 Star Review for one reason, only because it is apparent that perhaps the developer has gone downhill in what they can offer us due to certain negative Nancy's reviews that defunded their growth potential over the years.
8th Floor Games were instrumental in giving us some of the most amazingly fun and exciting TM games in the past and it is ludicrous that certain reviewers consistently attack various game developers simply because they can.
This is a simple jigsaw puzzle game with simple pictures... good for when one is listening to podcasts or 'simply' wish to really veg out. Afterall, there are many of us that are sick and tired of the over belled and whistled (insistence on moving mouths and morphing what nots), as well as the dark and creepy themed games that have been shoved down our throats in recent years, maybe some of us are thirsty for 'simple' and sweet.
So, some of us NEED this type of game if only to de-stress and guaranteed, with better ratings this developer will be able to actually afford better templates.
Also, why are some reviewers allowed to add outside URL's to personal sites on their reviews when it is against BFG rules?
Hmmm.
Anyhoo: Happy gaming one and all.
I recommend this game!

I can not wrap my head around the fact that this type of game gets 5 stars and games which take an enormous amount of development effort are reviewed with only one star by some of the same reviewers for tiny, ridiculously Hyper-critical reasons. Afterall, THIS game has much worse flaws, lack of evolution, context and imagination than most all others offered here on BFG and elsewhere (scratches head). Is it a clique thing?
I also can not understand WHY some people are blatantly allowed to add outside links (URL's) within their reviews while no one else can. It is clearly outlined in the BFG terms of use/ review guidelines and discrimination is not acceptable, BFG.(scratches head again).
At any rate, if you like 1st grade level gameplay and do not enjoy change when you play a developer's offerings, this is the game for YOU, lol. Enjoy and happy gaming!
I enjoyed this Halloween-themed Match 3 game that offers some unique game play for a fun change of pace.
The graphic choices for the main character's home upgrades could have been better, yet, the game graphics in-game overall and sound were great and I definitely recommend it.

The 3-D graphics on my computer for this game are absolutely fantastic and the sound and SFX are great.
Gameplay has 3 modes for excellent replay value. The challenge is good yet not frustratingly so. The only con is that the entire game itself is a bit short.
I love playing this series while listening to Podcasts and would love to see more from this developer!

The only pluses to this game are 1) They used the word Christmas and 2) the Christmas graphics were beautiful
HOWEVER, there was really nothing Christmassy about this game in it's actual story other than the overall theme. A doll looking for it's owner is a good theme for a Christmas game, yet, the actions within the game were just creepy and not truly in the Christmas spirit at all.
Sadly I will not purchase what I was hoping to be a nice Christmas game (based on the initial game screen). It was just a boring and strange mishmash of having to open one thing and another in order to move on and I couldn't even finish the DEMO because of the monotony of it all.
