Note: If you are playing on Custom Mode and see sparkles on the active areas even though you have it ticked off, turn off the sparkles as well to spot the H0GS and this should alleviate the problem. It did for me. I did do the survey and mentioned that there are sparkles on Custom Mode on the active areas even though I had it ticked off, but I guess unless you get the survey email for the game, they don't take note of your survey. Here we are on another case with Miss Anna Gray. This one, as like with the other ones are awesome. The main character is one of my favs, the VO's are great and fit the character, the game is just fun. So far no special gadgets, but I don't know if we will get one. The collectibles are 24 morphs and 16 collectibles. Four modes: Easy, Advanced, Hard, and Custom.
Story: It starts off with poor Anna in the hospital and she got a severe blow to the head causing a concussion. She is accused of the murder of Howard Kelly but doesn't understand why she would kill since she doesn't even know him. As you play the video tape, you find out who did, but you also want to know why Howard Kelly is trying to attack you. You do find out later in the game and the plot thickens.
Graphics: Simply awesome. Some 3D effects and be really gruesome. Love them.
Music: Nice and eerie and fits well with the game. Adds to the suspense.
H0GS: So far I ran into find two of each object, silhouettes, and put 4 objects on the list to get the list, and put two objects together to get the item on the list. A nice variety.
Map: Star-No current task, Little person-You, Question mark-task, Lock-Locked. It's a jump map.
Mini Games: The ones I ran into I never played before. One was this team's mini puzzles in one big puzzle, a lock pick puzzle, jigsaw, put the image right, book binder puzzle, all which were truly enjoyable.
All in all a very enjoyable game and I highly recommend it. Kudos to the team.
Honestly, dad should of put his foot down on the one. This game is off the chain! I love everything about this game. The VO's are awesome, I love the main character, he is a downright trip and the story is original. It is a kind of save your daughter type story but the only difference is you're not traipsing halfway around the countryside to retrieve her. She is with you, but you still are getting her out of fixes. But to me this is still an original story and I am totally loving every minute of this game. You do have collectibles thirteen in all. They are all different, but they all pertain to fears. Please look at the strat guide to see where they are. With this team I love how they put collectibles in, but they don't go overboard to feel like that is all your doing is hunting for them. Also there is a Match 3 game if you don't feel like playing the H0G. There are 4 modes of play: Casual, Advanced, Hard, and Custom.
Story: Dear ol' lovable dad takes his daughter Amber to the fair and she wants to go into "The Maze of Fears". Dad tells her she shouldn't because she will have nightmares afterwards. And boy did he hit the nail on the head cause I think dad will too. Amber tells her father that she got a free ticket and she goes in anyways despite his objections. The door slams shut behind her and there goes dad (after he buys a ticket) in behind her. The door slams shut behind him too and they are both trapped in "The Maze of Fears". Amber goes on up ahead without waiting on dad, (bad idea), and when they get the final door opened, she falls in the water and dad has to save her. In the meantime you're switching to what happened to Marissa Castey and the evil psychologist. And so the story continues.
Graphics: Totally awesome. Even in the H0GS they are clear. There is 3D in the graphics as well. This team couldn't of done any better on them.
Music: Nicely done. Fits the game beautifully. Really adds to the spookiness of the game. Doesn't get overly intense when there isn't no need to.
Mini Games: Really fun and original. Made strictly for this game. Still makes you think, but they don't get frustrating at all. And if you make a mistake or want to start over, there is a reset button.
H0GS: I only played two types so far, (even in the beta version), and that is find one object so you can get another object and so on till you get the main object, and the other is find the words on the list, but when you find an object you pick up a piece of the main object. So far I only came across eight words on the list. There are also mini games in the H0G scenes which make it more fun.
Map: Exclamation point-Current task, Green checkmark-Player, Blank white circle-complete, and Red lock-blocked. Yes it is a jump map.
Hint system: I don't use it in H0GS as I like to go for the achievements, but outside of them it works wonders. Well done.
Again, this is one awesome game. My second favorite to Ominous Objects Phantom Reflection. Reason I say second is because Mr. Jenkins (besides my own cat) took my heart. Kudos to the team. I highly recommend this game.
Yep yep, reminded me of that Cher song. I am truly enjoying this game. The VO's are are great and fit the characters just right. There is 48 butterflies to be found. One in each scene and 16 morphs. Note on the morphs. They are in H0GS only, but sometimes the morphs aren't in the H0G the first time you visit it, you have to revisit it to collect it. The strat guide shows all of them. To me I thought the opening cutscene was awesome with that train. Also with the chronometer. When you see it shake in your inventory bar, pick it up and click on the scene. Then click on the frozen objects that are suppose to be moving. That will fill up your chronometer and back to the game.
