Having played this on another site, I can say this was so horrible I wasn't able to continue even though at the time I was completely bored and would have welcomed any type of game I hadn't already played. However, it was ridiculous and a jumbled mess. The graphics are recycled, the gameplay recycled and the plot so unappealing I ended up doing a long put off project instead and actually enjoyed my day versus being annoyed at mindboggling stupidity.
It's fun earning the money (and more importantly KNOWING HOW TO SPEND IT) to move forward and upgrade and embellish your restaurants, keep patrons happy and once you figure that out, game play is smooth and rewarding.
Part of the fun in this series is figuring out how NOT to have hot heads and angry customers because, honestly, my virtual customers are never angry and I've never had a problem with not earning plenty of money. Part of the trick is spending your earnings wisely and pacing your purchases on the proper equipment and upgrades. So if you are getting lots of angry customers, you haven't used your money wisely. And, BTW, one can also play levels over and earn tons of money that way if they aren't able to figure it out any other way.
Those who complain it's the same game as prior games, well, it isn't... no more than any TM game series. They ALL have a basic formula, really.
I have a enjoyed each and every one of this developer's games and each level (and game) offers a new set and them.
It's a great formula and I, for one, love it, enjoy it and hope they keep it.
Same mechanics as all of this series' games with slight adjustment for "story" which really is not a "story" at all.
I don't enjoy the butler's same little comment over and over, game after game, level after level, mouse click after click; in fact, I find it down-right annoying! And it's not only annoying and obnoxious to me but to anyone in the family that happens to be near while I'm playing and I certainly don't appreciate having to put on headphones for a silly TM game!
Another deal breaker for me was this: though I can 'stomach' just about anything (having been a nurse), I don't like the "Blood Donald's" name AT ALL... the mental picture that evokes is nauseating and IMO not necessary and definitely not appealing in my gaming!
Overall the series was based on some genuinely good ideas and offers some creative aspects and a bit of fun, but the repetitive sameness of the final products one after another and given that it repeats some of the irritating elements over and over and over makes it 3 stars at best and with that, probably best saved for Halloween. Bottom line, this game just cuts 3 Stars and at absolute best, 3 1/2.
This game is just a bunch of random objects thrown onto a background screen with zero appeal.
The sound and music let alone the graphics are boring and amateur.
Although I usually applaud "retro" style games in any genre, this is just a complete fail and not at all fun. Not to mention the fact that some rated the wonderful Fam Mys games below three and rate this pile of yard scrap 5 is beyond ambiguous to any one with a sense of reason, lol
The fact this game got ANY 5 star ratings let alone a few 4 stars is beyond ambiguous and leaves me both scratching and SMH. I am equally amazed that it is rated above the Family Mys HO games which are clearly "retro" and yet entire worlds apart in terms of quality, imagination, and pure game-designing love that was poured in compared to this gad-awful apparent rush-job trash heap.
The music is lousy, the sound uninspired and the graphics are laughable. The game consists of random, boring clip art tossed over a background screen with what sounds like free audio loops tossed in for good (nah, poor) measure. Not to mention that many of said images are difficult to see even on a wide, high-def monitor.

I absolutely love the entire Jewel Match Twilight series and this one is no exception. The graphics are 3D~ish (especially if your res is scaled way up), the effects and music are perfect, it is very atmospheric as well as immersive and the build area after gaining $ and gems in between sets are very well done and have a hand-sketched and appropriately spooky (thus the twilight title) quality.
My only qualm, but one of a more personal issue, would be that I'd wish the graphics would have a wee bit less movement as I can be a bit motion sensitive at times but there is a setting to set the match objects to still (yet some of the other in-game graphics can be quite motion active at times throughout the game). Regardless, it's definitely a 5+++ game!
Highly recommended for choosy M-3 players like me; it is top notch (I also love their solitaire games under the same name).
Maybe for children minus the magic and witch factor (way too much of that these days IMO). There really is no real moral or other redeeming factor to the story that would compel me to share this with a child in my life.
Also, I don't get the alligator mascot with the woods theme!?
The music is nothing special and it's read along text with no voice over (which I am fine with in an immersive game)
The few dimensional graphics I saw inserted into the game were appealing and the puzzles were incorporated well. The overall graphic colorization was vivid and cartoonish as were the puzzles.
If they had continued the 3D-ish graphics as in the intro it would have been better.
The storyline is simple and shallow and obviously geared to children; thus, not for the average (non-bored) adult; I'm guessing most would rather read a book, work on a hobby, or do something more productive …..such as take a nap, which is what this game made me want to do zzzz. The good part is I had no problem deleting it and doing some chores instead.

Part Match 3, part adventure story, part mystery/detective. Many of the greatest games are the oldest games and as mentioned this is a retro style M3 game with good graphics, great tunes, excellent SFX and fun plot oriented gameplay. Not saying this is one of the greatest yet it is definitely a very good game well worth the entry fee and I will be buying based on DEMO. It has a fun plot that intrigues me to actually want to move forward versus just mindless ad nauseum sameness as many M3 games tend to be. Recommended.
My title speaks for itself. The only game that gets overlooked for obnoxious repetition, cruddy music, horribly dated and tiny graphics and senseless clutter piles. Not recommended even for free.
