This puzzle game is outstanding. You can decide on how many pieces you want to play, shape of the pieces, and if you want some playful pieces to help you along. You can convert almost any picture into a puzzle as long as you have it in your files. Like something you see online? Make it a jpg file and then the program will let it be made into a puzzle. I have played this for years and have converted many personal favorites into puzzles. It starts you out with many pictures/puzzles and you can decide if you want to play them, keep them or search for your own picture to convert. You control background color, number of pieces, shapes and sizes of pieces, and if you want to crop pictures. The controls are not hard to learn. You can also create custom folders for personal interests.

What can I say? This is another fun game in the Hero series. I have played them all and replayed them many times again. This latest issue is different from the preceding issues in the map and how it is used. You can visit various vendors without leaving where you are. Some of the tasks are very different from the earlier games and you can fashion potions, food and weapons as your skills improve and your collections accumulate. The one thing I miss from the earlier games is a place to look to help you focus on the task at hand. That certainly isn't a deal breaker. You don't need to play this series any particular order since the main characters in each are not at all related. If you like any one of them, you will enjoy them all. Thank you Lonely Planet for such great work.

There are some changes in this game that make it interesting. Instead of building a town you are building a rail yard. I enjoyed this. There were also freight centers that helped earn money as you played. The beginning levels were way too easy. You couldn't check on buildings to see what you needed to complete them until certain times and when you scanned them they didn't tell you how much money they gave or what supply they needed. Next Stop, the original, is still my favorite.

I have enjoyed the Park Ranger series up until now. This latest game, not so much. This version had less to do with the theme of the great outdoors and more to do with cluttered masses. It was beyond realistic to me. There were just too many people and too much city and technology for my taste. I liked the fact it let you know when you had found all the litter. Some of the scenes were just plain junkie. It was fairly challenging because there was often a lot of stuff to examine to find everything but it wasn't like any public campground I had ever been to. Play the trial and you will know if you want to continue. I just bought it because I liked the earlier versions so much and didn't bother to trial it. It was just not that much fun for me, sorry.
The story is familiar, a neglected son comes back as an evil wizard and wants to take the throne. Some puzzles are the usual and some are fresh. The only real problem was that it was too short and it seemed to end abruptly. If you liked the demo, buy it.

I like puzzle games and play many. This one is different in that you only see the dark shapes and they are rather small and sometimes not scale. They are also not presented in a position that is not necessarily their true position in the puzzle. The whole thing is a darkened representation of an otherwise beautiful work of art. I wish things were backlit when you finish and the working background was something other than black. My old eyes were not very happy. It was challenging to the point of frustrating for me. There are different levels of difficulty for each puzzle but I never figured out if I could reset them. So because of my challenged eyesight and the smallness of the pieces, I do not recommend it. However, if you are hard core and have excellent vision, go for it.

This game plays almost exactly like Defense of Greece except it's harder. It took me a long time to build up my machines and I never did figure out why I could suddenly use the extra weapons that were listed off to the left side of the screen. Basically, you have to defeat the enemy by building better and better machines. There are four basic machines and each has a different function. Figuring out where to use each machine is part of the strategy. I had to play a lot of levels over and over before my machines were strong enough to advance. This was frustrating. In the Greece version, it moved a lot easier and I would recommend that if you are starting this series. There are no specific directions for how to play the game but if you click around on the different screen options you should be able to figure it out. There is an area that tells you what machines will defeat certain presentations of the enemy. I played this game a long time to just get through it. I was able to get through the Greece version faster and played it twice to see how I'd do once I learned how to play it. I will not replay this version, it was just too slow to advance my ability to upgrade weapons.

This is a building game. Even in the casual mode it is hard to complete in allotted time. Lots of clicking and jumping around to get things done. The illustrations are rather small and unimaginative. The play for me was not much fun. There was no real story line. There were no bonuses to make men run faster or build quicker. I have to compare it to Royal Envoy and Viking Saga and it comes up very lacking. I pass on this one.

This game didn't come with much info about how to play it but was not hard to figure out. There are still a few aspects I don't understand, like what makes a piece of equipment have a little star on it while it's neighbor of the exact same type does not. Basically it requires you to build and improve various weapons to defeat the enemy. It takes quite a long time to achieve the top level for each machine. You basically have to accumulate enough gems to buy or combine parts to get to level 10 for each part. The challenges for each level start off at a basic level of earning 3 stars on the flag. You can then play the same level to earn more reward and a five star rating. If you play the difficult level you get more reward. The reward gems are what you use to buy better machine parts. There are little side weapons you can use for single times and they either recharge or you have to buy more. When my machines got stronger I seldom needed these but used them quite a bit in the early part of the game. You can play any level over and over, sometimes just to earn enough gems to build a better machine. This got a little boring. I don't listen to sound so no comment. The graphics are simple and easy to distinguish. There are two characters that talk at the beginning of each round which I found a bit annoying but you can flip through them pretty easily. If a few of the enemy slip through your defenses you can still win the level as there are liberal lives available at the start of each level. You can cut down certain trees on most levels to get a few extra coins to improve your weapons.

My Major objection to this game is how it is set up. The map is vague and only takes you to locations that have multiple sub locations. There is no journal so you can refer back to tasks. There is considerable jumping around to accomplish tasks and that can be frustrating if you don't remember specifically where to go. Hints are helpful and reload quickly. It is not very hard to solve the hidden object scenes as they are the type where you must build objects from scattered parts. The puzzles are unique. I liked the game, there was too much backtracking and jumping around for my taste.