Story: The start of the story you open with Charon and Olivia and Olivia is talking to Charon and wondering where her husband Daniel is and she is very worried. Charon confesses to her that he sent Daniel on serious mission to stop the two villains Katherine and Slyboots. She tells Charon that she wants to go find her husband and bring him back. Before Olivia sets out, Charon gives her a chronometer which has the ability to freeze time and set things straight before any catastrophes happen. Then she unfreezes time and let things go as normal. She teams up with hubby and they now they are both on the trail to stop the duo, so they thought...
Graphics: Beautifully done. I stopped my game just to look.
Music: Fits right with the game. Adds to the ambiance of it.
Mini Games: I haven't had trouble so far. They are nice mini games and fun to play. Nothing taxing so far.
H0GS: Find the list with extra step objects to find then the pieces they were hiding make up the main object. Combine two objects to get the item on the list. Just a nice variety.
Map: Exclamation point for a task to and the little green person is where you are at. Jump map.
Kudos to the team for a job well done. I highly recommend this game.
I recommend this game!

Haunted Legends: The Dark Wishes Collector's Edition
Restore the threads of Fate, before they cause a disaster!
There is one warning I like to say first. One scene is really gruesome. It's after the trial ends, so I don't want to spoil it. Just warn. Well the rabbit team did it again with another outstanding game. I am enjoying this immensely. The VO's are awesome and are done very well. The acting is superb. You will be visiting five cities on your journey. And thank goodness this team didn't go overboard with the collectibles. You have only 16 pigeons to find. So far no little animal helper. You do get a magic staff that when you see colored electricity you use your staff and do a mini H0G to collect magic into it.
Story: That little evil man (the devil's right hand man) St. Germaine is at once again. Someone should hog tie that little imbecile and put him out of his misery. Starts off Roberto is writing the professor (the man you play as) a letter for help when you are interrupted by a knock at the door and in walks this sinister being and stabs and kills Roberto. Off course they blame Lucia for it. So she finishes Roberto's letter asking the professor for help and telling him they are blaming her for the death of Roberto. So he quickly packs his things and heads on out to her aid. And then you can continue on with the rest of the story from there.
Graphics: To me even the rabbit team outdid themselves on this one. Absolutely gorgeous! There is quite a bit of 3D in there.
Music: Very well done and adds to the spookiness factor of the game.
Mini Games: All original. Seems they are made strictly for this game. I hadn't had to use the guide yet, but that's not saying I won't have to.
H0GS: Nice variety. Put four symbols down to get the word list for the main item. Another was find the matching pairs, and another I had was the straight list no extra steps. They're fun.
Map: Grey medallion-Lock location, Black rook-You're here, Red medallion-Scene incomplete, and Blue Medallion-Scene complete. Yes it's a jump map.
Again, kudos to this team for another outstanding game. I highly recommend it.
Well, once again back in a spooky (emphasis on spooky) motel with downright funny detective. This guy is a trip! The VO's are awesome. The characters in the game are fantastic. Your collectibles are Photo Fragments, Morphs, Masks, and Special Items. If you're into collecting these, I would suggest to peek at the strategy guide to make sure you got them, as not all 4 are in every scene. So far there is no special items like the goggles in another one we've played. Pretty straight forward.
Story: You start off in a cafe having your morning cup of joe when this dudes walks up to you and hands you a letter from this doctor by the name of Kevin Richards. He will pay you $100,000 to protect him. The detective of course takes the case (like who wouldn't) and off we go. After we get past a sniper and make it to the car, we are off to our abandoned hotel. Kevin and Tobias all of a sudden get abducted, and now we are off to get them back. In the meantime you have some crazy mask man playing with your head. Now off to solve the case.
Graphics: Off the hook. The pachyderm team I don't believe could have gotten any more gruesome.
Music: The music is awesome and it really adds to the scenario of the game as well as the spookiness factor.
H0GS: So far the only kind I played was put items together to get the next item, find the words on the list to get a main item, and a audio one where you have to find a certain item. Still a nice variety.
Mini Games: Strictly made for this game. These minis are right up my alley as so far I haven't had the need for the strategy guide. But I am sure knowing this team, that won't be the case for all.
