Just like the treat itself.... PLAYING the game, Cake Shop II, is both addictive and SWEET! No calories though, in fact, chances are, you'll burn some calories just through sheer adrenaline keeping up with serving your customers and maintaining accurate orders.
I enjoyed the first one, too; the graphics quality has definitely come up a couple notches and the story has shifted somewhat... I'm happy to own both and hope you enjoy them as well. So...
Check it out... definitely well worth the full price and a steal at DD ~ LUCKY YOU!! :)

This 'save the people from evil with crystals and potions is getting SO BORING'!!!!
It amazes me what so many consider 'good' these days.... 5 stars, REALLY!? This, to me was totally the same ole same ole made worse with the addition of unrelated characters, depictions and puzzles. Odd symbols to open every door?? Yep...basically the same old plot, same graphics mixed with inconsistency to boot (in addition, even the graphics were inconsistent... they were very muttled in areas no matter what I did with my graphics card), there was WAY too much hand holding even in the hardcore. Silly cutesy things thrown into an suspenseful plot??? Wha?
The very beginning (the front yard) and into the house held my attention and then it all began to fall apart from there. Sigh....
It was silly, unconnected story with SO much running around for stupid little items.... ugh. A mix of folk tale, sensationalism, the old evil witch versus whomever, save the person, blah blah blah.... I wish someone would save US from these sorts of games, really!

Cheerful, cute, fun with a strategy/time management framework.... I loved it.
The timer is not really a factor if you use your thinker.... it's all a matter of strategy and it's fun to challenge yourself to improve to get better and better scores.... every level lets you restart so it's not really a problem at all since it also gives a tutorial.
Tons of fun... adorable characters and theme... I loved it.

The whole series is a great adventure must-try... yes, there is a lot of comparatively stagnant gameplay but it's worth the effort. It's for when you're in the mood for a challenge and thoughtful gaming, definitely NOT comparable to anything in the basic and generic casual game genre.
Give it a go when your in a comtemplative mood, otherwise you won't enjoy it's many attributes.

YAY, based on their initial presentation, I would say this developer will be a shining star in the gaming industry and I, for one, will look forward to more from them!
Other than the title, which I thought was a bit cheesy, the game itself is one super and original puzzle after another with vintage/dated scenes, interesting H0G's, all appropriate to game's theme and enveloped in a very 'different' and engaging storyline.
Two thumbs up and a huge smile from this little fishy.
Give it a go.... well worth the price tag (at least!).

I was new to the TM genre and this is the game that got me hooked on Strategy games.
At first you will feel out of control and overwhelmed and yet stick it out and before you know it, you'll have learned all the little 'tricks of the trade' that will make YOU a tried and true land developer success.
So much fun looking back and seeing what you've developed and the $$$ you are able to make when it all comes together.
Check it out... you'll not only create vacation resorts for others in this game, you'll find, as I did, that you'll enjoy developing them as much as a vacation, too!

Die hard HOG players and 'wow' seeking gamers may have rated this low, yet if you enjoy a superb STORY along with your graphics (ie wine with your steak versus soda with junk food) PLUS enjoy truly great sound in your games... voice and music, as well as intricately detailed scenes (including the H0G scenes), check this out.
I am thoroughly enjoying this great little tale... more 'scary' than the games with bells and whistles (to me) because you have to use your imagination and, in addition, it takes place in realistic, historically correct locations with accurate info.
I suggest wearing headphones to truly appreciate the subtle quality in this game as far as the sound factor; it is TRULY IMPRESSIVE! Dialiect and accents are top notch; atmospheric sound... the best. Crickets chirping in the background, etc... nice!!!
The dimly lit areas are appropriate to the setting and time of day of each scene.
A quality, enjoyable little thrill.... check it out and remember to expect simply done quality, not quantity in terms of the whole package.

This one is a buy....
What's with the low 1 and 2 star scores just because it's "difficult", there is a walkthrough.
I enjoyed this game even though simple maneuvers and graphics; in fact, I found it even more enjoyable than many of the newer whoopee doopee graphics games. ;)
Check it out... you may be surprised as I was to enjoy this one. (crush)
I recommend this game!

Diner Dash Flo on the Go
Flo trades in her apron for a passport to paradise! But will our hard-working waitress get a chance to relax?
I love all the Dash games and this is no exception.... I continue to go back to them in between adventure games Flo and all Dash characters have a special charm and the games are a true delight to play.
This one has a wardrobe Flo can change depending on what restaurant theme she is serving as she ventures to different locations enroute along the way on her attempted 'vacation'... adds just a little added 'dash' of silly fun to the gameplay.

Where was THIS game hiding???
I am loving it.... has variable gameplay and nice graphics. I enjoy variation so the find the difference puzzles and ALL the puzzles mix with adventure are SO MUCH FUN.
Even though it apparently was released some time ago, it's more fun than I've had with any DEMO in ages. Off to buy!!
