Story is all over the place and familiar concepts from other productions popped up in this one. I understand license in fantasy and/or other worldly realms, but some of the concepts in these scenarios were just bizarre and wacky.
Graphics and characters were well crafted. Voice overs mostly mature and realistic. Attire fit the story and attention to detail, even if weird, was nicely fashioned. Scene were bizarre with a jumble of items.
First, I dislike back and forth games. Second, I find traders annoying, a waste of time and over used by lazy developers, especially when a game could move forward without this constant distraction.
At the start of the game a big tornado is on the way. Of course, the ZIPPER breaks; call it a day on this overused task! Storm is letting up so Astrid and Lynn need to get to the top of a mountain. Don’t know if it was a pun or not but the next inventory item was a BROOM! Yeah, right, would love to ride a cable car with a tornado gaining force! Whiny, needy Lynn, who possesses powers, makes Astrid do all the work, because she is weakened by her amulet power? AMULET power again, old overused concept! Once the amulet is complete, the mayor appears in it and tells them to come to his house and to use the cable car. Before they can use it, of course, it needs repairs. Once at the mayor’s house they find him sitting on a huge antler chair wearing an antler helm with a snifter of brandy in his hand and he tells Astrid to put Lynn on his throne. Since when do mayors have thrones? That was enough for me, but I trudged forward. The mayor whisks the Lynn away to return her to her real father. Then, oh lucky me, a story book hidden object game pops up to share more backstory, okay not so bad. But, now Astrid has to make a glider and fly off the mountain in the middle of a tornado to rescue Lynn! Wonderful! Upon landing, a school bus is tottering on the very edge of a devastated freeway and a huge beached ocean liner sits to the right. Really? Mayor isn’t happy and blasts away with his super powers and the bus falls in front of Astrid and the windows are barred? Ever see a school bus with barred windows? Astrid enters the ocean liner and runs into the cranky trader again, now he wants something to drink for a trade. Just happens that inside the bus there is a bottle of soda, something from the past! If it was that old, will probably poison the trader! At this point, I gave up…didn’t finish it!
Mini games are lengthy and over abundant and really nothing new or exciting, shuffle, shuffle, turn and turn, find a way from one end to the other. Yawn! Hidden Object Games are average and nothing new with a bunch of stuff tossed in to fill up space. Some developers make a strong effort to use current content items in Hidden Object Games...not here!
I can't recommend this one other than suggest you give it a trial to see if you enjoy it.
I don't recommend this game.

Mostly music with minimal dialogue! Normally I turn down the music, but there wasn’t anything else so it would have been extremely boring without it.
This game is another creepy asylum theme with mostly muddy, often dark graphics. Inside it appears as a run-down asylum, yet on the outside it appears fresh and new. Story line makes little sense and the constant back and forth was annoying and boring.
I didn't find this game interesting enough to continue the trial. The constant use of the elevator sending you from one floor to another was overdone and just lazy development; this is definitely NOT a forward moving game. The horrible use of a dialogue box at the top of the screen to provide hints was even worse, so yeah I know that is what I need, but where is it? It was just a bumbling, poorly thought out development that I won't purchase or recommend other than suggest you give it a trial run and make your own decision.
I don't recommend this game.

Overall this was a delightful journey with a few bumps in the road. There were few surprises with this Alice theme, but it certainly felt like a compilation of a number of familiar stories and/or movie scripts. You know, you get pulled into their Wonderland world through your mirror and learn that many others before you failed to win the game. Now it’s up to you (the red queen) to battle a chess-related journey to beat the white queen in order to save yourself and their Wonderland world.
I’ve always been a fan of Bridge games, but this one went a bit off track with the Wonderland theme. I’ve save all the previous games to replay because of their quality. I know this development team is super creative, artistic and capable of much more and I hope they will take up the banner to bring us something new and innovative rather than familiar themes. Bridge to Another World has abundant possibilities and potential. There are other realms, dimensions as well as new worlds to create and explore through portals, gateways, star-gates and/or time travel, etc. Now anyone of those would be great fun!
I’ll buy this game, give it a high rating and recommend it based on the development, the move forward game play, the interesting tasks and the beautifully crafted hidden object games and even those pesky mini games (not a big fan).
Often I will overlook glaring missteps like the design and characterization of Humpy because of the exquisite quality of all the other aspects in a game. This game moved forward with ease and continued to maintain my interest and enjoyment.
The artwork and graphics are beautifully done and characters are well developed and attractive except that Humpy Dumpy guy was rather creepy and the boatman didn’t seem developed as well as the other characters. An older fisherman would have made a better fit; this guy just felt out of place for some reason. This is just nit-picking and not a big turnoff. Just a mention because not expected in this quality series.
Scenes were interesting with a number of tasks, hidden object games and mini games were all wonderfully crafted and designed with attention to detail.
At the end of the trial, the red queen (you) disguised as a white knight gets a ride with the fisherman to the white queen’s shore. No spoiler here, but the end of the trial left me wondering how in the world of wonder will I get out of this mess?!!! Good job with trial!
I recommend this game!

