What a charming, beautiful game, a must-purchase for me. I liked everything about it, really enjoyed playing the demo. I didn't find (as another reviewer did) any mislabelled items (I didn't have to find a parrot that I can remember but the key really was a key of sorts -- a vehicle remote fob). Many items are cleverly hidden and some were quite a challenge for me to find which I'm happy with, don't want things to be too easy.
In each scene you're tasked with also finding a collectible (as shown on the tree stump at the bottom-right of your screen) and a piece of a magnifying glass (as shown on the tree stump at bottom-left). One or two list items shown in blue in each scene can be clicked on to change it to another item if you're having trouble finding it. Sparkling areas still sparkle even after there are no hidden items left to find there upping the challenge a wee bit. One mode of play -- relaxed -- no timer, no click penalties, use the hint button as often as you like (refills quickly).
I highly recommend this game! A very pleasant, amusing change from the usual and easy to play, suitable for all family members.
I recommend this game!

A good choice for those who like 'relaxing', straight hidden object games. The scenes are mostly attractive enough and not too cluttered. The 3 cats that you find once per scene in the game are very easy to find as are most of the hidden objects - one or two per scene had me searching for an extra minute or two. Music is soothing, perfect for those wanting a relaxing experience. Note that you can only choose mode of play at the beginning, can't change it later.
I played the first scene 3x to see if the game was like the "Travel To..." series -- it's not; all were just straight listed items, no silhouettes, or missing or scrambled word lists. You have to find a few new items each time you play a scene again but most of the items are the same ones you had to find before. The same Spot the Differences scene (including all the exact same differences to find) came up afterwards all 3x I played.
I don't understand why the developers don't tell us something as basic as where we're supposed to be (what country/place the scene represents) and a little bit about it. That makes a game like this a bit more interesting and we often learn something new, too.
Points are earned by finding the cats and hidden objects which you then use to purchase items that apparently have no purpose other than just collecting all of them.
Not a purchase for me but a decent choice for those who aren't looking for any challenge, just some relaxing, find-the-objects fun if that's what you enjoy. In that case, I have to say I recommend.
I recommend this game!

This game should appeal to everyone who likes a good nanogram. My only complaint is that we have to strictly keep within the row we're marking - no tiny stray into another one or off the grid altogether while holding down your mouse button or else you'll have to start marking that row all over again. That's such a tiny complaint since it just slows me down a wee bit (I can be impatient at times), didn't affect my rating.
Being able to choose between expert or normal (relaxed) mode is what matters most to me in a puzzle game. I prefer the extra challenge expert mode offers, like to be kept on my toes, but I also like to be able to play a more relaxed game if I feel like it (eg, when I'm tired or feeling under the weather). Having that choice is also what makes a game appealing to both beginner and seasoned puzzlers - as long as the puzzles are good and these certainly are.
I don't really care about a story although a good one's a bonus, that's for sure. This one doesn't dominate/overwhelm game play which I'm grateful for but I can't comment further on it because I didn't play long enough to find out before deciding to review and purchase.
Pictures are decent and fortunately, not all (or even many it seems from the demo) involve garish colours (in my opinion; depends on one's personal taste as a previous reviewer loves those extra bright and bold colours).
I'm loving this game so far so yes, I recommend it!

Finally a match3 game that isn't boringly easy. You have to work for your 3 stars in this one even in relaxed mode and that's the way it should be unless it's a game meant for kiddies or advertised as very easy/no challenge.
First you are prompted to choose either relaxed or expert mode. I chose relaxed and couldn't change it to expert when I tried to after playing a few levels. After choosing relaxed/expert, you're then prompted to choose timed or limited moves for even more challenge or play timeless/endless moves. You can change that after starting the game. At the end of the 1st gameboard, you are given the option to "skip fireworks" if you're one of those that doesn't want to sit through them, just want to get on with gameplay. That msg doesn't appear in subsequent levels but you can choose to skip the fireworks in Options at any time. You aren't given a ton of matches ready for you to make at the beginning of each level -- as I said, you have to work for your stars in this game.
I encountered no technical issues, found the graphics, music and sound effects pleasant and the level of challenge to my liking -- especially the extra options offered. If you're a fan of M3 games, I highly recommend you try the demo for this one.
I recommend this game!

Played the demo only (to level 2-2, I figured I didn't have enough time to complete another puzzle), don't plan to purchase. I enjoy mosaic games -- Rainbow Mosaics and Time Twins are currently my favourite series and I also liked the 2nd edition of Legendary Mosaics released a month or two ago. I think the puzzle pictures are better in those games than in this one. I didn't rate the storyline because I really didn't notice one but that's not important for me in a mosaic game; I play for the puzzles, not the story or the minigames (boy, I hate those 'trace the lines' ones and that's the only one I encountered in the demo so there aren't many).
The puzzles are decent but I found all the ones in the demo to be pretty easy; hopefully, they get more difficult as one progresses through the game. There is only one mode of play, no choice there, so you must play in easy mode. You can't see how many levels you've completed either without leaving the main game to check on the map.
If you absolutely love mosaic games and can't get enough of them, I recommend buying this one if you don't mind playing in easy mode.
I recommend this game!

