Kathleen’s beloved Danny has been arrested under strange circumstances and accused of murder. It’s up to Kathleen to hold her own investigation and find out what really happened.
This is a very poorly produced game: the character's voices are not accompanied by audio, just text which sometimes goes so fast that it's difficult to read it all; things don't always work as they should showing a lack of effort and/or expertise on the part of the developers; there is a jump map but locations are not identified making it virtually useless; and the HOS all have regenerating lists making random clicking useless. It's too bad, because the story is interesting, there are many locations and the game is fairly long. I only recommend this game if you can put up with all it's many shortfalls.
This is a well produced game with very fitting artwork and good VOs. The story is interesting and is well told. Game play is the usual. The HOS are IA with some puzzles in them, and the regular puzzles are good. There are hidden collectibles as well as morphing objects. One thing I really liked was the customizable difficulty level. One can choose to be led directly to the needed action or to be just pointed in the right direction. Or, no hints at all. The informative map, again an option, is a jump map. And most importantly, there aren't any cute critters to help you and it isn't a fairy tale! This is a very enjoyable game - good story, good setting, good game play and innovative difficulty settings.
I recommend this game!

Beyond the Unknown: A Matter of Time Collector's Edition
It’s time to solve the secret of this mysterious island!
I had high hopes for this game based on the demo, but it went downhill from there. The premise of the story is interesting, but it is a muddled mess in the telling. Very poor. The bonus chapter made even less sense. The production is good with good VOs. Game play is OK. Good HINT button. I didn't really enjoy playing the game, and it most certainly isn't worth the CE price. Maybe it's not worth the SE price either.

Sable Maze: Forbidden Garden Collector's Edition
Your parents always told you to stay away from the mysterious maze behind their house…. and you’re about to find out why.
Oh no, not another fairy tale with a cute critter to help you! And this one is really about fairies, although they cackle like an evil witch. The artwork, production (good VOs) and game play are OK, but the story is so lame and overused that I was glad when the demo was over. Spoiled my appetite, and it's dinner time, too.
Real estate agent Angie Dee must get her first home ready for sale. Explore, solve puzzles and clean cobwebs to unravel the house’s mystery in this amusing adventure.
Don't even waste your time on the demo for this dog. This has got to be one of the worst games BFG has offered. There is absolutely nothing good about it.
This game is strictly an amateurish effort. The story is really bad featuring a woman who wants to escape the cold so she goes to Bimini. Then she quickly leaves there to go to Iceland. What? I found navigation difficult using the system cursor. Game play and artwork are poor, too. There really is nothing good about this game.
The expedition continues... Track down the fragments of King Solomon's crown and foil a madman's plot in this exciting follow-up to the bestselling series!
Other reviewers have described this game well, so I'll just add my two cents. This is a well designed and enjoyable game, but it is not worth the CE price. I recommend this game but only as a SE.
This is one of the best designed games that BFG has offered. The developers obviously put in a lot of effort in producing this game. Finally, there is game that is worthy of the CE price, and this is it. The production is top-notch with good artwork and music and great VOs - the characters voices are lip-synced in place, not some dumb cameo. The story is very good and is well told. Game play is outstanding with a variety of puzzles and HOS. There isn't a lot of back-and-forth, and the HINT button points in the right direction. There is an SG, but you don't need it. The extra material in the CE is so far beyond what is usually offered in a CE that the other developers should be embarrassed with their feeble offerings. There is the usual bonus chapter that is usually a bogus chapter for others but is good here. There are so many extras that I would exceed my limits if I described them all. One thing I really liked is that if you miss some collectibles along the way (hand prints), you can just click on the missing hand print and you are taken to the scene where it is. Really a great idea. It's good, too, because getting them all opens up others things to do in the extras. This is an outstanding and fun game that I highly recommend. I usually don't think that CEs are worth the extra cost, but this is a welcome exception.
This is a very well produced game: good artwork, good music and great VOs. The story is very interesting, and there is a good journal. It's a fairly simple game with minimal back-and-forth, although there are lots of different scenes. It's a fairly long game, too. The HOS and puzzles are all good. This is a thoroughly enjoyable game that I highly recommend.

Haunted Manor: Painted Beauties
A peaceful day at the park becomes a journey into the surreal when you become the latest victim of a troubled artist's deal with Death!
This is the most annoying game I have ever played. There is way too much running around. When you find an object, there is one thing you can count one - where you use it is at least 4 -5 clicks away. I got callouses on my clicking finger. There is a jump map, but it doesn't have any info, so it is useless. Well, unless you have a photographic memory or take copious notes. The HINT button does work well, which is the only redeeming feature. It's too bad, too. The game is very good otherwise - well produced, good HOS and puzzles, OK music, etc. The story is interesting and is well told with a journal. It is a long game with lots of places to visit. I recommend the game but only if you don't mind getting a sore clicking finger.