I couldn’t finish the trial. Worst game I’ve played in a while. Sloppy development and lack of attention to anything that would have made this interesting and new! Shades of Phantom of the Opera! Graphics were slipshod, some parts of a scene would be good and the rest looked like someone fell asleep, music was annoying and repetitive, characters were cartoon-like, and voice overs were child-like and poorly scripted. Hidden object games were interactive with a lot of guessing where to find the connecting part(s) and a responsive “clunk” would be heard when it wasn’t a right move. Mini games were poorly crafted and used old themes, remove all the gears and replace them then rotate a bunch of hexagonal pieces so the colors form a continuous line. Every item clicked on, whether in a scene or elsewhere, resulted in a “clunk” if incorrect or a “tinkle” sound if right, this is annoying. Also, typed dialogue changed using bright colors.
I don't recommend this game.

I gave this a trial run then purchased the SE based on that, but sadly this game failed to impress me as I continued to play. I can only recommend it if you are a fan of the series or just need to fill time. Nothing in the game propelled me to want to really move forward with it, more let’s just get it over with and toss it in the garbage bin.
The story is old and boring with lots of back and forth and sends you all over. A poor production in graphics, development, creativity and ingenuity! The game failed to offer any distinct differences or new innovation. However, it did have closure at the end which is a plus.
Graphics are average, voice overs mostly alright except for Fontainebleau and Pascal they were horrible, hire better voice actors. Script was boring, dialogue passable but nothing interesting
Multiple tasks that send you back and forth, some are interesting while others just…yawn!
Mini games are horrid either annoying, repetitive or more than one part…old, tired repeats. I usually give them a try, but after a few I just skipped them….nothing new. At each encounter with Fontainebleau a match game appears, need to use strategy how many to select and in what order and it repeats!
Hidden Object Games are dark and dreary and as a fan I didn’t really enjoy them. Some of them had objects in dark corners which is just lazy development and the undersea one was annoying the first time (timed) and seemed way too familiar in design
I don't recommend this game.

From the beginning this game seemed like developers picked up various scenes from other games and dumped them into this one.
The characters were okay, but as far as appearance, none seemed connected because attire varied drastically and the scenes appeared like a city dump site and offered no clue regarding a time element, appears to be in the future after a major catastrophe. Older guy wore a Sherpa bomber jacket, earrings and a tooth necklace, Lennart, the young man, opted to dress like a hung-over rock star and the girl only appeared in a corner box, so not sure what she was wearing.
Both Lennart and the girl sounded like child-like cartoon characters. Where are your adult voice-over actors? The older character did sound like an adult.
Hidden Object Games had no rhyme or reason why objects were tossed in there, just a bunch of junk really. Some variety but overly cluttered with objects
Mini games were old and annoying and when there was a three-part one said that was enough for me
Every time an ancient device was used a match game popped up, so tired and over used
Inventory objects were bizarre a bunny rabbit and package of chewing gum…gum was used to fill holes in a pipe.
Graphics were okay, sound and music okay, characters were not thought out and used poor voice overs, script was HORRID. When Lennart and the girl encounter a questionable character he asks….are you a ghost or are you just bored? Who wrote this, I could write a better script and story than what this offered so far
I’ve seen these scenes before, seen the devastated city and the over used frozen element. I almost quit after ten minutes but decided to see if the trial improved. It didn’t. I won’t buy this one and I won’t recommend it. You give it a trial run to see what you think.
I don't recommend this game.

I know there were some great reviews, but I agree to disagree.
Don’t know what happened with this developer but this was a boring trial. Short intro, car traveling down the road picks up girl hitchhiker who asks for a ride to a mansion and then disappears. Three days to live, he hears, abandoned cars along the road. Maybe turn around and get the heck out of there? Yeah, I would, no reason for him to visit the mansion since she is gone. Probably a poor choice but the story has to move somewhere, right! Have we seen this before?
The graphics are okay, the hidden object games varied, the mini games average. Graphics vary between good and okay, the sound/music turned down so you’ll have to make your own judgment call there. The hint transports and a good thing! The story doesn’t move forward smoothly, too much back and forth to connect objects, collect items and shuffle stuff around.
Characterization is from okay to good lacking depth or detail. The driver sounds like a teenager and the ghost girl has a lisp. The old lady lacks decent design crafting.
The trial didn’t interest me but I forced myself to finish it to give a fair evaluation, but everything in the game seemed sort of flat and something was missing. Been there, seen that before, don't want to waste my time. I really don’t care what happens to someone who is dumb enough to ignore dire warnings and really had no reason to go the mansion. So, I will not purchase this one but as always I suggest you give it a trial run before you purchase it.
I don't recommend this game.

