The first thing I noticed was the lovely scenes we were going to be involved in. So colourful and intricate. The map moves you around so you don't get lost. There was many places to visit, but all easy to travel to. The HOGs were good and very different as, not only did you have to find objects, but later on you would have to replace them, not where you found them, but where they belonged. The characters were nice. 'our misunderstood Hero' and his little sister who was a very dear little character. I found this game different from so many mainly I think because of the surroundings. The story line was easy to follow, but held my attention. All in all I found it exceptionally good
BUT you might like to turn the sound waaaaay down. The music is repetitive and irritating, which is a pity because the rest of it is enjoyable.
Yes lots of gilt, but that is a nice change from some of the dark and rather drear games we come across. Lots of gold light and not really dark corners.
The characters are interesting and although the story line is very much same old, same old, it has some fun factors that make it individual.
I did get a bit tired of it in the Bonus chapter. It seemed to go on a bit long and was really just jumping from place to place to solve riddles and HOGS. I liked the characters, they were pleasant and Dad was very evil, but not frightening :D The graphics are good, the main game is good and finding hidden things along the way was also fine. I did like the game, but got a bit bored towards the end
It is one of the few games I have actually not resorted to the skip button at all, and hints only to find where to go next in some instances.
The mini games were thought provoking but not mind bending. The 'find a squirrel' was not easy, but so long as I kept him in mind I got them all. The graphics were good and I found it was a game I could relax into.
This is a game for fun. It's relaxing in easy mode but there are several modes to choose from and it could get very complex. The story line is clear and easy to follow. The characters are good with some more bad than others. I loved the artistry, it is light and clear with no dark and gloomy places. There's a little dog to help you and you can be transported to different scenes with a map that will tell you if there is something to do somewhere else. Most of the time you can sail through the game achieving on your own with very little need for hints. I have enjoyed it.
It's a 'happy ever after' story, there are challenges and interesting games along the way. Father is made to choose if he will serve the beast for the rest of his days or his daughter will go in his stead. There is a wicked witch and some furry creatures along the way. Nice graphics, a map that will transport you. A great way to pass a wet day :)
The mystical Silver Arrow has been stolen from you on the eve of your wedding. Without it, you can’t marry your beloved Prince Philip! Can you track down the arrow in time?
The graphics are fine, the story line is easy to follow and the little critters along the way are fun, BUT it is a bit like wading through treacle to get into the mood of the story
It seems, in some parts to be very disconnected and I found I needed help to work out what should happen next.
This is wearing and somewhat irritating, but I will continue with the game because of all the other good factors.
This would be the best game I have seen for a very long time. It has everything and a teleport to make sure you can get to the right place. Games are different, not too hard but all challenging, the graphics are wonderful. Both the game and the Bonus are quite long which gives you many hours of pleasure if you aren't in any hurry. Just hope more like this appear soon :)
