I agree with other reviewers about this game being a bit too simple in its graphics, story, and gameplay, but it's fun, nonetheless! I think the manga/anime influence is more evident in games, but that's not such a bad thing. While I prefer more realistic artwork, I still enjoyed this game's visuals.

I've tried this type game several years ago and was annoyed by the game play then, as well. You need to clear a path for the "hero" to get to the cage to free the sparkles, but you have a limited number of turns. The turns are made like a match 3 style game, but you're never sure if you've cleared the path until the dust clears. And it's hard to find matches along the path to move the little guy on his way. But try it, maybe you'll enjoy it. . .

Yet another Match 3 game where you earn coins to buy things in the storyline. But, the story is a psudo-Olympus tale that makes no sense, the graphics are boring, and the matching portion of the game has levels that become ridiculously difficult and rely on luck to make matches.

It isn't often that a game exceeds my expectations in all four ratings categories, but this one does. I enjoyed the mini-games, I loved the graphics, and it took several hours from start to finish, another big plus for me, lol.

This game features hard to see HOS, random actions to further the story, and senseless dialog. Let's not waste any more time discussing it, I've wasted enough already by playing it.

I have often wondered if the reviews posted are separated into PC/Mac platforms. After seeing the "rave" reviews from too many players for the Nancy Drew franchise, I can only conclude that game reviews are a combination of all formats, regardless of the type of computer on which they are played. And I say this because I can't imagine anyone even liking these awful games, so maybe the PC versions are better implemented?
I have tried the Nancy D games every time they had a demo available. Each time, the game was hard to navigate, the storyline difficult to follow, and the puzzles were virtually impossible to figure out. So why do some people like them so much? If you read this and feel like the Mac versions of some games must play differently than their PC cousins, then maybe Big Fish should know, and, better yet, fix the problem.

This game could have been interesting but something went wrong in the translation. The format is the usual business design where you take in customers, take care of them, then see them on their way. In this game, the patients require specific treatments but you won't know what they need until they start leaving, untreated. A scantily clad female doctor pops up and tells you how badly you are failing and she suggests what room type you need to build in your hospital. But you cannot make decisions until you are told, because you will build unneeded rooms and not have space for new types of illness that start walking in the door.
The pace speeds up considerably, the goals are a mystery, and there is no fun to be had. I cannot recommend this game. But try it, and if you are still playing after fifteen minutes, then maybe this game is for you?

I first found these paint by number style mosaic puzzles in GAMES Magazine and I fell in love with them. I enjoy the computerized versions, as well, until this game. Like Velvet74 said in their review, board number 3, a "shapes" puzzle, seems riddled with errors (pun intended). The row that says it needs two hexagons/purple won't let me place two of them and the hint function didn't help. I restarted the puzzle and I STILL couldn't place two hexes in that row. Not sure why and rerereading the instructions didn't help. I hate giving up on a puzzle but I wasn't able to figure out this one.
This Match 3 game has very little going for it. The story line is ridiculous, the game boards are small and boring, and there is nothing interesting in the game itself to make playing it worth your time. Or money.
As other reviewers have discussed, this game is very simple, even childish in nature, and might be good FOR a child, except . . . At the end of the level are puzzle mini-games of the type that require you to remove colored sections from the board until the board is clear. The mini-games levels are harder and more complex and require you to memorize the exact order needed to remove the colored tiles. Not for me!