Map: The map looks like security surveillance cameras. Red circle-Player, Question mark-Current task, Blue star-No current task, Green button-Active and Red button-Inactive. And yes it's a jump map. Just click on the t.v. screen on where you want to go.
Kudos again to this team for making an outstanding game, and to the one who wrote the story and the detective's dialogue. Ten plus star game easy. I highly recommend this game.
Based on the beta version. The 3D graphics alone was something to admire. The VO's were simply amazing, I loved the main character. In this one you will be switching between the main character Beatrice, and the Beast. As you will see at the beginning of the game, you will get this magic frame to see who the animals actually are. Your collectibles are butterflies, pictures and magic objects.
Story: The story opens with your sick dad on what appears to be his death bed. He asks you, (his daughter) to bring him the back the fabled rose. It can cure any disease or illness out. One problem though. The nasty old witch wants it for herself to keep your 'beauty'. What beauty I don't know because she has more wrinkles than a prune, and her face looks like it's been hit by a Mack truck. So I don't know how she thinks the rose will help. Neither would a full makeover. But the way it seems you will have to get it from her to save your dad. And the story goes.
Graphics: Again gorgeous! I simply just sat and looked at it for a few. I have an HD screen, so the flowers looked like they were going to come out of it.
Music: Beautiful. Really enjoyed listening to it. Went nicely along with the game.
Map: Pink button-You are here, Green button-Available locations, & Red exclamation point-Available actions. Also note on the map you can check or uncheck whether you want the available actions to show on the map or not, and the same with the collectibles. You will see a blue butterfly on the at a location.
Mini Games: These are really fun and original. They are strictly made for this game.
H0GS: So far one was collecting items and then putting them back in the scene to collect fireworks, another is you have an action to do before the list and a few others. Very nice variety.
Again, another game I am beyond impressed with. I highly recommend this game.

Based on the beta survey version. This is definitely a try before you buy type game. And trust me, I can't express that enough. I bought this game just to give me something to play. But to me this is by no means a five star game nor CE quality. First off, I do adore animal helpers, I think they are cute and fun to have. But I don't know as of yet what the purpose of the owl is and to me he is distracting with his hooting (had to turn sound off to stop it which I never turn the sound off), and the flapping of the wings. Another distraction is those floating jellyfish over the scenes. It makes it difficult to see the actual scene and find what you are looking for. The voice acting was on the melodramatic side. Yes, the voice fit the characters, and they were clear, but the drama was a little over the top. Even with Grace. And a little more humor at times when nothing serious was going on would of been nice. And there is a 114 mirror shards to be found which is a little over the top. There is 4 modes of play, Casual, Advanced, Hardcore and Custom.
Story: The king has summoned Grace who is a Guardian to save his daughter from entangled vines. When all that is said and done, the queen gets kidnapped by monsters and taken off to another realm. Now it's up to Grace to save the queen and also save the king who is entangled in by vines. If the queen isn't saved, the whole world will fall into despair.
Graphics: The graphics are gorgeous. Crisp and clear also in H0GS.
Music: The music is fine. It fits the game
H0GS: The first H0G was fun taking one item from one scene and putting it into another. The next H0G where we had to find little flowers and swords was annoying because of those floating jellyfish. There was a variety.
Mini Games: Putting ink blobs into shells, very easy. The owl one was fun. Some were annoying and some fun. A variety there too.
Map: Exclamation point-Something to do here. A Flower-Your location. And a Checkmark-location completed. On the lefthand side of the map they have a plus and minus sign where you can zoom in and out of the map. there are 4 arrows in the top left corner of the map which allows you to scroll left, right, up and down. It is a jump map.
Hint System: I never use it in a H0G, but for outside the H0G almost to the point of useless. Click on the hint to show you what to do next, and instead it shows you to notice something that you can't do nothing with at the present time. And even though you did notice what it showed you before you used the hint, it will show you again. Then maybe if you're lucky it will show you what to do. This time here it's faster with the guide.
All in all I had played SE's of much better quality. Usually this team puts out really good games, just that this one is not up to par.

Name's Jenkins, Mr. Jenkins, and so that's Mr. Jenkins to you, meow! He is definitely the star of the game. Such a debonair cat. He goes above and beyond the call of duty. He could teach my cat a few things. This game totally rocks. This is one of my fave series too. This is my ultimate fave game. I honestly think it will be a long time before another game can top this one. Even the first Ominous didn't quite hit the level this one did. The VO's in this game are awesomely done! I love the main character Leia Gofford. Her sense of humor can't be beat. This is an infinite star game. Also in the game you collect cat coins to fix up Mr. Jenkins room which I think is fun. I love animal helpers anyways, and Mr. Jenkins is the best! Also you will have special goggles. When you see a red, blue or green hue on the part of the scene you use them and put the mixed up lines together to match that part of the scene.
