This is one incredibly sslloowww game! ALOT of dialog to read, and before you can even do that, you have to play a mahjong game that only shows some of the dialog every few tile matches. Add to that, before you can move on, you must connect lines from 1 end to the other, again, with dialog when you make the right connection, so it takes a very long time to read what would be a short conversation between the characters. No good sound effects, music is uninspiring. O.K. ho scenes, find question marks for help to unscramble some words, you can find them without the ? marks though. Because of the partial nudity of the female victims and the way which they are "displayed" in the first case, I would not let children play this game. There is a lot of back and forth without a map, which gets tedious after awhile. I think this game is very boring because it takes ssooo long to do simple tasks that would be done a lot quicker if it were not so drug out. Maybe the makers just couldn't think of anything else to put into the game, I am sorry I wasted my $$ on this one!! Play demo before you dish out any money.

The thing this game REALLY needed was a map! There is SO MUCH running back and forth through the scenes, it became tiring after awhile! Although there were no voice overs, I have to say the music and sound effects were great, very spooky. The game has to do with a family losing their souls and the only sister (a young girl) left to fight for their souls. For this reason I would not recommend this game for children or anyone who does not want to play a game with many demons or occult activities in it. The h.o. scenes were the usual junk piles, sometimes dark and hard to spot things, but you do get an article of some kind that you will need to play the game. In the c.e., there are some wallpapers that would be good desktops at Halloween, and the musical soundtrack. But because of all the demons and the endless back and forth, I will not recommend or play this one again.

This m3 game is different in that instead of swapping tiles or dragging, there is a picture of one of the objects on the board "stuck" to your cursor, you then find 2 more of that object on the board and make the match with your cursor, sometimes easier said than done since some of the objects can be similar in appearance. The story is about rescuing a captured love of one of the sailors, and also as you go through the board, you begin building a village as you collect coins off the board. You can choose from various buildings that are offered at different prices that will aid you in battle, but you must choose wisely because some you need before others. The music and sound effects are awesome, like what you would expect from an old sea ship filled with pirates! This game if fine for everyone, but does get quite challenging. ye mateys have fun with this one!

This is #10 in the N.D. series, one of the older games, which I much more prefer, as it seems like the newer the Nancy game, the darker the stories became. The story is set in an "old west" atmosphere where it seems a phantom horse is showing up on the ranch scaring everyone there. Nan has to uncover certain info from the past in order to discover why this is happening. On the way she encounters several colorful characters and several different locations in which to find clues, including an old ghost town. One of my favorite parts is when sitting around the campfire the ole cowpokes try a hand at singing, quite funny. One of my least favorite parts is collecting the vegetables! Fortunately, the game has a 2nd chance button if you get kicked off the ranch for whatever reason. The sounds and color are very good, make sure you save your game so you can pick up where you left off. You never know what kind of ending the N.D. games will have, they are all different and you are responsible for doing whatever needs to be done to win the game. There is a check off list that tells you what still needs to be accomplished as you go through the game, this comes in very handy. If you are still unsure, call Nans friends, and they will gladly give you a hint or 2 to help you on your way. This game is good for all ages, lots of fun times! My other favorites in the N.D. series are; #3 Message in a Haunted Mansion, #4 Treasure in the Royal Tower, #5 The Final Scene, #13 Last Train to Blue Moon Canyon (extra fun ending!).. Also, if these games are a little too hard, there are 2 Nancy Drew Dossier games which are easier, but just as much fun as the regular series. I hope they make more of those! I highly recommend this and the other N.D. games. Have fun!!

This game has a storyline that makes you want to keep playing the game to find out what happens. In other games in this series a brother and sister team joins up to save the world from some kind of destruction, in this one brother is on a quest to save the past AND his sister. You jump back and forth from present to the past to do the quests because you will need items from the past for the future and vice-versa. The game is long enough with things to do that makes the game more fun to play. There are no voice overs, just some reading of the characters conversations. I recommend you play Treasure Seekers; Follow the Ghosts before this one, as this is the follow up to that one. These games are fun, not dark and gruesome, or too scary. Colors are good, scenery is good, music is not over powering. Will be buying the next one that comes out. Have fun playing!

