The storyline is the usual prince and princess with a little bit of humor. This is an older game so the animations and graphics are a little dated. There's less clicking than with some TM games because the resources are collected automatically, but they are collected very slowly. Which is good if you don't like all the clicking, but I felt like it gave me less control over what and when I was collecting. There's also less of an opportunity to play with multiple men because if you update your house too quick you will end up stuck. All together it was a little too slow-paced for me, but if you're looking for a TM road-building game I'd give it a try.
There is really no point to this game, there's no strategy, no real goal to achieve. You basically feed the dragons and collect gems. But for kids I can see how it might be fun.
I can't understand why games with such great graphics and puzzles and HO scenes need so badly to have such an evil storyline. And dead bodies popping out at every turn? It was a little overkill (literally).
If you're a fan of the creepy games, this is for you. Everything about it was great except for the unnecessary scare factor.
Yup... hidden "gem"... I know. It was a fun little game though. The HOs were all items relevant to the story.. find this many pipes, find that many twigs, etc. I enjoy adventure more than HO so that was a nice change. The puzzles were hit or miss, some were fun, but most were the old-school frustratingly tedious type. The skip worked pretty quickly on whichever difficulty I played on (I don't remember) so I skipped about half of them.
The storyline was different! There's a twist that you won't expect out of these types of games... nicely done!
I really enjoyed this game, it was very similar to Song of the Phoenix with fun interactive HO scenes. The graphics were beautiful, no over the top scary scenes, and the extra bonus chapter was long and added just enough to the end. My only complaint was that the sound was obviously on a loop, and would audibly stop and start over again, with every single scene. For a game to be this well-made I found that a little odd, but otherwise very good game.
I must admit, I'm not a fan of "spooky" games. I'm not sure why I went ahead with this one, the graphics for one were amazing and it seemed innocent enough.
The most disappointing to me was the lack of effort put into the HO scenes. You can switch to Match 3, which I'm guessing is the point, but if you enjoy HO scenes you will be finding the exact same items repeated over and over in each scene. Sometimes upon return you'll have to find the same object twice! The scenes themselves were beautiful, bright and vivid, as was the rest of the game. The cutscenes were like a movie, and the storyline was interesting and different.
I will not be playing the next in the installment but mainly because spooky isn't my thing.
The graphics were great, the puzzles were great, the HO scenes were typical, but I don't have much more to say other than it was an incredibly weird and creepy game. I'm not into macabre stories or an overabundance of ick but I bought this because the beginning started out innocent enough. Soon after however was what I can only describe as... weird and creepy. I finished it as quickly as possible so I could move on.
I enjoyed the game, however I don't understand the 5 star rating. The combination of real actors and computer generated graphics was odd. Most of the graphics were good, realistic, but the HO scenes were terrible! There were only a handful that weren't completely washed out. The map was very helpful in determining the next task, an ability to jump from scene to scene would have been helpful though. The storyline was exceptional for an HO/adventure game, I highly recommend it for that alone.
What a delightful departure from the usual HO game. The scenery was beautiful, the storyline was unique and quite brilliant when you think about it... people trapped in an alternate universe throughout different periods of time, without recollection of their ancestors arriving to the planet.
The cutscenes were informative, the story progressed logically, and most of all the game play was so original. This is perfect for the adventure fan, even the HO scenes are more adventure than HO. I found this to be of a higher standard than most games... wish there were more like this!
I recommend this game!

Legends of Atlantis: Exodus
Atlantis is facing its end of days and it's up to you to save the people and their kingdom in this innovative and exciting time management game!
TM road-building game reminiscent of Roads of Rome, but with the all important option of pre-clicking tasks instead of waiting until a worker is free. The static graphics are excellent, colorful and very detailed, although the workers running around look clumsy and awkward. The mini match 3 and HO scenes were a nice bonus, and relevant to the game as the HO scenes gave you extra power ups. The storyline was cute and often humorous, and I enjoyed the dialogue before the episode started.
