Every release cult followers give this game a 5.
Every release it is basically the SAME.
Every release is a cluttered MESS.
Every release is a music sound loop.
Every release is either overly colored or muted out.
Every release, as one player also mentioned, gives me a headache and even though I have perfect vision I HAVE to wear magnifying glasses even on a super large wide screen computer monitor.

Developer, please update and polish and enlarge your graphics and give us good sound and music.

This is a delightful change of pace and I am so happy the developer decided to create a good story line with realistic content (a female protagonist in the role of detective, a'la Nancy Drew-ish?) instead of the usual murky, dark paranormal, sci fi and gadget 'stuff' we've been spoon fed for so long. I am 'upping' my ratings just a wee bit because I believe this game was unfairly targeted (when one compares similar games to similar reviews it doesn't add up fairly at all. For example, how can one rate a HOG with tiny clutter scenes and very old fashioned graphics and similar inconsistencies in realism a "5" and then rate this game 1 or 2 because they claim the exact same? ). I'd also like to add that not ALL of us are tried and true HOG-only game players and appreciate when developers reach out to us and give us variety. Don't get me wrong, this is definitely a HOG for the most part but the puzzles are unique and fun and also the HOG are NOT, IMO, "junk piles" any more then any other HOG games we get here on BFG that are often rated 5. So, the graphics aren't perfectly fleshed out but the story and game play is such that you probably will not notice because it is interesting, different and therefore, immersive.
I haven't purchased a game for a long time (other then TM by Game House developers) but THIS game is getting my cash.

Casual gaming strategy, not fair for those that have only played HO games to try this type of game and then come and down vote. If you already enjoy and have experience with strategy genre games (or willing to learn and use your own initiative and follow directions), I suggest you give this series a try.
This is a great, fun series.
Wish there would be more; developers.... PLEASE!?

I enjoy games that are more of a realistic nature; whether the overall plot good, bad or indifferent; as long as it is well done. Afterall, isn't that what games are for, to explore boundaries with the comfort of knowing "it's just a game". That said, the theme of this game wasn't entirely realistic but it was very creatively produced and the final result was excellent IMO
Now, upcoming I hope we will be offered some nice murder mysteries versus all the dark, supernatural weirdness that is spewed out by developers in recent years.
Thank you developers for taking everyone into consideration as well as being brave enough to create games from your unique and talented imaginations and not be overly influenced by trends nor a select target market at the exclusion of all gamers.
I recommend this game and look forward to more along this and similar themes.

I absolutely relished playing every single moment of this game. It is chock full of delightful, clever and unique content and unique, magical story and special effects. Graphics are wonderful, as are the touch activated animated scene items. Sound effects are fantastic and varied, creating an immersive gaming experience.
All combine to make a memorable gaming journey and a definite buy for this gaming girl.
Highly recommended, especially just before Halloween, yet anytime will be a joy to play.
Thank you SO much, developers, for going outside the box with this one.

The main character should have stayed asleep because given the choices it would have been more fun.
I base my opinion on the DEMO and have to say that whoever started the trend of adding all kinds of bells and whistles in lieu of real substance and intrigue should expand their horizons a bit.
Being an avid gamer, I just can not recommend this game. It is a rehashed mix of the same ole stuff that cookie cutter games have offered for years; including the so-called choices matter (been there, done that on other platforms!), Bottom line, it is boring and contains no varied substance enticing me to fork out $ no matter what choice I were to make within the game; it basically offers the same cheesy animations, graphics and SFX that most casual game developers regurgitate over and over and over.
Try the demo; maybe you will like it more than I did; and I surely hope so!
I don't recommend this game.

What an exceptionally produced game; it is the first in a long time I actually will complete.
The graphics are beautiful; the storyline compelling with a mix of charm and creepy making it a beautiful blend of intrigue.
The SFX, voice, characterization, music and every aspect of the sound quality was top notch.
I highly recommend this game; definitely check it out via DEMO; the story does not fade from there in any regard.
Highly recommended; happy gaming!

Personally don't enjoy the choppy, tiny and outdated graphics in this series. On the plus side the music and theme is pleasant enough; after-all, who doesn't enjoy cruising and vacations in general.
IMO the series appears to be way over-rated in the scheme things and especially based on reviews because after reading through them all before downloading, they were almost all 5 stars and, therefore, of course I was expecting waaaay more.
I pass on these unless/until the developers smooth out and enlarge and update the graphics a whole lot more.