This one is not a usual match 3, in that you can not move vertically, therefore you must be able to quickly stratagize your next moves. This is not a game you can play in a relaxed mode, since you must make your moves quickly and decide which "friend" to use on the top screen. You must also do alot of reading in the beginning in the help list as the directions while playing are very limited. Fighting the big bosses is quite difficult if, like me ,you are not a fast player. The music is good, fast and upbeat, the colors bold, and the characters funny looking. Reminds me of an old game my son used to have where you fought enemies by taking turns throwing manna spells at them, I cant remember the name, sorry. But if you like the idea of a match 3 game you can take turns making matches with an enemy, and buying power ups, in a game that is fun and a real match 3 game, I highly recommend "Puzzle Hero", it is very enjoyable. I only recommend "Legend of Fae" to those who are quick to learn without much direction, and very fast players, that's not me!

This game is not the usual h.o. game because of the format, which is; here is part of the storyline, here is what you need to acomplish for this phase, and while on the trail to do just that, you run into the h.o. scenes. The characters in this game are fun and quirky, the makers must have had a sense of humor and you can see where they may have relegated some of the characters into what they were by watching an old cozy mystery movie. Sometimes they are quite comical. The game does have its challenging moments, but I dont think it would have been as fun if it were just a "straight forward" typical puzzle game. The story line, like the characters is a little quirky, at times hard to follow, at the end maybe somewhat of a let down, and can leave one wondering if maybe there will be a second round. One hopes so. It is a nice, long game, which is replayable, because you wont be able to remember some of it. So, just like an old, silly mystery movie, go with it and enjoy.

I dont usually like "farming" games, but this one is very cute with its entertaining characters, Tom, and his granpa. Tom has been sent to the farm for the summer to do something other than play on his computer. There he learns about farming, in which you are helping them to make additions to by playing a match 3 board. There are 3 farms to upgrade, and you choose the decor for each one by making money from the match 3 boards. There are timed and relaxed modes to choose from, and the nice thing about it is you can switch between them while playing the board, as some of the levels can be a bit challenging. Another very cute part of the game is on the start screen, before you start playing. If you just dont click start, Tom and his grandpa will converse about how to get you to press start and begin the game, even calling you by name. It is very cute and funny too to read what they have to say about getting you to press start! This game is great for all ages, there are awards to be won, and you can mix and match the farm decor however you want with the options given to you at different prices. There are also a few h.o. scenes to play, but I dont think they helped in any way, so dont know why the Playrix people added it, other than that, a fun game I will be playing and replaying.

If you like a good ghost story, you will like this game. As in other "Midnight Mystery" games, you are a detective who has to solve a crime commited in the past, . In doing so, the souls of the victims are able to finally rest in peace. There are a few h.o. scenes, and some in between puzzles to solve which are not so hard they make you frustrated. There are a few times when "things" jump out at you, catching you off gaurd, which makes the game more fun, and plenty of ghostly activity, along with a great story line. The game has definite replayability, especially if you dont find all the ravens and clovers in the first round. There is also a bonus to work for, which I wont tell you about and ruin your fun . The sound effects are very good and fitting for this game, the music is dramatic and also fitting. Good scenes, good grapics, very nicely made game.

This is a game that requires patience since the characters you create need time to work, marry, and in general, live their lives until sadly, they pass away. You get pretty attached to your little people and may actually get sad when they die! What is nice is that the family goes on, I have several generations of my family, and you get to choose the person you want to "inherit" the house when there is no one left in it. Sound effects are great, as is the relaxing music, which gets stuck in my head. It's just a relax, take your time game, I find rewarding to see them all "elated". Sometimes it helps to just keep the game running while you are doing other things, by the time you come back to your computer, they could have earned enough money to buy food or other things. HINT: leave your game paused if you wont be back for a long time, or they could all die! This is not a high tech, million things to do game, its just slow and easy. I hope they make a sequal to this one to get more upgrades for the house and family, maybe let them travel or something. Anyway I love this game.
