This one took me longer than most to play. It is much heavier to adventure style play than HO although it does have several HO scenes. For sure the most challenging part is that you play as three different characters, each with their own area to explore. The fun comes when you realize that not every inventory object that you find is to be used in your area. So you must meet the other characters in an underground meeting place to swap objects. That's after you figure out who needs what and where. I found it quite challenging to remember who was doing what, what their area consisted of (which one had the well which one needs a shovel) and I often had to resort to making lists to keep things straight. But I did appreciate that quite a bit of thought and preparation went into this game. it was beautifuuly drawn with lots of color and an abundance of different locations. The mini games were fun. it had the one from the Drawn games with the lighting, blowing out and moving around of candles. All in all a fun game but with a bit more demand on concentration than I would have liked.
This one was bright, colorful and very enjoyable. Even though the story did try to solve a murder, there were no dark rooms or creepiness. Thank you. Nice change. The artwork was really beautiful, the storyline engaging and the game filled with a variety of puzzles. It is set up in six chapters with achievements to achieve in each. I played the SE version and even so it was fairly long. This one was bright and quite entertaining. I would buy another in the series in a flash.
Wow this was a really great game. I had some issues with the storyline (or lack of) in the first one but the second one was better and this was was actually really good. The incredibly ornate and detailed locations are as well done or better in this one. It's amazingly beautiful. You find yourself in a frozen land trying to locate missing children and encounter a huge castle full of amazing rooms and obstacles. There lots of FROG's to work through and I quite liked the mini game where you must create a path using the right number of moves. This one appeared several times throughout the game.. I always love the addition of morphing objects! You can also collect medallions that when complete open a book that gives you deeper insight into the story line. Very cool. This one well worth the time and money investment. I have not played the extra yet but loved the main game. Very well done. Blue tea games seems to be getting better with each new installment.
Wow .. this is a great game!! Think Raincliff ... (even better than I think) It even had the little frog in the black coat in one of the HO scenes. Anyway.. this game is really fabulous. Great detail, lots of color, lots of locations and loved the rain effect. The storyline is front and center and keeps you interested. Besides the main goal of solving the mystery of the knights, there are all kinds of other acheivements to acheive plus the side search for fifty doves. The cut scenes are really well done and offer a few jumps in the chair. You could even replay video of some of the cut scenes in the diary. There are many many inventory items to figure out and a bit of a new twist.. you sometimes need to use them in the HO scenes. A good map and helpful hint system. So cons?? hmm I can't think of any. This is exactly the kind of game I would like to play all of the time. The other plus is that it's long. I don't know about anyone else but I always feel kinda let down by games that end too quickly. It takes me a bit to really get into them so length is really important.. at least to me. Really enjoyed this one and have not yet played the extra. Please keep one like this one coming. Loved it.

This game felt very little boy to me. Not necessarily a bad thing but maybe just not what I am wanting. From the very child like language of the notes, complete with stick people, to the children building moon rockets, a pirate ship and the very basic plot..I felt this game lacked any excitement. There was also an over abundance of metal and underwater crash sites. Having said all that the game was well drawn and there were quite a few good puzzles. I just couldn't seem to get into it no matter how much I tried. It lost me near the underwater sub after repeated HO scenes that are all grey, black and blue. Perhaps one day I will finish this one but for now I am moving on to better and brighter games that are more my speed. Some might really like this one as it is a fairly well put together game but for me it was missing something. I dunno.. it just all felt a bit juvenile
This is a very well done game. Nothing chinsy about this one. It's gorgeous! The locations and people are colorful, well drawn and detailed. There is a ton to do, lots of mini games and quite a few HO scenes. Even the voice acting is quite good. I liked the puzzles in the extra chapter as much or more than the main game so for me it was worth buying the CE version. It also offers many of the puzzles alone for you to replay after so the CE is a good buy. (I never use soundtracks or wallpapers) Even without this though the main game is quite a good length. I enjoyed the witch entering each time you finished an area to mess you up. Kinda cute. Overall I thought this game was worth every penny. I gave it four stars instead of five only because I thought it might have been a bit better if they had somehow added a sense of urgency or drama to it but that really did not take away from how beautifully what was there was done. Very good sequel to what has been so far, three very good games.

Wow what a disappointment !! The Drawn series was my number one pick for my favourite games. So I bought the CE in a flash and settled into my lazyboy prepared for another epic adventure. Except it wasn't. It was a short child's bedtime story with lots of coloring..(a painting, a flower bed, some puppets) and a search for piggies in a pop up book. There wasn't even an extra chapter to extend the length. The game was beautifully drawn and animated with some interesting puzzles and some good special effects. It could have been really amazing. Perhaps my expectations were too high but I just can't get past how short it was with no real extras. So as games go this one was visually stunnng, a bit on the kiddie side, had a few good puzzles and special effects but was very short without a lot of worthwhile extras. I was disappointed with it and will hold out hope that the next installment will be more comperable to the first two. This was just an okay game for me hence the 3 stars out of 5.
