I forced my way about 2/3 thru this game before I threw in the towel and uninstalled it. It has been a long time since I played a game this boring. From about 30 minutes after the start, I had to force myself to keep playing and I never really cared to reach the end of it. Everyone has different tastes but I do suggest a trial before buying this. Eipix seems to be struggling these days. I think BFG needs new developers as most of the current ones seem to be running out of ideas.
Everything about this game screams "rushed to market". I literally had to click on the opposite side of the screen from where something needed to be done to get the game to respond. There are misspellings, mispronunciations, and constant glitches that have to be worked around in order to complete the game. Elephant needs to do major work on this game.
I used a coupon for this game and still felt ripped off. This was one of the worst BF games I've played in a long while. The graphics were OK but the story was a convoluted mess and I had to drag myself to finish it. By the time it was over, I no longer cared what happened or who did what. It seems poor Amax has completely forgotten how to make good games anymore.
I bought and played this game thru to the end elsewhere. It's a very different but a wonderful game. It will force you to think and there's no hand-holding but you usually can figure out what to do to move ahead. For those fishies who have been around a while, the closest similar game to this would be the old "Drawn" series. The overall FEEL is similar to Drawn, but it's still different from even that. If you are unsure, give it a trial.
This review is based on the purchased game. While this is my favorite developer and series, I was a bit disappointed with this one. First off, the Kardashian-cloned female voices were like fingersnails down the proverbial chalkboard. Second, the game was way too short. I honestly don't understand why BFG keeps pushing developers to make shorter and shorter games. The value for all of these games continues to drop.
I bought this game and immediately regretted it. Within 1.5hrs, I became so bored with it, that I uninstalled iwithout completing it. Domini is losing their way. Nearly every game they've put out lately, just seems to drag along with no real excitement at all. I will definitely trial their games in the future.
I bought this game and immediately regretted it. Cartoon graphics, poor storyline, and zero engagement. One of the most boring games I've played in a long time. Madhead keeps sinking lower and lower in terms of quality. I highly recommend a trial before buying.
Something pushed me to give this a game a try, so I bought it. I was very hesitant because I'm not much of an Eipix fan. I'm about 1/2 through it and I really like it so far. Bravo on the non-standard start to the game also! That was thinking outside of the box. The mood and pace so far has kept my interest. My only gripe is that most of the graphics are very grainy and fuzzy. I suspect this is due to compression after production to reduce the game size. I REALLY wish they would cease doing this. Other than that, I will give a rare Eipix recommendation.
While I like this series, I was very disappointed in this game. The graphics quality was awful and nearly unplayable. I don't know why Eipix continues to make the graphics in their games worse and worse. Is it to make the download size smaller? That's a ridiculous reason. Beyond the graphics, this game was further killed by the cheesy puzzles and often ridiculous, logic-fail, tasks. ( I never knew that I could make a stone object float)
While the story and other things are at least "OK", the logic fails were so ridiculous that I had a hard time playing the game. This game completely insults the intelligence of the player. This is my biggest gripe on BFG these days. Is it that hard for developers to create tasks that you might actually do in the REAL WORLD? You've got a lighter filter and you've got gas. Rather than pour the gas on the filter, you tie a string around it, find a way to open a jerry can of gas and then dip the wick in the jerry can. This is just one of many insane tasks in this game.
