Just finished the demo and I gotta have it! Great fun, lots of variety, didn't want to stop playing. I've been waiting a long time for a really good Match3, one that doesn't have huge boards - I soon get bored when I play those. Although I got all 3 stars in every level I played (22 OR 23), there is some challenge from the beginning - I felt motivated to complete each one as fast as I could and get those 3 stars every time, wanted the best score I could achieve. With 200 levels, I'd say the boards slowly get more challenging. This is one that (so far at least) I want to play timed. When the going gets tough, I can switch to relaxed. I'm pretty certain this is a game I'm going to play over and over again for a while, will definitely want to finish in timed mode. I haven't been this excited about a M3 for a long time!

Played the demo last night, signed in just now to purchase. I had a lot of fun playing the mini games in the demo -- different than the usual and challenging but not too much so (I never got frustrated and gave up). Seems to be a lot of them, something I don't normally care for, but as I said these ones are more entertaining than usual. I also enjoyed the hidden object scenes I was able to play. This game is somewhat different than the usual H/O game and I appreciated not having an over-abundance of help that I didn't want, having to do a little thinking about what I needed to do next every now and then. Decent hints available in case you do need help now and then - Hint button refills very quickly in casual mode. No technical problems with game play -- ran smoothly. The graphics were fine, IMO, not disappointing at all.

Played the demo last night before bed and was disappointed when it ended, decided to buy it today. Not the usual hidden object adventure and I certainly welcome that, have been hoping for something a bit different for a long time. There wasn't much in the way of finding hidden objects in the demo - I'd just label it "adventure". Normally I'd have passed on this one because I don't care for "romance/girlie"-type games but the glowing reviews convinced me to give it a try. I'm glad I did - it's fun to play, entertaining, not something I find too "girlie". Not difficult at all but, as I said, I've only played the demo so far. Other reviews here have covered specifics about the game, noted the excellent graphics and smooth play so I'll just throw in my recommendation. I can hardly wait to continue playing this one!
Loved the M3 play -- the moving board for a bit of extra challenge (took getting used to at first), the lovely explosions, etc. Spent a number of enjoyable hours playing this but not being able to complete it has spoiled the overall experience somewhat. Be warned that you must open your journal immediately after completing the last game board (as per game forum) so that you don't get stuck playing it over and over without accomplishing anything. Other than that, I really love this M3 game. I know I'll be playing it again so I will eventually get to defeat the enemy and enjoy many hours of fun play doing so.
I'm a big fan of Match 3 games and love a good, uncomplicated one every now and then, one that I like to come back to every once in a while for some relaxing fun. This is one of those. I recommend playing the trial before buying, may not be to your taste.

Used a free game credit and am glad I did. Yes, it might seem "primitive" in comparison to other recent games but I welcomed the change from the usual lately. I was fine with graphics & sound, didn't experience any glitches, story was good, most puzzles pretty easy. I had fun playing this game and recommend it.

I really enjoyed the original Jewel Quest years ago and purchased this one thinking it was a good Match 3 game. Not many match3 boards; mostly hidden object scenes. And those HOS were a little difficult on my eyes -- too many tiny objects, well hidden. I'd have liked it better if they'd at least doubled the # of match3 boards. Lost interest in the storyline early on; found it rather silly. That said, I'd recommend this game to those who are very fond of HOS.
