I am a huge fan of Christmas Wonderland games but there are a few things about this one I wasn't so happy with. I do love that the story characters were the same and the colors and music are great. What I didn't care for was going to space, that seemed like just an addition to make the game longer, it would have been nice if the children visited the same places they did in the Halloween version but with Christmas themes. Many of the puzzles were frustrating and not relaxing or enjoyable. Some of the scenes were very cluttered with minuscule objects to find. I also found it sometimes hard to find the hidden camera in several scenes, but hope to find them the next time I play. There were too many hidden word grid puzzles, again just something to lengthen the game. I could not find the bonus chapter, nothing happened when I clicked on it after finishing the main game. I honestly believe the makers of Christmas Wonderland 12 could have done a better job in making a better C.E. game than this one. I can't recommend or not recommend this game because there were some good things and some not so good things to me, but these are just my observations.

I have Cave Quest 1 and loved it, the story line was very good. A different match 3 game where you are going through a cave and match to get to the other end. This 2nd edition is the same, but with a different story line, you travel from place to place to get certain objects that are needed in different areas of the game. Graphics are nice and colors are bright. Music is adventurous, you meet different funny characters on your way. I always hoped there would be another one of this game and am so glad it's finally coming out! There's no heavy demons or darkness to overcome, no darkness or dreadful outcomes. Just a fun and cute adventure. I can't wait to get it!
I recommend this game!

I enjoyed this game, like the story line, like all Redemption games it is meeting people who have died and need your help to return to the past and right wrongs that have taken place. This is what I expect to do when playing the Redemption series. The setting is in a creepy amusement park which I love. There are puzzles, which I also expect in a game like this, some are easy and some difficult. There are instructions on bottom of screen. Some puzzles have more than one puzzle in them and if you are unable to do one you can skip it without losing the other puzzles. I'm not one to bash a game just because I think the puzzles are easy, if I skipped all the puzzles in a game I wouldn't feel right reviewing it for other players. It's still fun to play. The colors are good, creepy blue as cemeteries should be. H.O. scenes are good, some variations in them. Music is on the creepy side, very nice. I look forward to the next game in this Redemption series.
I recommend this game!

This game sounded fun to me but not too far into it I realized I couldn't wait for it to end. Others were not exaggerating when they said a lot of back and forth! You get sent back for things like a feather for a feather duster so you can clear cobwebs to get a screwdriver, or a corkscrew which the makers must love cause there's a need for a corkscrew around every corner it seems! The game gets into "other worldly" dimensions, which I don't care for with characters that change from good to bad and back again. You have a robot helper which isn't so great and takes forever to do small tasks. Colors are o.k., alot of blues. Music is tolerable, science fiction type. There are alot of mini games, easy to fairly challenging, but they do get tiring after so many. There are instructions for those on the bottom of the screen, just hold mouse on bottom of screen and instructions will pop up. You can skip some mini games but not all of them, and some you will wish you could skip. Example: finding alot of matching weird icons. The h.o. scenes are junk pile, and some objects are very hard to see cause they blend in with the the color of the scene or are very small. You will need to find alot of keys to get into doors, chests, tool chests, gates, etc. If you don't mind alot of puzzles and going back and forth, you might like this game. As for me, I have already uninstalled it....for good.
I don't recommend this game.

I was one of the privileged who got to test the game for Eipix and I couldn't wait for the release. It's like traveling back through time and seeing all the old characters from earlier games who need your help. There are the famous crazy locked doors to get through and some I had to slow down and think some to figure out how to open the locks. H.O. scenes are interactive and there are mini games to play. You also find morphing objects, and the style of the game is as the old M.C.F. games were. Good color and graphics. The sound track is incredible and exciting. There are 3 game play modes to choose from, and you can set your own also. If, like me, you love the old M.C.F. games and were disappointed by some of the newer ones, this one gets you back on the right M.C.F. track. Thank you Eipix! Have fun with this one fellow M.C.F. fans!
I recommend this game!

This game has some nice touches, great graphics/colors (in a "cute" type of way), relaxing music, ok story line. There are at least 100 levels but around level 70, there is nothing left to build, so you just keep continuing to play the levels just for playing time. There is written conversation, but after a while it stops, so no big deal there. There is a casual mode at the bottom of the screen, if you choose it you only get 1 star instead of 1-3 for clearing each level. The power ups are good, balloons are like a bomb, arrows will clear horizontal row, and cupcakes will clear horizontal and vertical row. Power ups are located at bottom of screen but you must be very careful when matching at the bottom of screen cause it is very easy to accidentally set them off. After building some of the shops you can click on them to play solitaire for some extra cash. I hope they fix these issues cause I really think this game could be great, and then I would highly recommend it.

