Yes, it's another cursed castle. However, I didn't mind. The visuals on this game are good and I liked the storyline enough to play the entire demo (which took me about an hour). I play all games casual but I only used the hint button twice. The HO's are a mix of "use this to do that" and "find the object" as well as the "put it back where it belongs". The map allows you to move between locations (which I certainly like). Voice-overs are fine. I'm not much for background music in any of the games so I won't comment on that. I never opened the strategy guide so I'm not sure it's worth purchasing the CE but I might just because I enjoyed it enough to do so.
A strange and deadly pollen is spreading around the world, and you’ve been hired to track down its source. But the secrets you discover in the fabled kingdom of Floralia are much darker than you imagined...
I love the Dark Parable series. I will admit - Jack and the Beanstalk didn't grab me as the others had. I read all the reviews - good and bad for this one prior to playing the demo. As far as I am concerned this one has nailed it. Yes, it looks like a fairy tale - after all, it is!
I am good at games but don't like being frustrated trying to get through things. I play on Novice level just because games are a source of relaxation for me. I really enjoy this style of HO and the games have be a mix of easy and challenging.
The demo took me 65 minutes to get through and this was with no urgency whatsoever. Yes, I bought this game. I have been saving my credits since nothing has caught my attention like this one in a while.

I love Elephant games. They have some of the best graphics, storylines, etc. This game just left me cold. Yes, the graphics are beautiful. Yes, there are lots of things to do, find, figure out. Yet, I couldn't get over the basic premise. For some reason it was just a little too much horror/child in danger game. There are a lot of people that will love this game and I can't say they are wrong. I just didn't like the underlying tone of the whole game. I won't buy it but it is a well-done game!
I recommend this game!

I found this to be mindless fun. I like earning the golf dollars but I'm not a fan of having options which require real money. I won't be buying any of those but at least you don't have to to enjoy the game.
As I played during the trial period I kept getting a deja vu feeling. I knew I'd done this before. Sure enough - I have this game on another computer under the title Puzzle Masters 4. The pictures have been updated but the other version had the exact same buttons and functions. In some ways this version is a bit watered-down. I love jigsaw puzzles and this is a great way to just relax. I would buy it - but not for full price. I'll wait until it is a DD.
