Wasn't sure about this game at first because the goals aren't clear and a lot of the yellow monsters look alike until you get used to them, but after getting through the limited moves level I was hooked. I'm stuck on level 14 but will have to keep trying.
As with several other series of games, by various developers, I found the first is a permanent favourite, the second I didn't like, and the third is another favourite - in spite of a couple of occasional bugs like the tasks in the top right corner showing a couple of blocks left when actually they are all cleared, and the house ornament buying screen sometimes not working. Both these problems sort themselves out at the second attempt. I like to play in limited move mode, even if it's costing me so much in extra moves it looks as though I'll have to replay half the game to buy the last item!
I won't be buying this, as I bought Space Mahjong. This seems to be just the same with different tiles, and I also have other flowery Mahjong games, but it does deserve 5 stars!
Rather disappointed by this - much as I love the Laruaville series I would have liked another Cursed House. Both series are very original and fun but Cursed House has so much more variety.
Instructions are minimal - even though I've played the hour trial and bought the game I'm still not sure I understand all the possibilities, but it's certainly something a bit different, and could get quite addictive.
Love the mix of increasingly challenging solitaire and little "bonus" levels of an unusual kind of match 3 - can swap without making a match, but at the moment I seem completely stuck on level 6-8
OK it's probably not a game you'd want to play for long at a time but after around level 15 you do need to use a certain amount of logic, and it's good fun when you get an unexpectedly long chain reaction. Well worth using a free credit - especially on a bonus punch Monday
Based on the completed game By the same devs as Funny Pets, which I love. This is a swap match 3 - Funny Pets is chain matching. There is a relaxed mode but I like limited moves. In these levels I don't mind waiting for tiles to stop cascading as it is necessary to think about the next move, but there is an occasional timed level which does seem rather unfair! Best thing is the variety of bonuses - bombs, lightning, cross blasts, extra moves or time, plus hammer and shuffle powerups. So far I've only had to switch to relaxed mode for level 106 and the last level - 120, but it is possible to replay any level and I'll keep trying. Like Funny Pets this game loads and exits without showing the name of the developers, but whoever you are - more please!
