I have to tell you, this was an excellent SE. I can't believe it had most all the qualities of a CE, which I never buy. There are things to collect and even a bonus chapter. Goes to show they can do whatever they want if they want to do it.
Now on with the review.
The fun was there. I really enjoyed the cut scenes and voice overs. Great job there. The game kept my interest and was fun to play.
The graphics are really good. Some of the hidden object scenes were a bit dark, but not impossible to see eventually, especially with that little hint button. The sound was fantastic. Music was good and didn't on my nerves like some.
The hidden object games are pretty simple. There were some objects I had to really look for or even use the hint button, which does charge fairly fast. However, saying that, they made up for the ease of the hidden objects, with the mini games. I am not a mini game person. I guess I either don't have the patience or intelligence to figure them out, but I did find them challenging and even skipped some.
I mentioned the hint button which was a great help, but the Mr. Map will be your best friend. I normally try to wonder around on my own, but this is so back and forth you will need to use the map to figure out what to do and refer to the journal often.
The story was good, not exceptional, but enough that I wanted to find out what happened next. I can't wait to play it again and see if I get more out of it.
If you like a nice game to pass the time away with great graphics, sound and the qualities of a collector's edition, I do believe you will like this game.
Okay, I'm a sucker, but I like this series. Elizabeth gets me every time. This game is the continuation of the Legacy, but it isn't necessary for you to have played the other to catch up, because this gives you a synopsis of the previous game. Don't ask me why, but I just enjoy these games.
The graphics aren't quite what we have come to expect from the designers these days and some might call them sub-par, but they were good enough for me. The Hidden Objects are clear, the scenes are pretty in an evil sort of way, the music isn't boring or irritating as some and goes along with the story. The voice overs are well done and a good attempt was made to lip sync the voices.
Challenge wise, this like the other is not a hard game. Maybe that's why I like it. The Hidden Objects are easy with a few difficult ones stuck in there for good measure. There is a match 3 game along with the Hidden Objects in case you get tired of searching or get stuck. It was kind of fun in itself. The mini games ranged from really easy to "where's the skip button." Some I just simply did not understand what I had to do. They are ones we have seen before, but presented in a different way. There is the Imp who is helpful in certain circumstances and the interactive map is a savior.
The story is really good. I got into the story from the very beginning not realizing it was a love story with a twist. That caught me by surprise, but I'm easily surprised. You can read what Big Fish has to say about the story on your own. I don't need to rehash it here.
All in all, if you want a game that doesn't use all your grey matter to play and an interesting story, I think you will like it.
Blue Tea has another great game on their hands. I don't think I'm going to buy the CE and will wait what seems like eternity for the SE, but it is a great game.
I don't know how to express the fun factor except to say I was rushing the clock to get as much in as possible before the demo was up. It is great fun like all the others I own.
The graphics and sound are awesome as usual. The hidden objects were extremely clean and clear and they've added a new touch to those assembled object games. The voice overs are well done and keep you wondering what's going to happen next. Backgrounds are very well done. The music and effects go along with the game and are not boring nor irritating.
The challenge is there. You have your hidden objects which are always fun and I even liked the mini games, even though I did skip one or two to save time. They will keep you on your toes. I just love this series and can't wait for the next one.
The story is really good thus far and can't see it but getting better as one advances in the game. I won't go into the story. Big Fish does a great job of that, but I will say it is nice to have a male in there for a change. Jack is really a man's man and with the help of the detective I'm sure he will solve everything. Well, I hope he does. Can't wait to see. Come on SE!!
While this is only based on an hour's worth of play I can tell it is the same quality game as those before it. This will be one of those you play over and over again. Either get the CE with the morphing objects (I always forget about) and the other goodies that come with it, or wait for the SE. Either way don't miss out on the fun.

I was reluctant to purchase this after just playing the Demo, but I'm glad I did. This game gave me several hours of fun, excitement and frustration, but isn't that why we play these silly things.
I did enjoy playing. There were times I wondered, but after I got into it, the story, HIdden Objects and Mini games I really liked it and found it fun.
