I will be purchasing based only on a segment of demo play. Even the short time I played was enough to allow me to be confident I want it in my games collection as it is exceptionally well done, despite some of the lower marks in the scoring thus far as I'm posting.
The graphics are gorgeous and thoughtful, music/sound appropriate to the setting w/o being intrusive, and the story grabbed me and lured me on.
Love the way it mixes a bit of average H0G with a tried and true adventure type-story which allows the player the initiative to move forward without too much handholding (aka it will be challenging and interesting).
I'd say a VERY nice game for a $6.99 price tag, thanks BFG! Looking forward to playing the entire game. :)
I now own all three of the series of Turbo games and I never would have considered trying, let alone buying a TM in the past, being a 'devout' adventure gamer #with HO thrown in for good measure#.
This game is creative, fun, and challenging without being over kill #literally to the fingers#. It also isn't 'too' ridiculous as a few are. Allows you to build your food eatery with increasingly better equipment and decor as you earn money along the way with your skills.
I've thoroughly enjoyed this series and added a new genre to my game time pleasure.

Based on FULL demo:
I truly enjoyed this game and am purchasing it.
Not too challenging at all (as YET). I finished the demo up to through the breakfast cafe and am still loving it. I am suddenly hungry for fast food tho, lol (and I seldom, if ever actually eat it!), hmmm.
So... here's my input for the demo and now off to buy during Felix sale.

Amazingly well done game; historically accurate settings; believable storyline that runs the gamut from romance to dungeon 'crawling'.
Technically speaking, the various settings incorporated into the gameplay are outstanding to look at and use, albeit, a little different than what we're used to yet very user friendly.
The basic premise of the game storyline is you, as the main character, are sent back in time and find yourself exploring and assisting characters in solving or overcoming various challenges from the past by accessing information via the tasks and involving French royalty ~all elequently described and illustrated in a journal ~ and exploring and collecting usable inventory and equipment to do so.
This is a fantastic game. Thank you BFG and developer ~ what a wonderful treat!!! Tres bien!!

The "I Spy" series are wonderful for children and adults alike.
When my own child was young I purchased these and they were enjoyed for many years.
Now that we are BOTH older and my child an adult, I am finding the series to be both a cheery and helpful way to regain fast memory perception, hand and eye coordination and just to have a little fun between bigger challenges.
It is in a child-like format yet can certainly be appreciated by all ages and is much more challenging than it first appears when you begin to play. The hunting games, for one, utilize unique variation in looking for 'clues' while solving the I SPY mysteries. Would also be fun to play WITH the younger crowd as there are absolutely no questionable or iffy graphics, language, etc. concerns in the game, yet maintains a rather 'spooky' feel in solving the mysteries.
Clear graphics, nice sound track.... and very importantly, A REALLY GOOD PRICE for a series that I purchased for way more $ a number of years ago as boxed game; they were ahead, way ahead, of most games in the genre then and....
....still a timeless and ageless type of game ~ you can't go wrong.

This is the first game I've played that absolutely got BETTER the further I went along and the length of the game was great!
When I first began the game, I was not liking it and by the end, I wanted more!!
The graphics were good, ie. rustic/grainy and in-line with the story, and the music was good. Cutscenes were great and there were many twists and turns.
Hoping there will be another chapter AND a GOOD ending... hint hint to the devs. :]

This game is filled with adventure and fun and a must-try H0G adventure/mystery. You will find lots of reward not just in the pleasure of playing the game itself, but built directly into the design of the game; ie. levels you gain in advancing through the adventure and solving the mystery, collecting the tears, as well as actual awards you gather along the way (coins which you collect and use to purchase items which can assist with gameplay). How cool is that!? It really is not run of the mill at all and you must give it a try if you enjoy immersive H0G...
GREAT GRAPHICS GREAT SOUND
Curse of the Pharaoh: Tears of Sekhmet is a TON of FUN...
(errr, just don't ask me to pronounce "Sekhmet", let alone spell it without looking, haha). :)

Why? For one, unlike many games, it just kept getting BETTER AND BETTER as you moved along in the storyline.
The graphics were in keeping with the old rustic oceanic theme and thus a bit grainy. The cutscenes were very good and SFX excellent.
The storyline was different and interesting and WOW , bottom line... I truly enjoyed this game. I would never have guessed I'd be writing this based on the DEMO, because I wasn't that impressed with the demo and thought the game looked silly... but it isn't, IT'S A REALLY GREAT ADVENTURE! (Long, too).
I DEFINITELY HOPE THERE WILL BE A SEQUEL!!!!!!
I recommend this game!

Based on DEMO... I definitely liked this sci-fi military, back- to-the future, pseudo adventure/H0G storyline based on a remote island. You play a "soldier" with a mission as an engineer to assist in creating top secret alternate energy; obviously with some sub-plots intertwined. There is a running dialogue; ie. you have to read the storyline as you go along, but the SFX is good otherwise.
The end of the demo came suddenly and I said OH &#!! out loud... #don't usually say that, at least not when I'm having fun, haha# . Sooooo, the game obviously was immersive and I was SO absorbed in the game and surprised/disappointed it ended.
It will have to go on my buy list, just pausing a bit to see what other fishies reviews look like AFTER someone actually FINISIHES THE GAME. Would like to know if it is long and whether the entire game is in one setting, etc.

Some people sent in reviews without even finishing the Demo... I finished the demo and the puzzles appear to get more difficult... hoping they continue to as well. There are three difficulty levels to choice from so hints, etc. will not be as easy depending on level chosen. Besides asking for forum help, there is prob. a walkthru somewhere on internet, also, if you get stuck..
So, based on the Demo, this is an old style adventure game yet obviously newly designed based on GPS in vehicle and based on an interesting theory of mind control (which the gov has actually experimented with/used). I am purchasing because it has a diifferent and intriguing story, one I want to follow through and find out more about.
The graphics are hand drawn, colorful, and don't expect voice overs or sophisticated technical appeal, although there are some cool (IMO) cutscenes suggesting the mind control and leading to mini games. Overall, the game's storyline and solving puzzles is it's main appeal.
Though I'm swimming against the stream right now opinion-wise, I would give it a definite thumbs up!. At the very least, give the Demo a try. It is "out of the box"... not the "usual" and that is what gives it a lot of it's charm and appeal.