Fast moving, forward advancing game with great characterization, exceptional graphic designs and first-rate hidden object and mini games. This game offered creativity, an interesting story, and enough interest in each scene to propel me to move on to the next one. I am a critical reviewer because I expect developers to step up to the plate and provide an interesting game that avoids tired old themes and the same old scenery and story that is far too familiar. Sadly there have been too many of these lately and the developers who try to step out of the box get kicked down pretty hard. I was surprised this one received such poor reviews. Maybe because it’s a little different ? But that is what I enjoyed. I hope to see more of this quality, innovation and creativity in future games. The story is fantasy and magic, the goal to save the world, return souls and “take care” of the bad guy, but what story isn’t...even in the real world? I’ll grant you this doesn’t offer an entirely new theme, but the way it was developed and crafted with graphic excellence and superb characterization and a script that used mature voice overs and well thought out dialogue proved a big step above what many other “top tier” developers have been offering lately. Good closure and potential opening for another episode? Wish I had purchased the CE. I’m giving this a 5! A solid, long game with interesting locales, well crafted scenery and solid story line. Please give this one a trial run to see what you think.
Graphics: First rate graphics, excellent attention to detail, texture and design
Sound/Music: Turned down, but appropriate to scenes
Characters: Most are superbly developed with great attention to appearances, attire and strong animation, even the 3-headed dog was well-crafted…drooling, snarling, red eyes
Hint: Transported to map
I really liked the little dragon in the beginning and was sorry to see that it didn’t return after completing a task
Voice Over: Excellent and varied, mature voices
Hidden Object Games: Exceptional design with a great focus on detail along with a lots of variety and well thought out selection of objects that fit into theme. Outstanding use of hidden object games to tell backstory as well as a few storybook themes that used finely drawn graphics with thought put into design
Mini Games: Varied in difficulty and time usage. Not a big fan of these, however, I found them attractive and well-designed and that pulled me into a few more than I usually attempt. I even enjoyed many of them, but I don’t have the patience or maybe the cognitive “cleverness” for those more challenging and/or time consuming. There will there be enough mini games to keep fans or non-fans amused or pulling out hair
I recommend this game!

I’m often surprised that a developer fails to give us one of their best shots during the introduction to the game. I don’t enjoy games with massive purple and pink focus or bright primary colors which this game contains in abundance. Also, this one has nothing new, innovative or different to offer. Same old repeated theme.
It starts with a storybook backstory, poorly designed with little attention to detail that in my opinion is lazy development. I want the introduction to pull me into the story and interest me to continue playing. This one didn’t and I was going to quit after 5 minutes, but I decided to give the trial a fair run.
For the most part graphics are poorly crafted and lack solid textural design but there are a few scenes with some good attention to detail. Inventory items were poorly designed as well. Some scenes are interesting and tasks are mostly simple: place items in slots, use designs to create equipment, etc.
The music was annoying and repetitive and had to turn it way down right away. An owl or some kind of bird continuously squawked during one scene.
Hidden Object Games required finding a part to complete something which was rather annoying if you can’t discern what you are searching for in the first place and I don’t like to waste time clicking on everything to find connections.
Mini games galore, too many in my opinion but you can use custom to skip them, from simple to repetitive to annoying. Better be able to memorize, know the zodiac and how primary colors are blended to create other colors. They use story book and slider themes, getting from one end of a location to another and some are two parts.
I did love the kitty and little bear which were the best design of the game, but that won’t redeem the rest of this poorly crafted, lazily developed game for me. I suggest you give it a trial run to see if you enjoy it. This one is not for me.
I don't recommend this game.

So nice to finally give a strong plus review. From the beginning, this story pulled me in and took me on an interesting journey…where will it take me? Don’t know, but I’m buying this one!
Graphics were created with attention to details. Characters were nicely done. Locales and scenes were filled with details and great décor. Even the first Hidden Object story book game was done well with only two items to locate, mostly easy to spot but some well-hidden, the second one not so great. Original style Hidden Object Games offered beautifully crafted designs, some interaction and some too well-hidden items. Inventory items made sense.
Mini Games were interesting and varied in design and difficulty, not a fan I skip them but at least I gave these a ballpark try.
Big Plus! This game wasn’t focused on numerous game fillers because it moved forward without constant interruptions. The story flowed, the dialogues/scripts were skillful and the voice overs were excellent. I even enjoyed the music and sounds.
I am going to give this a 4 based on my trial experience. I hope I can change that to a 5 after playing the full game and hope my continued experience will impress and not disappoint.
I recommend this game!
