Not much to this one. It was visually quite good and it had some good achievements that I liked but other than that .. there's not much to it. The game is quite simple.. you complete the tasks in each area and then move to the next.. no backtracking, no need to rack your brain. Everything is right there and pretty easy. Mini games are very simple! A cute little animal helper that you can dress up.. kind of ERS-ish. The storyline was pretty standard.. an ice queen keeping the world frozen.. you are a child of spring and must overthrow her. sigh. It was complete with the Noooooo ending. I did like the collectible coins but overall this game was pretty standard and quite easy. haven't played the extra chapter yet.. not sure if I will. Not a bad game but nothing original and nothing to write home about. meh Not up to par with the first one.

This game was just okay. I debated whether to give it 2 starts or three but settled on three. I am usually a fan of Blue Tea games but this one... not so much. It seemed thrown together and not that interesting. The game play was extremely repetitive. Lots of pieces to open things.. over and over.. find the piece then open the whatever. And reading ...over and over read this note then that note. Nothing overly imaginative here. The mini games were mostly rearrange the pieces to fit. again pretty repetitive. I found the story short and the ending very unsatisfying. What about all those people he kidnapped? What ever happened to them? Why did she die in the first place? Why was he chasing her? And what mother goose had to do with all this is anyone's guess. The game had only one collectible, some morphing objects and there were only 20 of those throughout the whole game. The achievements were mostly game related so you only had to play the game as you normally would to achieve them. No challenge here. The few HO scenes that there were in this one were all list based and not interactive. Very old school. There was a jump map and the hint system worked well. On the plus side the game is, as always, beautifully drawn and full of color. It has all the charm and magic visually of BT games but for me at least.. being nice to look at was just not enough. Less reading, more variety with inventory objects, HO scenes and a mix of puzzles is really expected in games today and this one just did not measure up.

Having played over 400 games I was just wondering how much more.. it's missing, it's locked over and over I could stand, when along comes this awesome offering. Wow where to start? It's long, it's gorgeous, it's colorful, it's mini games and adventure play are fresh and super imaginative and it has an awesome storyline. No one has even gone missing!! There are a ton of achievements and collectible roses. Plus morphing objects in the HO scenes. It consists of the regular game that has an colorful array of characters, locations and quests, a bonus chapter that continues the story and three hidden chapters. Amazing. It has a magical theme without being overly cutsie. This developer definitely does not rest on past successes and each game from these guys is better than the one before. This one is so good that I could probably use all of the space here gushing about it. But suffice it to say that if this doesn't make game of the year I will be shocked. This is right up there with the drawn games.. maybe better than.. and for sure one of my all time faves. I will be replaying this one and I almost never do that. When I came to the end of the bonus chapter I realized that I had missed one collectible rose and only had 44 of 45.... I knew which one I had missed but couldn't go back.. I tried. I began doing a rose jigsaw that was still to do. Right at the end of that it took me to the spot where I had missed the one rose. I was able to collect it and get the achievement. These devs play close attention to every detail to make the game the most fun it can be. Awesome Awesome Awesome Don't miss this one. You'll be sorry

I really liked this game. It has beautiful graphics with lots of color, collectibles, achievements, a ton of mini games that were easy but fun and some pretty HO scenes that never repeat. It was a decent length and was not overly easy. Quite fun to play. My only critique and the reason I didn't give it five stars is the storyline. I like boom zap games for their bright fun games with lots of puzzles but I must say that I hope they don't do like they did with the awakening series and drag on the same tired storyline for one too many games. So get the shade already. What other great adventures could these characters embark on after this? Maybe spring will come and there will be other things to do? I have really enjoyed this series but like so many others the storyline of .. there's a witch or there's a shade can only carry them so far. Please continue to make these but do offer up some new and fresh adventures for these characters.

