I was a beta tester on this game and loved it then. So I decided to purchase the CE (which I don't often do) and I was not disappointed. This game has everything: a good story line, variety of hidden objects; challenging mini-games and of course a bonus section. Then if you collect all the puzzle pieces and morphing objects you get two more games to play.
Match 3's are one of my favorite games, but not this one. There are no instructions but the idea is that you are to restore these islands by matching colorful fruit, uncovering totems and eliminating monsters. There are three modes of play: limited moves, limited time, or relaxed. In the first 20 levels you need to "win" 2 games to upgrade an island. In the next set after 20 you need to win 3 games (gain 3 stars) to upgrade the island again, and so on. I really becomes very boring.
Great game as always. If you are not familiar with this series, several ghosts tell the story and build a city. There is a big book that will explain all the functions of the game. There are also levels of solitaire and find the difference between pictures. However, the best new feature is in the bonus section that is split into two parts. The first 21 you play against the Pharaoh and in the second 21 you have to make sure you do not eliminate the black coin. These are challenging and fun.
This is a long SE game with a lot going on. I really liked the variety of hidden object games from silhouettes to move one item to find another. The mini games were pretty standard, i.e. place an object in its appropriate place by color. My only complaint is that there was a lot of back and forth -- hence the 4 rating.
A mysterious plague casts a dark shadow on the people of Persia. The young apothecary Tara must discover the cause of the illness before it's too late!

I am giving it four instead of a five because I thought this was more of an adventure story rather than a hidden object game. For me there was too much talking. However, the graphics were beautiful and you were an apothecary gathering items to make certain potions. The mini-games were mostly easy but I didn't care for the battles over and over again.
I have played all Grim Façade games and I especially liked this one for the variety of mini-puzzles -- some you could reset, others you had to just figure them out. I also liked the maze and picking up objects to help. The story was kind of convoluted but it tied up nicely at the end.
I really enjoyed the hidden objects and puzzles. In the hidden objects you either had to match two alike objects, or find them and then use then to find another or make something. The graphics are quite good.
Based on the first 20 levels. I am playing "Normal" which gives you a limited number of moves. At the beginning this game seems rather easy as all the power ups are on the board. As explained by others, 4 match gives you bombs; five a rocket and six lightening. After level 15 the game becomes more involved and you need to think about how many moves you have and how many "guests". I happen to like Roka games and highly recommend this one.
I have played all these games and this one has some new features -- fighting the Zombies -- you have to be quick or you lose. The solitaire is up/down as before and seems a little easier as there are more helpers in the actual level. There is also a puzzle which I enjoyed -- reform the picture with clear instructions -- going to play again and chose the riddle or question.