This game has cute Halloween icons on the m3 screen, and a cute little Halloween tune. Graphics are fine, a little dull in color. Sadly, that is all there is. Not a m3 where you make a match moving tiles together to match 3 or more, this is a click on a group of 2 or more. There is no goal, no quest, no building, no power ups to buy. Just click on 2 or more till the bar on the left side of screen fills up, then you do it over, and over, and over....... I think even young players would get bored of this sad little game! Was waiting and waiting for Big Fish to release Halloween games, this year is a huge disappointment! It's either this or Halloween Bingo, Halloween Mahjong, Jigsaw puzzles, Mosaics, or Solitaire. I was hoping for Halloween games with some substance to them, like a story line, or the next part of Halloween Trick or Treat. Well, I will replay the fun ones I already have. Happy Haunting.
I don't recommend this game.

This is a fun match 3 game where you're helping to retrieve the "stone of the dead" by fighting off enemies on the match 3 board. Some boards have an item you have to drop to the bottom of the board, or clean spiderwebs, some of which have spiders in them that will chase you and cover the board if you don't make matches next to them. There are also ghosts that do the same. If you make the goal of the level you don't have to clear all the spiders/webs/ghosts away, you will just go to the next level. There are "events" at times where you have to find ghosts, scrolls, or other items in a hidden object game which is very easy, only 7 to find. The colors are bright and fun, the sounds are of the Halloween type, creepy and cute. Music also is a Halloween tune, which I love. You get to decorate your house and can use it or other scenes as desktops, very cute! Some of the house upgrades have items that help you in your battles, some will upgrade the weapons you already have. The boards with spiders or ghosts can be challenging, but I loved that, made the game fun. There are 2 witch helpers you can use, one will clear all vertical rows, the other, all horizontal rows. There is opening dialog and after that, written dialog. For some weird reason, there is one curse word used in the beginning of the game, but some might not think it's a "bad" word. It's just not something I like to see or hear in any game, no matter how "mild" it might be. One of the witches is dressed in a low cut dress. If this is offensive to you or children, you might be somewhat bothered by it. But I do love the game and have replayed it a few times as I was in the "Halloween" mood early this year! It is very similar to another Halloween game, "Spooky Bonus", which I also love. Maybe made by the same maker? I asked if there would be a Spooky Bonus 2, but maker said no. (darn it). I do recommend this fun Halloween game, happy gaming everyone!
I recommend this game!

I love match 3 games and dislike time management games. This is both, but you are trying to fill the order so fast it becomes more of a tm than a m3! I was worried I wouldn't fill the customer's order quick enough and didn't feel the m3 part at all! If you like tm, you will like this game. The colors are nice and bright, graphics are cartoon like, the music is a strumming guitar ditty. The story is you are trying to raise money to pay a school loan. You can make more money by serving fast, that's the m3 part, you are matching ingredients to fill an order, and there are several different costumer types to serve, the picky ones pay the most. You can upgrade recipes to make more money too. There are achievements to be made, making certain amounts of money, upgrading recipes, buying new recipes, winning mini games. The h.o. portion of the game is timed, the faster you find objects the more money you get, which also felt more pressure to rush and find everything before the time ran out. If you are quick in playing tm's, and love that challenge, I recommend this game. But if you want a relaxing match 3, I do not recommend this game.

I have all of the Mystery Trackers games and this was my least favorite. The story line seemed to get lost and was hard to follow. Puzzles were pretty good except the one where you have to choose which symbols to put together to make the center image, this was repeated throughout the game and became tiresome. There were two types of objects you used by holding it up and looking through a lens to find glowing spots which brought forth a puzzle, and the other towards the end of the game to collect ecto plasma from some of the rooms. The characters you save are alright, good voice overs, (except the girl you had to unlock from a chair, sorry, but very irritating voice!) there were some peeking out at you that didn't talk. The music and sound effects were very good, love the sounds of a thunderstorm! Graphics were good, colors in the dark category, but not too dark. You find photo pieces to make several pictures of characters in the game, and musicians to form a band that you can listen to (cute), and morphing objects. Elf the dog is there to help a few times. The game was short, but I was glad it was because it wasn't as fun as the other M.T. games. I felt I needed to have this game because I have all of the other M.T.'s and I didn't want to skip one, however it is unlikely I will play this one again. It seemed like maybe the makers wanted to rush and get this game out. To me, it really is not up to the other games in this series. If I were not collecting all the games in this series, I would not buy it.
I don't recommend this game.
