Where most of us Europeans rather get rid of this organisation we're now supposed to RE-build something that exists? REstore landmarks when there's nothing wrong with them? What is this supposed to be about? The game itself isn't fun, it's confusing and I hope it's the last of this kind that I see on offer here.
Someone has stolen two powerful magic doves from your kingdom, and the consequences could be disastrous. Embark on an extraordinary journey to stop the thief.

A disappointment beyond believe. The game-play is really awkward and uncomfortable. The isn't really a story line that is remotely catching anyone's interest. The characters are wooden. The puzzles solve themselves. There was really nothing at all I liked about this game. I read some reviews about it being 'cute' and 'colourful' I found the 'cute' characters annoying, as they really infringed with the view to scenes. As for colourful, well that is something I expect! I think monochrome is a thing of the past. I really did not like this game and can't recommend it.

It's an adventure game, but with the most hilarious storyline, dialogues and monologues I have rarely seen in a game. It is pretty straight forward and easy, but just too funny to play. Give it a try, it really is worth is. I'll be treating myself to this one and the other one from the same series, as they're both on a half price offer today.
Warning: Be careful playing this game around children, some of the dialogues are not meant for their ears ;-)
(I won't go into the technicalities of the game as plenty of other reviewers have already done that in great detail. Only so much: it was mentioned a couple of times that the graphics are grainy. I have to disagree as on my system the graphics are displayed crystal clear and not a single sign of anything being grainy.)
As with all the Dark Parables your role as the detective is to solve the mystery of a fairy tale having gone terribly wrong. I love the sinister twists in all of the Dark Parables and I love solving puzzles. There are plenty of them in this game and they are not overly complicated in fact I find the puzzles in this game somewhat easier than in the previous games of this series. What all of the games have is the most gorgeous artwork. Whether you look at the surroundings or at the FROG Scenes the artwork is stunning. The games developed a great deal since Briar Rose which had very little interaction with characters and that made this particular game feel a little 'dead' but thanks to the artwork no less enjoyable. If you play them all in sequence you can tell how they evolved so far.
Dark Parables is my favourite game series so this one is also be a definite buy for me.
Great of BFG that they do a bundle offer at the moment and if The Final Cinderella is your first and you love it then now is time to treat yourself to the rest.

This game is awesome. I bought it a few months ago. It's not terribly challenging, but will juggle your brain from time to time. As always with ND games there's a lot of talking and walking, but in such great surroundings I didn't mind. Well...the surroundings mainly being Egyptian tombs :-) but that's right up my street :-)

I agree with the reviewer momrocks71. I am also fed up with these type of characters and this game made my blood boil when it started with some mayor having to beg for the rescue team to help. But not only that, they only broke off their vacation when offered a handsome amount of money. I really don't care much for games with characters like that.
Apart from that there are better games in this genre and I hope this third one will be the last of the series.

I love this game. It's so bright and uplifting and great fun for all ages.
You decorate aquariums paying for various items and fish money you earn playing hidden object scenes. The HOG scenes are very bright and crisp and I had no problems finding the items.
The fishies talk to you and sometimes tell you what items they want in their aquariums with a thought bubble. When the fishies are happy you win a trophy.
The game is not very challening at all but it's such great fun that it is a definite buy for me.

What have they done? Such a great story, well researched and then they goof it up with paper dolls that woosh in and cartoon bats. I've never seen anything so uninspired in all my life and hope I never do again. Looks like the developers of this game had a great idea but couldn't execute it due to lack of funds. They'd better waited, because this game could have been a great one.

Based on trial which only lasts about 10 minutes.
Difficult where to start. You get informed about the history of man in space, starting with the launch of the first Soviet rocket. You have to answer questions correctly to advance in the game. You have to do test, such as launching a rocket and finding out the rate in which the fuel gets burned to get it into space. In the first attempt you get a rough idea whether you need to burn fuel faster or slower and eventually your rocket will enter space. After that I wound up in a centrifuge and here you have to do a keyboard test (type in the letters you see). That's it. That's the trial finished.
Apart from these two actions all the game was filled with was a view of planet Earth form space which looked really cool and a speech on an ancient TV Set by JFK.
The game feels a bit as if it was made about 20 years ago and boosted up with better graphics.
I found the trial didn't give me enough inside into whether I would like the game or not. It was over after a less than 10 minutes. So I decided not to buy it based of what little I have experience during the trial. It may be really good and I'm looking forward to reading a review of somebody who completed it.
To buy this would be a dare and I just don't feel so daring right now.

I totally, totally love this game. The trial went by in what it seemed to be 5 minutes and after that I bought it straight away. Shortly after I had a new little family and work hard of building up their dream home. The little guys have to learn jobs to earn money to buy new items, like furniture, food, pets, sort out derelict rooms in their house and much more. They have to fix broken showers, keep their home clean and tidy, go to sleep when they're tired and eat when they're hungry and of course...they need to have some fun.
There are achievements to be won, such as collecting items from three different categories (which also earns them some cash), correcting bad behaviour, praising good behaviour and many more.
The game play is in real time, so don't expect things to happen in a day it'll take time. I own most of the Virtual Villagers series which is from the same developer and this game here is pretty much like them. However, in comparison I prefer Virtual Families 2. The family seems to become self sufficient a bit quicker and as long as you make sure that they have food in the fridge, you can leave them to their own devices for a while. The worst that happened over night with my new little family was that the house looked like a trash can, because they didn't bother cleaning up when I wasn't watching lol.
In theory this game (like virtual villagers) can be played indefinitely even after everything is completed and you can go back to check how they're doing every few days or so. These little guys grow on you, so don't be surprised if find yourself mourning when one of them passes away.
