The idea is that the murderous arson suspect lost his way because of his misguided jealousy. I wanted justice, but instead we're running around trying to prove that his girlfriend was faithful. But misogynistic story lines aside, the game was fun and the puzzles were interesting. The map was very helpful in finding the next step. I recommend playing the game for those reasons, just don't expect it to wrap up nicely in the end, I guess her sister was freed and the two were reunited? We'll never know....
Islanders are here again! Become part of a new adventure and help the shaman get his true appearance back! Follow them in a fascinating journey through time and make new friends!
I have this on my iPad but had to comment to say how much I love the Island Tribe series! And this one is the best yet! It manages to change the mission just enough to make it interesting without sacrificing the perfect TM game play. The little characters are adorable, and if you don't find all those pieces of relics the first time it's still fun to replay. I hope the developers continue on, I am looking forward to Island Tribe 5!
And I mean "longest game ever" in a bad way. About halfway through I could not WAIT for it to end. I really should have played more before I bought it, but since I bought it I insisted on finishing it. The time limit seemed arbitrary, whether or not you got 3 stars depended on whatever predetermined time was set as opposed to strategy. Also there were long periods of doing nothing while waiting for resources to build enough to feed whatever plant or robot you encountered.
Then at the end they had the nerve to trap you in the credits with no way out! This one was no fun!!
You've returned from school to visit your father at his famous Jazz Pepper Club during Mardi Gras, but everyone is hypnotized. Have they heard the wrong note?
If I had 10 thumbs, I'd give the soundtrack 10 thumbs up. This is an awesome game with creative puzzles, a storyline that keeps you interested, and the best music I've ever heard in a game!

This is my favorite Dark Parables so far. The graphics in the series have gradually become less gaudy and more realistic, and this game was a nice step forward. The storyline moved enough that the hidden object scenes and puzzles didn't become too trivial. The plot was lengthy, and it was nice to see a story about a grown-up Jack.
You're on a train in the middle of nowhere, and a band of dangerous thieves demand you tell them where to find the Hope Diamond's shards. As the newest Hidden Expedition recruit, you've got to find the shards before they do...X
What a fun game! The storyline was full of humor and interesting facts. The puzzles and HO scenes were beautiful with just the right amount of difficulty. I felt like I was in an action movie while I played. Some games let you drown in ridiculous HO scenes while you forget what the plot even was. This was like a movie, with puzzles and hidden objects thrown in. My new favorite game!
Island Tribe 1 through 4 are available on iPad and I have to say, they're the most fun TM games I've played! I keep playing others to keep from beating these and always have to come back.
Fantasy storylines in made-up worlds irk my soul, but I put up with it for the sake of the puzzles and graphics. Both were excellent! The game play is long, very long, with such a tedious storyline I was starting to think I was never leaving that castle. But puzzles for the win.
This is a great game if you don't like the typical TM genre. However if you do, this game is a giant pain in the rear. I love getting things done logically in a specific amount of time. This on the other hand, was like a more aggravating form of Tetris. If you got to the last required building and you had no where to put it, you were forced to remove tons of buildings and rearrange them in order to make it fit. Which is made difficult by the fact that some buildings need others, so if you delete one, you can't erect the other.
The storyline is fun and comical! And I tried, but I couldn't finish the game. I deleted it and moved on to my tried and true TM games.
This is the typical witch tale, but the game is very well done. I liked the music, the HO scenes were fun and interactive, no junk piles, and nicely spaced throughout the game. I felt like this game had balance, the perfect mix of puzzles, HO and adventure.
