I consider myself fairly expert at many Match 3 games, so it's a treat to find one with new strategies such as needing to raise a rocket by making matches above it rather than the usual lowering objects by matching below them. Nice fantasy artwork and occasional HO and Mahjong puzzles add up to a really good game!
I recommend this game!

Based on 30 minutes of relaxed play: The thing which raised Imperial island 1 above most other Match 3 was the building part - really clever and interesting structures descending from the sky in several parts. This follow up is just a very basic Match 3 and I lost interest after half an hour.
I don't recommend this game.

I really enjoy nearly all the HdO games which Anuman developed with this studio, so was happy to find this one. A bit clunky, but with a certain charm, they do things their own way, quite different from any other games I've found. Rather lot of chat - you can click through it, but at one stage you need to remember a couple of names and an objective to be allowed to progress. Not a very long game - one to buy as a daily deal or other special offer. Keep it up Mzone, but don't make the objects quite so impossible! Even with a hint some are invisible, you just have to click in the centre of the hint swirls and hope!! Faster hint and skip refill would be good too.
I recommend this game!

Floria
Collect colorful tiles, release the magic power and return life to Floria!
Based on the hour trial In most match 3 making any match on them will clear underlying tiles, but in Floria the match has to be of the same colour as the tiles. The boards also include making adjacent matches to clear obstacles or tiles, clearing paths for keys to move to locks, and walls which you cannot make a match across. The addition of occasional solitaire and hidden object levels makes a really entertaning game, and some of the artwork is really beautiful - love the Disney-like Swamp!
I recommend this game!

Based on the hour demo: Clear tiles, fast smooth play with three timer levels or no timer at all - Hooray! Even with no timer you get a star rating for your time. Good bonus tiles - match 5 for a "bomb" or lower a crystal to the bottom to clear the bottom line. Some levels have gaps into which you can drop unwanted stones but mostly it was easy to place them. Every 5 levels is a minigame - rotate jigsaw pieces or create a path for a ball to drop into a "chomping" tile. With no timer it's a relaxing and fun time passer.

Jewel Match 2 has long been one of my favourites, and Babylonia has taken the format to a new level. Like deddu from California I think the sparkle effect is overdone, and at first I found the need to keep watering and de-pesting the plants annoying - too much like real gardening! But the match 3 gameplay is great. For some reason my favourite kind of on board bonus is the one which takes out a whole row, and when I discovered that if you can get two of them on the same row activating one will make the other take out a vertical column (which I haven't found in any other match 3), it added a really original bit of strategy. Well done Suricate!
I recommend this game!

I expected a game with this title to be set in a reasonably attractive, even if haunted, garden. After 10 minutes poking around a dreary house I found myself in an equally dreary outdoor scene with little colour other than the pink-and-blue haze which seems to pass for ambience in so many games. Not for me!!
I don't recommend this game.

Based on the hour trial: This is just more of the same match 3 which was part of The Far Kingdoms. It was OK as just part of a really pretty and fun fairy tale HO puzzle adventure game - I've replayed Far Kingdoms several times. Such a pity that after creating such clear and detailed backgrounds for Artifacts of Eternity they didn't make full use of them by including some HO. The only minigame I reached in the trial was a pretty easy jigsaw.
I don't recommend this game.

Bought this after playing only half an hour of the trial! Fabulous art, helpful hints which teleport you to where you need to go - (there are three levels of difficulty, I always play Casual), good story, and a variety of HO scenes with a few little puzzles involved. Definitely 5 stars all round.
I recommend this game!

OK it's a bit basic, but there aren't many of this type of match 3 around, and even a simple one gives opportunity for a bit of strategy and thinking a few moves ahead. A very pleasant relaxing game for when you want to keep your brain just ticking over.