The graphics are very good. Some were a bit cartoon in nature, but all in all they were very well done. The Hidden Objects were clear for the most part and the rest of the graphics were very clear and rather enjoyable. The sound was extremely good. I enjoyed the music and the voice overs were well done. I know we are getting spoiled with moving lips which this does not have, but they were good and clear.
The Hidden Objects ran from easy to, "I can't find the blessed thing!" They were well drawn, but some were very difficult to find and Mr. Hint came in very handy. There were several different kinds of Hidden Objects to find which made it even more interesting. The only difficulty I found with them were the repeats. Several times in the same scene you had to look for the same objects with a new one thrown in for good measure. That was disappointing, but not a game breaker. The mini games also ranged from extremely easy to hard as the devil, but that gave a little bit for everybody.
There is a map that does allow for transport around the area, but of little help otherwise. I used the hint if I couldn't figure out what to do or where to go and it refills very quickly, which is another plus in my book.
The story was a bit difficult for me to grasp at first. I kept thinking it was going to have something to do with one thing, but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The story flowed well and kept its continuity to the ultimate conclusion.
I think you will enjoy this game. I purchased it in quandary, but I am so glad I did.

This game is too much fantasy for me. I just don't care for that type of game. Having said that, this game is well done. No, it wan't fun for me, but you need to try it yourself to see how it fits you.
The graphics and sound, especially the voice overs were great. The Hidden Object Scenes were clear and the objects for the most part easy to see. The music I really didn't pay much attention to, so it must not have been bad.
The Hidden Objects were easy and of the mini games I played one was very simple, one was kind of tough and the last I ended up skipping simple because I didn't want my time to be wasted on one element of the game. So the level of challenge I would say was for a beginner. It would be a pretty good game for someone like my granddaughter. The map is helpful and the hint button refills quickly. All you have to do is figure out what to do in the scene and you have it made.
I don't know much about the story line other than what is mentioned in the description by Big Fish. I didn't get far enough into the game to tell if the story line fit.
This is a clean game with good graphics and excellent sound, but just too much fantasy for me. I'll not be purchasing it, but I do recommend it for those who do enjoy this type of game.
Jack's fiancée Emily was kidnapped by mysterious scientist! Can you unravel the mystery of the secret bunker and save Emily before she is used in dangerous experiments?
This is being posted after playing the Demo Version. I only got about 45 minutes of the 60, but that was enough to make an assessment of the game.
There really was no fun to this game. From the very beginning to when the demo ended, it was obvious this was not the usual level of games normally offered by Big Fish. I was really surprised it made it to the distribution level. It was just a bunch of jumping around with no sense as to what was suppose to be happening.
The sound was okay, but the figures were like a bad cartoon in their movement and voice overs. The music and sound effects were fine.
Hidden Objects were good. Somethings were just impossible to find without the help of the hint button. They were clear, but some of the objects were just not visible enough to see. I only got to play a couple mini games and they were old. Connect the pipes and another that we see all the time in other games.
The story had some great possibilities and perhaps if one got more into the game it would become better, but from what I experienced, it just wasn't there.
I don't like to write negative reviews, because I know there was a lot of hard work that went into making this, but this one needs to go back to the drawing board and start over.
The mystical Silver Arrow has been stolen from you on the eve of your wedding. Without it, you can’t marry your beloved Prince Philip! Can you track down the arrow in time?
Yep, I knew I was in trouble when I put my name in as the player and it came up, "Princess Patrick." That was a good for a laugh or two around the homestead.
This is posted after playing the complete game.
I was a bit surprised by the game. It is fantasy, but aren't they all, So far as fun, it was ok. I wasn't all that excited about it, but the game didn't bore me to death. It was kind of fun to me.
The graphics and sound were well done. The voices very easy to understand and the music was .... interesting and kept with the action. Hidden objects were difficult for me. They were well done and clear, but the designers did a great job in hiding things.
The Hidden Objects Scenes were harder to me than the mini games. I normally don't waste too much time on the minis, because I don't like them, but these, I could do and skipped very few. This kind I like. The Hidden Objects varied in what you did. Some were hunt and find, others placing objects where they belong, and one that really got me, were pairing various objects by association. Those were challenging. I suppose they could be classified as mini games. The map was extremely helpful as was the hint button which recharged very quickly.