I played part of the demos for both of the old-fashioned hidden object games released in the past couple of days and found I preferred this one.
Going by the game title and description, I expected this one to be a trip around USA but it's not. First scene was San Francisco but the 2nd was Toronto, Canada and the 3rd was Dominican Republic. That's as far as I got before stopping to purchase it. Perhaps what is meant by "American" Voyage is The Americas but as far as I know D.R. isn't actually part of The Americas so it's really a voyage throughout the western hemisphere?
Why did I prefer this game over the other? Although I found the format of the other series a bit of a novelty in the first game, I quickly tired of it during the 2nd one which I didn't even bother to finish. That's just a matter of personal preference; I'm sure there are others who prefer the opposite.
This one's pretty simple a la Park Rangers (although not quite as good). It's perfect for those times you want to play a simple, straightforward game for a little while but also amusing enough for longer periods of time depending on how you feel. The few minigames I played were easy (they can be skipped) and the hidden object scenes had a nice level of challenge -- objects mostly not too hard to find but not too easy either -- no frustration here. If you like playing a simple HOG in timed mode for more challenge you can do that but I purchased because it's a decent game for relaxing, family play.
I recommend this game!

I just happen to be replaying Imperial Island 3 (love it!) and have to say I prefer that one by far. In this game, you aren't building an empire; you're building "the biggest, most spectacular" ski resort. That in itself is a disappointment for me. Overall, I find this one too feminine/girlie (and I'm not a guy!). The music is soothing, bland, pleasant.
The game board/icons are quite a bit larger than in #3 (I seem to have missed #4 or maybe I didn't like it enough to buy) and are crisp and clear. I experienced no technical issues and found gameplay very smooth and there's no waiting while pieces finish exploding/dropping off before you can make another match -- you can match as fast as you want to.
The usual choices for an M3 of relaxed, timed or limited moves and I played the demo in relaxed mode. I still found there was a nice level of challenge though. Early on, large seals are introduced to block your way and they multiply so you must destroy at least some of them by making a match (like the octopuses in #3 but seem not as deadly). In level 11, boulders are also introduced close to the top of the board to further block your progress and it took me longer to complete that level since there were also a number of large seals at the bottom of the board which I didn't notice at the beginning. Sometimes you have to choose your next move carefully to stay 'alive'.
Bonuses made with matches of 4 or 5, the bombs and 'arrows', appear only in the same colour as the match you made to create them; thus they only work when you match them with the same colour icons.
Overall, this one is not as 'exciting' for me as #3 and I did deduct a star for the 'too girlie' aspect (which I could also describe instead as visually geared toward children) and my lack of enthusiasm. That's a personal preference. But if you like, or at least don't mind, that kind of thing, then I highly recommend this game for you.
I recommend this game!

I'm not a big fan of this type of M3 game but I was disappointed when the demo ended, was having good fun playing. I like games that require at least a bit of planning, thinking about the next moves I should make. I have plenty of M3 games that don't that I can play any time I only want to relax and click away.
There were only two game modes: Easy (match 2) and Hard (match 3). I played the demo in M3 mode and survived all levels/didn't have to replay any and I'm certainly no pro when it comes to this type of game. Normally, levels tend to get harder as one progresses through a game like this and then I start having trouble. Since I've only played the demo so far, I can't say if this one gets frustrating or not, if I'll end up abandoning it before I finish it. Game play is nice and smooth; I experienced no technical difficulties.
Yes there are cannons -- a most practical way to get rid of barriers -- but not once did I think of any other M3 game series while playing, didn't think of the cannons or any other bonus as a 'rip-off' of some other developer's game. I can't think of any M3 game that doesn't use bombs for instance, and dynamite is also a popular M3 bonus. There are only so many ways to destroy icons and barriers. I too greatly enjoy a couple of popular M3 series but for some time now, I've found them too repetitive, very, very little new offered with each release -- the two series even resemble each other so much that pretty well the only difference is the storyline. I find this one a refreshing change.
I recommend this game!

I disagree with the comparison to the Park Ranger series. Yes, this is an old school type hidden object game but containing predominantly HO scenes is where any similarity between the two ends. I'm a fan of both the Park Rangers and Christmas Wonderland series of games (which are past due for upgrading!) -- plenty enough old-style HO gaming for me personally but I'm not adverse to purchasing some other one if I find it entertaining enough. This one doesn't measure up.
There is no storyline here to speak of. You aren't even told where the supposed location of each scene is supposed to be like in other 'travel' games, no interesting facts about any of the locations. I guess because they're just (uninteresting) beach scenes?
I got bored pretty quickly, didn't finish the free trial although I did play longer than I wanted to hoping that it would get better.
I don't recommend this game.

I played through 7 levels/pictures to give this game a fair chance before reviewing. The segments that you currently need to colour are grey so whether or not I could see the numbers didn't even matter. Some of the segments were difficult to find (so tiny) but there seems to be an unlimited # of hints to help with that and no penalties involved so you can take advantage of them whenever the need arises. You can't accidentally colour an area you're not supposed to either so no stress involved at all, just relaxing play. To me it was much like a hidden object game, just searching for those grey segments and clicking, clicking, clicking. I found that too boring for me, not a type of game I like to play.
I can't, in good faith, not recommend this game only because it's not for me. There's nothing technically wrong with it and the pictures and colours are very nice. Other reviewers that like this genre gave it a high rating so if you like paint-by-number games I definitely recommend you give this one a try.
I recommend this game!