This one made a very good SE game. Too bad they didn't include any morphing, collectibles or achievements or they would have sold way more CE's and had good reviews. I say that because the game is beautiful with good use of color and had a pretty good storyline as well. You have to go back in time to try and prevent the murder of your police officer father. It all takes place in a lovely European looking town. It was a decent length and had a bit of everything. Drama, mystery, underwater scenes, tons of good puzzles and some interesting HO scenes. In each one you had to find three objects and use them to complete the scene. Several times in this one my inventory was loaded. I really like that. Much better than I need a hammer.. oh here's a hammer... yawn. Here, there were plenty of inventory objects and you often had to think where and how to use them. Really liked this one. Maybe next time out they will add in some collectibles and achievements to increase the fun factor but this did make quite a good standard edition.
I recommend this game!

Well put together game with beautiful graphics, achievements and rather easy to find collectibles. I enjoyed going through the portals to each person's dreams and solving all the puzzles. This one was puzzle heavy so if you love those.. like I do, you'll love this one. Tons of puzzles and inventory objects. HO's were basic lists but were crisp, clear and colorful. Decent length although bonus chapter was short. This felt like a game we've seen before but even so was fairly well done. I liked all the flower beds and butterflies and the use of color. Definitely a decent offering that was fun. I really enjoyed all the puzzles. There were a couple that I couldn't understand but most were straightforward yet challenging. Nicely done.

I quite liked this game. It had the same look and feel of the previous games and I thought Hot Lava did a pretty good job. I liked the addition of achievements and it still had all the other plusses. As always you could click on the word in the HO scenes and it would show you a silhouette of the object in the lantern, great for times when you don't know what a watch fob is for example. It also had the collectible shamrocks and the ravens which increased your hints. The storyline was pretty good with lots of portals to travel through and many interesting characters. A few jumps in the chair and some pretty good graphics. My only complaint was the length. It seemed a big shorter than the others and without the extra chapter it would have been really short. But it had lots of interesting puzzles and I really did enjoy what was there. Nicely done.
It should have been a tremendous achievement, but the tunnel through the Ridge of Leviathan became the site of a great disaster. What really happened that day?

This is a good long game with a really strong storyline which as we all know can make or break a game. Lots of puzzles with a varying degrees of difficulty. No repeat HO scenes and a new twist.. you needed to find inventory objects to complete them. Again the collectible flowers in three different colors and lots of achievements including my fave the find 3, 5 and ten objects in as many seconds. I actually cared in this game whether or not she found her family. The graphics were good although I do agree with some that there was an overuse of red it was not enough to be too off putting. The extra chapter was necessary to give closure to the story and had some excellent puzzles. The game had a helpful map and hint system if you were stuck which you might be in this one a couple of times. Long, imaginative and quite entertaining. Really enjoyed this one.
I loved the first game Maple Creek and this one was just as good! Awesome storyline that's front and center through the entire game. Gorgeous graphics, great music and some tricky inventory objects used in creative ways. A corkscrew to open a drawer for example. Great cut scenes and a few jumps in the chair. Objectives, tons of achievements, butterfly collectibles and morphing objects. Awesome. I was a bit surprised that there was no extra chapter.. especially since I hardly ever play them but this game was soo good that I was looking forward to it. Can't complain though as it was quite long and a real thriller so any extra chapter probably would have been anti climactic anyway. I would have liked the morphing objects to last throughout the whole game but those are the only critiques I can think of. I loved this game. I loved pretty much everything about this game.. the evidence board, the mini games were inventive and I found the HO scenes to be a real challenge. yayy!! I can't just breeze through them in no time. Very very very good game. Can't wait for the next one if they maintain this level of quality. Outstanding. Don't miss this one or you'll really miss out. Highly recommended. Did I say wow?

Everything about this game was good for me. What there was of it. it had achievements, it had collectibles, a good map, nice graphics and a decent storyline. One of the achievements was a bit odd.. skip 5 mini games.. they are my favourite part so I am not about to skip five of them. The mini games here were fun, HO scenes interactive and enjoyable. There's a pirate theme to the game and the storyline made the game interesting. Only two things that I wasn't overly happy with and therefore took away one star for each. The game was fairly short compared to this dev's other offerings and it never made you think. Everything fell into place quite easily. So for a short easy but entertaining game.. 3 outa 5
