Amazing graphics! So much detail! From the pictures on the walls to the perspectives of the rooms. This is the BEST Spirit of Revenge game so far in my opinion, and my favorite game so far of the last few months! The characters are believable and well-voiced. The music is emotional and calming. Well done! So glad I didn't pay any attention to the other review!!! If I had, I wouldn't even have trialed it. Just goes to show how different everyone is!

Available at BFG in 2017. This game started off well. But you will go around and around the same places before you move on. I got the sense that they squeezed every last opportunity out of every scene. There was nothing stunning and the game did not galvanize me into action. No beauty either. Absolutely no atmosphere. What a shame I bought this game. Just another lackluster game that seems to have had very little thought put behind the storyline. I can see why long-term players start to get frustrated after a few years, because of regurgitated material that isn't even as good as previous games. Sorry, this game is a dud.

Available at BFG in 2017. WHAT I REALLY LOVE ABOUT THIS GAME: *You can turn 'HINTS' off! You do this from the options page. So you don't get those annoying flashing arrow-examples helping you (if you don't want them), and there's no rush to make a decision to beat the 'hint!' But if you do want them, that's ok too! *You can choose to play a "MOVES" based. So you have a limited number of moves, which aren't timed! So you can use your skill to try and make 4 and 5 match combos which earn you rewards, as well as do whatever else the goal is. *I Iove the gems, especially the extra shiny ones...can't help it! (IF they did ones with beautifully decorated cakes...ooh. that would be awesome too..I can always wish.) *The sound effects are great!
Available at BFG since 2017. Review based on several hours of gaming. You are the commander of a particular moon mission. For the story to progress, there is constant communication between you and your team, including photo updates. The communication appears as typed wording. Tension builds in the storyline as witty banter gives way to exhaustion and confusion. Rising fear must be subdued and the mission completed. How you respond to the team questions and scenarios, and how you decide to proceed at each stage, will affect how the game unfolds. If you have a catastrophic fail incident, the game allows you to rewind to a previous stage and choose different options. It isn't a difficult game to play, it's an experience.
The sound-effects and simulated computerized glitches and interference create the perfect environment for the game. Although there are no scenes with detailed graphics and no voice-overs, it really felt no different to watching a great sci-fi movie or reading a fantastic book. It was very difficult to stop playing and drag myself away. A lot of the tension is created by pauses in communication between what is being attempted or experienced and then what actually happens.
...who feel a THRILL at being left to figure it all out! I feel like a kid in a playground, with lots to explore! There's no temptation to hit the Hint or Skip button for direction or puzzle help...because there aren't any! If you prefer having a Hint or Skip button, please enjoy one of the 95% other games on BFG that can offer that.
Stylistic and artistic graphics! Puzzles in a weird and wonderful settings!
My Favorites: Legacy-Mercy of the Gallows, Untold History Descendant of the Sun, Dominic Crane 1 & 2.
Confront an ancient evil and uncover your true! After a startling revelation changes your world forever, you must embark on an epic journey to save mankind.
Available at BFG since 2013. Review based on completed game. Beautiful mountains, forests and desert scenes, Ancient structures have lots of intricate but often crumbling stonework. The story is done in a very dignified and respectful manner towards India and its culture. This game is relaxing, not taxing.
GRAPHICS - Widescreen or Full screen. Beautiful and detailed. Awesome scenery and locations.
HOPS: 12-13
PUZZLES: All skippable. Nice variety! SOUNDS - with 2 adjustments: Music/Environment.
MAP: TRAVEL and has useful TASK indicator JOURNAL: NONE DIFFICULTY SETTINGS – 2– not interchangeable
HINT: Guides and leads. 1min on Casual, 2mins on Expert. There is also a BFG walkthrough. INVENTORY – Lockable CHARACTERS: Minimal interaction. No lip-sync.
As darkness falls, strange dreams from the past haunt Dianne. Help her uncover the hidden secret that lies within her dreams and unravel a love story that’s lost within time.
Available at BFG since 2012. Review based on completed game. Apart from the hotel and office, the surroundings at Egypt (?) are ornate and enjoyable. BE WARNED!!! You get to a certain point in the game where you have made a significant advancement towards what is going on, but then suddenly you are greeted with a static, large "GAME OVER." The wrench is significant and will leave you reeling. I was not able to locate a sequel. However, being aware of that, you can still enjoy this game for its ambience. There is nothing occult or scary about this game.
GRAPHICS – Many people would refer to these type of graphics as an older style, but it doesn't bother me or my enjoyment of the game. Full screen, not really Widescreen. Little pop-up bubbles will appear around areas of interest, where you must add collected items to, to make them function.
HOPS: 32 – 35 Wordlists
PUZZLES: All skippable SOUNDS - with 2 adjustments: Music and Environment
MAP: NONE JOURNAL: NONE DIFFICULTY SETTINGS – ONE MODE ONLY-
HINT: Hints are available in the HOPS, but in the regular scenes you get glints and sparkles for HOPS. INVENTORY – Lockable CHARACTERS: Insignificant interaction. NO voice-overs. You must read.
Available at BFG since 2011. Review based on completed game. YOU SHOULD KNOW STRAIGHT AWAY, THERE'S NO MAP. Walk around a deserted and dilapidated olden day hospital, gone to rack and ruin. This game was quite a challenge on Expert, because there are items that you can only find by scanning the whole screen. If that and the slow tempo of the game appeal to you, you'll enjoy it. In the easier option, you do get glints. Personally, I didn't enjoy the cut-scenes because of the nature of experimenting on people, it made me uncomfortable and so I skipped them. However, it isn't a scary game. BFG does have a walkthrough.
GRAPHICS – Neutral colors. Widescreen (being a bit stretched- but still ok looking) or Full screen.
HOPS: 12-15. Two styles: 1) Wordlists and 2) returning items to spots they belong in. Words keep getting added, which I liked! More fun!
PUZZLES: All skippable SOUNDS - with 2 adjustments: Music and Sound. Not a game big on sounds or sound effects.
MAP: NONE JOURNAL: YES, stores codes etc. DIFFICULTY SETTINGS – 2 – not interchangeable.
HINT: In Expert, the most you will get is a "nothing to do here," and sometimes you will get a window open up to show you what needs to be done at that spot, but won't show you or help you to get the item you need. BFG does have a walkthrough. I had to use the walkthrough about 3 times to locate items I'd totally missed. INVENTORY –Stays visible at all times. CHARACTERS: Mainly you see characters in the cut-scenes, which I skipped.
Available at BFG since 2013. Review based on completed game. A game with a more serious tone. Thoroughly enjoyed it. You do get a few too many hints, even when you don't want them, but still, enjoyed every minute. At least 20 HOPS. The voice-over of the lady you play as, is very well done.
Available at BFG since 2013. Review based on completed game. You get a beautiful, moonlit night, in and around farmland locations and paths. 18 HOPS. A bit of a mixed bag of mildly, moody-spooky-weird. Quite a long game, but I felt like it was a little bit too drawn out, especially midsection.
