As always, these games never fail to amuse! The game play is familiar and a ton of fun. The story line is funny and the music is campy and silly. It's another great game in this series! Drac saves the day again!
I made it through level 6. It never got better. I might really have enjoyed this game if I'd been... maybe 7 or so. It's very childish and repetitive. The characters look cartoonish and large.
This was a good game, but not one of the best, I'd say. It seemed more concerned with digging up minerals, etc, than doing any actual rescuing. After a while, it seemed just a little boring.
Still, it's another Rescue game and we need more of those! It's not a total loss, just not as good as some of the others.
I am one of those who plays the game in the relaxed mode. I've only gone to level 8 so far, but I'm already having a ton of fun. I haven't found many changes to the game, though there is still time for that. It is faster paced than many of the other games, but not enough to be a problem.
I love these games! If you love them, too, then you'll want to add this to your collection.
These games always seem to hit the mark. I see a lot of talk about strategy, but haven't really found that to be an issue. All the old characters are there... except a "new" Mary is causing all the trouble and doesn't help at all in the game. (So far, anyway. I haven't finished it yet.)
If you enjoyed the others in this series (which I did), you'll enjoy this one, too! (I'd say more, but most of the higher rated reviews have already given the details.)
I don't like to play games where I have to figure out every move and end up with too few items to complete the level because I missed building something at exactly the right time. This is the very first Hercules that I have not completed for exactly that reason. When I reached the end of the final bonus level, I was 6 pieces of wood short to complete the level. I was not going to go through that all again... especially as waiting for items to spawn can take quite a bit of time.
Otherwise it was a fun game. I had about 4 levels I had to start over (Which, as I said, I hate.) and had fun for the most part. I wish I could recommend the game with reservations. But, if you enjoyed the other Hercules games, you should enjoy this one.
It's true, there aren't many changes, but why change something when it's fantastic in the first place? If you enjoyed the first of these games, you'll love this one as well.
I do find myself wondering if the Romans will ever find their way home sometimes... I hope not, because the games would end, then!
This game seems as if it's made for children. The story is boring and common... the tasks take "forever" even though the items needed have a semi-decent spawn time. I only made it through 4 levels before not being able to continue and normally I'm good at sitting through things.
Even the art is boring. This game, to me, has nothing going for it.
I suppose this is a good game... I just can't really get into it. It doesn't help that nearly every drawing of Hermes makes him look like he's shocked by some odd news.
The building/gathering/tearing down gets a touch repetitive after a while, the music is semi-annoying, and the story doesn't really seem to go anywhere.
I'm going to finish the game as it is kind of fun, but it's more a time-killer than anything else. Do try it and decide for yourself, though.
If you enjoyed the other games in this series, you'll enjoy this one as well. It has an added feature of having to work in daylight or at night which is fun. All the Viking heroes are there along with the various gods.
