This was one of the best adventure games I've played. Great graphics, music and storyline. Very atmospheric, a game to lose yourself in. The storyline was interesting, moving and unfolded logically, never losing track. There were several moments that were so startling, I genuinely jumped! Two maps made finding your way around and knowing what to do fun instead of frustrating. I'm glad there is a sequel. Highly recommended.

Wow, is this game fun! You have to have a dark sense of humor. You play a goldfish, then a dolphin, then a shark, who escape to the sea and eat, well, everything and everybody, getting bigger and bigger as they do. I'm a real animal lover, so it wasn't the most fun for me eating the penguins, etc. But I loved eating the swimmers, helicopters, nuclear submarines etc. That was hilarious. It is really about survival though, as you end up eating what was just trying to eat you. The water effects are very realistic and it is very fun playing the water creatures. I wasted a lot of time making mine break through the surface, dive around, or go in circles. It was fun. The developers are making some points here which people will either understand or not. I played this game in one day, which I never do. When you finish the main game, bonus challenge levels are unlocked, which I am thoroughly looking forward to. Fun fun fun!

Compared to Sparkle 2, I found this game irritating. It isn't different enough from earlier Sparkle games other than being more frustrating. I hate the chained marbles and the stone marbles; they really make the game a slog. The survival levels are also just annoying, and I enjoyed them in Sparkle 2. I also find the same bugginess as in earlier Sparkle games when your marbles are nearing the hole, if you try to shoot, your launcher just keeps switching colors. Very irritating when you are about to lose! I played my way through the whole game, but I won't be very interested in another Sparkle unless they change it up and make it more fun next time.

The different aspect to this Match 3 game is that it requires certain types of patterns to be matched within a certain number of turns for you to pass the level. You don't have to get them all to pass, necessarily. But there are some problems with this setup. The patterns are so similar that you can't tell the difference between them. Also, the game does not provide you the patterns and matches necessary to succeed. There is a store where you can get powerups that don't seem to help, and a ridiculous slot machine that is even less help. I hate games that seem designed to make you fail and leave you feeling frustrated. This game is one of them. There is no payoff of success and fun. I hate it.
I don't recommend this game.

I like the music and some of the backgrounds and tiles for this Mahjong game. What I don't like is the fact that most of the layouts are made by other players online. To put it frankly, they aren't any good. They're not clever, most of them are super easy or super hard, and just look like a big pile of tiles. They're hard to play and hard to win. I'm not into interacting with other players or making my own layouts. Overall, this is an irritating version of Mahjong to me. Not very interesting and not much fun.

This is a bright colored, fast playing Match 3 that is very fun. There's not much of a story but I prefer Match 3s not to have one. Basically you are saving sea creatures and cleaning up the ocean. The power ups are easy to charge up and the boards are easy to clear. You can change from swap to chain to group during gameplay, which I really like. I never find myself getting bored or frustrated during this great little game.

This game has nice graphics like the first Drawn game, but frankly, after suffering through two whole Drawn games, I'm over it. These games are tedious, illogical, and frustrating. The story is boring. The hints are annoying, not helpful. And that morose little girl gives me the creeps. Remind me again why I'm trying to save her? If all you care about is graphics, you might like this game. If you want an engaging story with fun puzzles, I can't recommend it.
I don't recommend this game.

I liked this game but it had some big drawbacks. For one thing, it is really buggy even after being reinstalled. The sound doesn't always work and there are often tiny crosshatch lines in the graphics. I thought the setting in ancient China was really interesting, but felt the story devolved into typical fantasy fare as you go underwater and into a fantasy world dealing with spirits etc. Some of the scenes were really beautiful and some were just average: very uneven quality. One of my biggest irritations was how fast the cut scenes flashed by. There is no voice over so you have to read them. I am a very fast reader, but I could not always read them, so I missed some of the details of the story. I have never seen cut scenes flash by so fast! Usually I'm getting bored or skipping them, but I was lucky to even get the gist of these. The English was also bad and strange terms were used in the HOs (have fun looking for "numachukas"). I would recommend the game because I did enjoy aspects of it, but only as a free or sale selection.

This is the best adventure HOG I've played. It's genuinely intriguing and VERY creepy. I was also glad not to be trying to save my sister, or fiance, or cousin, or whoever, for once. I loved the murky, atmospheric scenery, but could have done without the decayed corpses and dismembered dolls' heads, myself. I particularly enjoyed the boat rides through the moonlit water. The tasks were logical and the story unfolded well; it makes me realize how few games progress without making me grow impatient with their lack of logic and originality. The voice acting was excellent, as was the ethereal soundtrack. There is a match 3 alternative to the hidden objects scenes, which I only switched to if I absolutely could not find something. I skipped some mini games, but not all of them, and I generally dislike mini games, anyway. Overall, I absolutely loved this awesome game. I would definitely recommend it unless you have a problem with the creepy factor.

I have the original Sparkle, and I much prefer Sparkle 2. The colors and graphics are improved, the marbles are bigger, and they have also added some fun new powerups. The music is engaging and the storyline is minimal but this is a marble popper, so too much story would be a hindrance. I didn't play any other game but this one until I'd gone through the whole quest and now I'm working my way through the survival levels. One of the best marble poppers I've played.
