I was very disappointed in this game. I expected it to be very different, and it was. The graphics are beautiful. However, the story is not that engaging and the gameplay is so idiosyncratic that most of the time I could not figure out what to do. I was constantly resorting to the Hint feature, which takes FOREVER to charge back up, and often tells you to do something you've already done. Maddening! I was also always going to the walkthrough until I was totally bored with trying to figure out the stupid game. The skip feature on the mini games takes forever too, AND I hated the mini games! The whole game is just too slow, and I don't play games to sit there waiting for the hint to recharge, or to sit there waiting for each and every scene to reload -- every single time!! "Loading .....loading..." Every time! What a waste. If it weren't for the graphics, I would say I hated this game.
I don't recommend this game.

I loved the atmosphere in this game, especially the water. The story was interesting and I just loved the creepy feel of the settings. I felt the story unraveled a bit towards the end as you found out why everything was happening, but endings aren't really a big deal for me in games. The game kept me interested the whole time and I would recommend it.
I recommend this game!

This game has some very pretty graphics and some very pretty music. And that's about it. (Plus some of the music and graphics were awful.) I normally like this type of fairytale story with a woodland setting, but this game just did not engage me. I just could not get into it. It's one of the only games I've played where I thought, this would be better for kids, except for some of the creepier elements. The story was boring to me, the objects and tasks didn't make much sense, and some of the graphics were very awkward looking. It's a disappointment.
I don't recommend this game.

I thought this was a good game, but there were several elements that got on my nerves. First, the concept of the Dorian Gray Syndrome. I am very familiar with the story of The Picture of Dorian Gray, and I am still at a loss as to how this guy wearing a mask compared with Dorian Gray. "Oscar" never shows any desire to transfer his evil to anyone or anything else. I also thought that, although there were many hints and scenes obliquely referring to Oscar's tortured youth, there weren't enough details to fill in the blanks as to why he had become what he had. On the other hand, there was way too much going back and forth and WAY too much of Oscar's one-sided conversations with Sam: "Sam, I've always meant to ask you, do you think art is important?" "Sam, you'd better hurry, you're running out of time," "Sam, no one was ever nice to me, so I have preserved this victim for eternity..." blah blah blah To be fair, you can turn him off.
I did love the fact that this game was different, and the graphics and music were excellent. I also found Oscar's "art" genuinely creepy, and there were several moments that actually startled me. I'm not sure why I bought the Collector's Edition, but by the end of the main part of the story, I had had enough of Oscar and I did not play the bonus chapter. I would recommend this game, but if I had it to do over again, I would turn the voice off once I had the gist of Oscar's personality.
I recommend this game!

I really enjoyed this game. The story was original and interesting, and I didn't lose track of why I was doing anything, which is my biggest complaint about this type of game. I never got impatient with the cut scenes and I was glad there were no voiceovers. I loved the graphics and music. There was too much back and forth for me and I would have loved an interactive map, but that's a minor complaint. The game kept my interest to the end and I had fun the whole time.
I recommend this game!

I can't even remember why I bought this game. The storyline and the setting are very murky. The HO scenes are hideously ugly and if you can even remember why you are looking for anything, you're doing better than I did. Some of the later scenes are impressively atmospheric, but for the most part, this game made me feel claustrophobic and bored. I was glad when I got to the ending, which was rushed and ludicrous.
I don't recommend this game.

I loved the graphics and music for this game. I also loved that it was a little easier than many games and was logical. What I didn't like was that halfway through, you start going through the same scenes again, then a character says you don't have to do that anymore, and it rushes to the end. But overall I found it much more enjoyable than most of the hidden object/adventure games and would recommend it for those who enjoy woodland/fairyland stories.
I recommend this game!

I like a lot of games with old school graphics, but not this one. Hidden object scenes were very hard to make out and the game did not respond to clicking on the correct object. (I finally figured out to click slightly to the left of the tiniest objects.) The mini games had no explanations as to what to do. I personally find that very tedious and frustrating, as I am not a big fan of mini games anyway and often skip them. In this game you are penalized for clicking too much and for skipping mini games. I thought the storyline was dorky and stupid. Can't understand all the rave reviews for this game.
I don't recommend this game.

This game lulled me into liking it at first with its beautiful graphics and music, then lulled me to sleep with its incredibly stupid, boring storyline. The tasks are illogical and I hated most of the mini games. The skip feature takes FOREVER to charge up. Why do developers think we have to EARN the right to skip a stupid mini game? The voice acting is awful. This game give you that "is it over yet?" feeling. Hated it.
I don't recommend this game.

I wish I had tried Alice Greenfingers much sooner. I like it a lot better than Ranch Rush and other timed farming games. I love farming games but I sometimes get sick of being timed and pressured and having to earn the right to play relaxing free play if I want to, if that's even an option. Alice Greenfingers is simple, cute and fun. The graphics are very pretty and simple, which suits this type of game. The music is very pleasant and does not get old or irritating. There is no storyline. You have your farm and you do whatever you want to, selling fruits and vegetables at the market. You need to pay attention to the current market values of each item or they won't sell. You can also have various animals and then field offers for eggs, milk etc. As usual, more items become available as the game progresses and you earn trophies for various achievements. You also have different levels such as Health, Wealth and Popularity. This game is so enjoyable, without any of the annoying little gimmicks or characters that are often in this type of game. I also like that the animations of Alice are very fast and not "over-animated"; in other words, it doesn't take her 10 seconds to plant each seed. I find myself playing for a long time. On a side note, if you like the gardening part of Wandering Willows, you will probably like this game.
I recommend this game!