Story: You start off by seeing Lilith buying a mirror from an auction that used to belong to a man by the name of Albert Mort. She was so thrilled to own it until a dark demon snatched her and pulled her into the mirror. Then you cut to the poor butler who is also entangled and Leia manages to free him and he tells her some of what is going on. You manage to get upstairs to meet Patrick (Lilith's son) who is tied up and you have to free him. Once done, he too gets snatched up by the same demon and so it's up to you to save the day. I bet from this day forward Lilith won't be buying no more mirrors from auctions.
Graphics: Absolutely gorgeous. The details and the 3 D effects can't be beat
Music: Beautiful music. It really fits the game and adds to the spookiness of it.
Mini Games: Downright fun. Totally original mini games made strictly for the game.
H0GS: Find one item to use for another item and had mini games in them. Straight H0GS and you found shiny pieces to put a main object together. Nice variety of H0GS. Or you can play a match 3 if you don't want to play the H0G. I prefered the H0G cause they are fun.
Map: Exclamation point = Goal, A lock = Location is locked, A green checkmark = You are here. And it is a jump map.
Again, big kudos to this team. They couldn't of made this game any better than they did. I was beyond impressed with this one. I highly recommend this game!

The story is awesome! I can't wait to be able to play the rest of it. The VO's are top notch. The cut scenes are unbelievable. This team put out one fantastic game. I know the first Cadenza was an introduction to The Jazz Pepper Club and that, but this one is so much better. Ella Johnson is one fantastic main character. I didn't notice any collectibles. They probably will be in the main game if there is any. There's 5 modes: Novice, Artist, Virtuoso, Maestro, and Improviser (which is the custom mode).
Story: I normally would put a brief synopsis of the story here, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone. This way when people play the demo, they can see it for themselves what happens.
Graphics: Absolutely gorgeous! Crisp and clear, even the H0GS. Beautifully done.
Music: The ambiance of the music fits the game beautifully, and adds to the intensity of the game.
Mini Games: Made specifically for this game. Really fun and not to hard or easy, just right.
Map: This is a jump map, and if you look at the top of the map, it tells you what each dot represents. It is a jump map.
H0GS: Find the list word and pick up the frag, one you would zoom into an area, find 3 or 4 words picking up frags, and that main item would take you to another zoomed area (was rinse, repeat), another was you had a word in a circle, pick up the music note it left behind and place the item in the scene, wash rinse repeat. Very nice variety. Really fun.
Hint System: Works very well outside of H0GS. Shows you where and what item to use in that area.
Again, kudos to this team. This game is really going to be fun to play and the story I definitely want to finish. I highly recommend this game.

One of my favorite main characters Miss Roberts is on another case. This time we are checking out a ghost ship which could be the sister to the Titanic, but this is definitely a ghost ship. Yes, we had Titanc games before, but this team took it to a whole new level. The story makes you want to know what happens, the VO's are done superbly, the cut scenes are off the chain, just a fantastic game. There are collectibles and morphing objects for you to collect. You have 4 modes: Casual, Advanced, Expert, and Custom. The tutorial you can have a full one or just on the special objects in the game.
Story: You're on another case with Miss Roberts and this time you are going to be checking out a ghost ship. In the beginning of the story, you run upon two characters, Nicholas and Grace, and then the musician gets caught up in the mix. I don't want to go into too much detail and spoil it not knowing how far the demo will go. But I can promise it is one awesome story.
Graphics: Gorgeous. The colors are crisp, the sceneries look so real, this couldn't of been done better.
Music: Fits with the game perfectly and truly adds to the ambiance of the game.
Mini Games: The ones I came across were truly fun and totally original. So far they were strictly done for this game.
H0GS: Nice variety. In the silhouettes the green glow on them meant an extra step and when you found the item used it for another, find the list words then pick up the shiny piece, find the main item, then continue with the list, like I said, nice variety.
Map: Red exclamation-something to do there, Green footsteps-you are here, and Gold star-found both morphing and collectible items. It is a jump map.
Hint System: Works well in H0GS, (I tried it since this was just the beta), but I won't in the real game. Outside of H0GS it shows you what item to use and where.
Again, one awesome game. I highly recommend it. This is one you don't want to miss.