The story of Princess Patrick, and the Prince was interesting enough to keep my interesting. I won't go into the story description. Big Fish does a great job at that, but let me say, it was a story worth telling.
A personal side note, I must be the only male to play games. Seems like they are all geared toward women with just a few exceptions. Come on designers... Princess Patrick indeed!
You're on a train in the middle of nowhere, and a band of dangerous thieves demand you tell them where to find the Hope Diamond's shards. As the newest Hidden Expedition recruit, you've got to find the shards before they do...X
I have been waiting for this to come out in the SE version ever since I looked at the CE. I have to say I was not disappointed. It was everything it was cracked up to be and then some. It was not only fun to play, but educational along the way. I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spend playing.
The visuals were really good and the voice overs were almost like you would see in a cartoon. Almost lip sync. The graphics were beyond reproach. The hidden objects were clear, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were easy to fine by any means.
The challenge was excellent. Even I enjoyed the mini games, so that means they were easy or well explained. As I said the hidden objects were really clear but they did an excellent job hiding things. Also, they had all sorts of hidden objects within the same scene. Not seen much of that or at least as well thought out. The hint button does a great job helping and is quick to recharge. Didn't get lost not one time, which is amazing for me. There is a inter-active map which was pretty helpful in itself.
I did have a little problem following the story a bit though. I wouldn't say I was lost, but I eventually caught up with myself. Next time I play it I'll pay more attention.
All in all this is one of the better games to come out here lately. It was different in the way it presented hidden objects and mini games. It was professionally made and I give it my seal of approval. Wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
I recommend this game!

Fall of the New Age
Help Marla uncover the secret conspiracy of the Cult and release her brother from captivity!
I have to say, this was the worse game I have ever purchased and I have bought a lot of games. It simply was not fun at all. There was nothing to the game. I ran out of time on the demo to really get the feel of the game, so after reading some of the reviews, I went ahead and bought it. Wish now I had saved my credit for something worthwhile.
The graphics were excellent and the voice overs were very good and clear.
The hidden objects were clear and the games were varied. That was the plus. The mini games, were either impossible for me to understand what I had to do or were just too hard. It took me the longest time to figure out how to use the lock picks. I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the box, but I'm not really all that stupid either. The hidden objects were really interesting and the level of challenge varied with then. Some were challenging some were very simple. With the variety of hidden object scenes, it did keep me interested.
The story line.. um, what story? This was really sadly done. It had the chance to be a really good game, but if they left the ending as they did for a sequel, I'm afraid they will have some problems selling that one.
This one needs to go back and start over. The basics were there, but that's about it. I can't in a clear conscience cannot recommend this game.
This is a hidden object not an adventure game whatsoever. If you like this type of game you will love it. There are numerous hidden object scenes and a few mini games. So far as being fun, I have to say I was glad it was over. There is a journal and a map. Neither one gave much help in figuring out where to go next. The map was good for navigation and that was about it. The ending just about drove me crazy(ier). I simply could not figure out what to do and the help button kept sending back to where I just left. Oh yes, there is a wonderful help button that refills in about a minute. I used it to navigate from place to place rather than rely on my memory or the map. It does a good job heading you in the right direction.
The graphics are fantastic and the sound is good, but the effects grated on my nerves and I turned them and the music down. The voice overs were just a bit difficult to understand. But being ghosts what would you expect. All in all the visuals are clear and well done.
The hidden objects varied from extremely easy to where in the world is it all in the same scene. I don't think I used the hint on any of the hidden objects, so you know they were nice and clean. The mini games were okay, but they were about the same as you would see in any of these games. To be quite honest I skipped most of them. Just not a mini game person, but the ones I did play were challenging enough for me.
The story is like many others. You have until the eclipse to set the world right. I can't say the story kept my interest, but it was acceptable. It isn't one that reached out and grabbed me like some.
If you like hidden objects like I do, you are really going to like this game. I bought it after playing the demo, but I do like a bit of adventure to go along with my search.
