One of the better Nancy Drew stories. I played it via the boxed version and loved it. Right up there with the best. Perhaps a bit short, but nonetheless fun and interesting to play.

This is not your average, car crash, save your child clone... it is a very well done adventure-heavy H0G with plot driven appeal vs. state of the art affects.
You play the main character after waking up in a demolished hospital and need to search for your family following an accident, adventuring out into an almost apocalyptic -like atmosphere. Almost immediately, you'll notice your health is limited due to injuries incurred and will be gained back via finding energy packs in various locations (similar to action games) it will vary throughout the game dependent upon exertion of tasks, etc.
Based on the demo, then, bottom line, though it sounds similar to other games we've played, it is truly unique and very well done, has an excellent plot, good challenge and is just hugely fun to play...
I suggest you at least watch the demo, I did, then bought and I am a happy gamer.

Based on Demo only: I enjoyed this unique game. The music was wonderful... a including a variety of pleasing instrumentals, with the area of the demo ultimately landing you in the jungle and ironically sounding Native American Indianish to me.. yep, it's a game, imaginative ironies allowed. And the game thus far was filled with many little nuances of the real and imagined. The graphics were pleasing and story through the demo, anyway, enjoyable and different.
This game is very heavy on the adventure aspects... you must do a lot of moving about and figuring things out before any 'reward' in action and progress. That always comes with adventure gaming and I happen to like it. Instant gratification gets boring to me eventually and most games now are filled with it.
Have no idea where the negative views are coming from; but thankfully, I ignored them and tried it anyway so it will be a buy with credit for me.

If the graphics and special affects and originality were the guiding factor to determine how 'good' this game was, it would be an outstanding game in individuality, yet, unfortunately, to me the plotline fell way short of a 'wow' game despite the majority of others' views and felt disjointed in its ultimate presentation.
Initially I WAS wowed by Surface, yet as I went further and further into the game, something was lacking to the point I realized it had an appropriate title, "Surface".
I, as a few other players pointed out, got to the point that I just sort of kept waiting for the game to end. It just never pulled together enough along the way to feel commited to feel a true bond to the main character and compell me to want to be the 'hero' in this game. #Even though generally, this plot would be appealing as I am a parent and caring person and saving children would be a wonderful and compassionate storyline#
So, bottom line, IMO, the game has a LOT going for it on the surface, yet it is not truly compelling nor very appealing in it's depth of quality or playability, therefore, the title is sadly a true summation of it's own review and very appropriate.
I would recommend the game, just realize the above qualifying factors in determining it's true value as a forefront, groundbreaking game.

Based on the Demo: Perhaps not great big WOW factor fun, as it is a story about a young woman starting out on her own and trying to 'make it' in the city, yet, FUN! I thoroughly enjoyed the time I spent playing, A Girl in the City. It was unique enough to be challenging and the graphics are good. There are a variety of different and interesting puzzles and in the process, it gives an opportunity to familiarize oneself with the layout of NYC. In addition to all of those qualities, the story is pleasant and thoughtful.
Definitely a FUN game to play.... I'm giving it 5 stars because I enjoyed it so much that I kept playing even though it was very late at night and I was tired. It's offers good, clean fun.... now off to BUY! :)

Turbo Fiesto is the third installment of a series of fun TM (time management games) that will challenge your reflexes (hand and eye coordination) and tickle your funny bone.
It's truly a delightful game that has the potential for addiction. I could only stop playing when my hand was SO tired it literally froze up and I had to massage it out one night, lol.
Check out the first one and work your way up is my suggestion as this one has the strangest 'characters' for customers and thus a bit bizarre #in a good way#. Each one of the series gets a bit wackier than the previous one.... a great way to relieve stress and have some good, clean computer gaming fun.

A very fun game with great graphics. My only problem is my eyes occasionally don't work as fast as my brain so it's a bit frustrating sometimes. My hand and eye are fast though WHEN I can see everything, lol
I've only recently given TM games a try. I'm usually more of a laid back gamer (adventure or adventure/H0G and online MMORPG, which would come close to TM.... but I think I'll play TM only in between other games because the multitasking crunches in TM's are too close to real life, lol.

Some games can be horrid and also be fun. This one is simply horrid in an unsatisfying and not fun kind of way. It combined to be a disproportionate, discombobulated, mismash of ugly, unappealing, displeasing to both the eye and psyche, storyline and graphics. It was disjointed and unappealing in almost every way but a few... need I go on?
Many players rated this game highly. I will simply rate it BLECK!
I just wanted it to end.... thankfully it did.
I don't recommend this game.
