This could have been a great spooky game. The story was that you are investigating why this town went dead. All of the people are gone and you are trying to find out why. There are ghosts who don't know they are ghosts and you are trying to find the secrets this town hides. There are plenty of times that they could have used sudden appearances to scare the life out of you...but they didn't. The graphics are poor, downright dull and lifeless. The music was repetitive and of no quality. When the characters speak their mouths do not move. There are 30 coin bags to find. There is no map and there is a LOT of back and forth. The Strategy Guide is good but there is no use for it as the game is very easy. The HOS were very grainy and also easy. Every time you clicked on a item in the HOS a very annoying ring would sound, so annoying that I muted my computer during the HOS.The mini games had no instructions but once again, very easy. Too bad a good story was ruined.

I am very glad I got this game for free! I did not complete the game, but I did allow a full hour of playing before I stopped. I thought that I had found something that looked different and I did. It proved to not be a good kind of different though. The graphics were very cartoon like, which is okay for me as this game is supposed to be silly and funny, and at times it is. There are HOS and they are clear and enjoyable. There is a map which is useless as it is not interactive. There is a hint button that tells you exactly what to do. You walk through scene after scene and cannot really interact with anything until it is time to do so. You must go through all of the motions as the game dictates. That is the killer for me. There is no challenge because you are just following along doing things in order. So I quit this one and do not recommend this game.
I really enjoyed this game. The music is good. The graphics are beautiful, The voiceovers are well spoken just a lovely game. There are all the bells and whistles you expect from a CE. 3 modes of play and you can change it during the game. 20 cursed (morphing) items 25 achievements A good strategy guide except for one interesting feature. It has different locations for some of the morphing items. So pay attention and do not expect to be able to count on the SG to help you get all of them. An interactive map that showed you where you are as well as a location that a task needed to be done. The HOS are actually fragmented scenes or FROG, and they are beautiful as well. There are not very many of them though. I counted 10. For those of you who like more this might put you off a little. This game had 18 puzzles that I counted, and they were challenging and fun. Some a little too challenging for me so I used the skip button that was provided. The storyline was great and interesting; it pulls you right in. You start the story as the Crooked Man kidnaps your sister and you must follow into his twisted realm to get her back...the rest is for you to find out

I had so much fun playing this game. I was doing all of the tasks in my own time and then I got stuck and could not proceed on a certain task. So I went to the game forum and found out about the first glitch. You cannot do tasks until you are told to do the task. Okay so this meant I had to start all over, but i didn't mind because I was having fun. So I started again and only did tasks as they were requested. Then I got to the end of the game with one last task to do and guess what?? Glitch...I could not do the task even though I had done everything in order and had upgraded as asked, the last task was unavailable. So save yourself some frustration and don't buy this game.

This game was not for me at all. It had most of the bells and whistles for a CE but it just did not have any wow factor. It took me 4 1/2 hours to play the entire game. There were 10 achievements and 50 collectable bugs to find. The music was very repetitive. The graphics were beautiful until you had to talk to a person. The close ups of all of the people were very cartoonish. It was like looking at a person in a comic book. Their mouths never moved as they were speaking and so it was very hard to get into the story. There were 39 mini puzzles and most of them had very vague instructions on what to do. So I would sit there and count the minutes until the skip button filled, then skipped. The hint button told you exactly what to do next. I want a hint not clear instruction. NO MAP....soo lots of back and forth. There were interactive HOS with no turning wheels on objects that needed extra work. They were ALL very confusing and frustrating. You had very few items in your inventory so it was a VERY slow moving game. The ending was a cliffhanger so I am assuming there will be a sequel. To which I will say, "No Thank You"!

I was very excited about playing this game after all of the rave reviews. Boy was I disappointed. Let me give you some info first. The graphics and music were beautiful. There are a lot of very different puzzles and HOS. The game is very long and has a Bonus Game and three Hidden Scenes to play. I can tell a lot of thought and effort went into this game. There are 45 roses to collect and I don't know how many morphing items to collect after you finish the hidden scenes. I didn't bother with the hidden scenes or the bonus because I disliked this game so much. The storyline is gripping until you come to the end...but I won't spoil it for you....and then yikes! The ending is very abrupt and unbelievable. There are singing cut scenes...REALLY??!! The mini puzzles are pretty challenging and some of the instructions are confusing. Some you cannot skip, which I found very frustrating. There are books to read and find shapes in the pictures to be able to continue in the book. Those were okay except there are a lot of shapes to sort through to get the right one. Most of the HOS were very cluttered and hard to see some of the objects. There were many silhouette HOS and the silhouettes were not exact. Examples: 1. You see a keyhole and you are to find keys. 2. You see a helicopter and you are to get flying objects. 3. You see an owl and the owls you find are different. You get the idea. WARNING!! There are morphing items in every HOS and they do not tell you that in the beginning of the game. So since I have never played a game like this I missed some morphing items since I could not go back into the HOS. There are story HOS where you find items as the story is narrated to you. Which was okay but once again it was very difficult to see some of the items. I'm glad that a lot of peeps liked this game because the Devs really put a lot of effort into this game. It just was not for me and for those that are like me...well I don't recommend this game.

This was a great sequel with a few flaws. The music and the artwork were beautiful. The voice-overs were well spoken and not over-acted as so many are. There are 3 modes of play with 9 chapters and an epilogue to complete. There are 60 Dragon Collectables and 22 Achievements. The HOS were interactive and a few were fragmented object scenes. The hint button and strategy guide were helpful, but I didn't really use the guide much. The map was an interactive one and would show you where you had tasks to complete. The game starts with Fiona getting turned to stone and you lose The Sight. You get it back but you occasionally lose it. So you are in the real world and the fay world back and forth. That was fun. There are dragon collectables in both worlds. Some dragons are in the epilogue too, so when you finish the game don't be alarmed that you have not collected them all. Beware if you have not collected all of the dragons when you finish the tasks for the the Troll, the Queen, and the Selkie, you cannot go back and retrace your steps...you are DONE. Also BEWARE...the last scene of the epilogue you are facing the headless woman. DO NOT talk to her before you collect your dragons or you do not get to collect them. Ask me how I know that...soooo I did not collect all of the dragons :( I did not care for some of the mini puzzles at all. Some were very difficult and some were just moving stuff around. A lot of them had instructions that were not clear enough to be able to understand what to do. The game took me about 4 and a half hours and the epilogue was about an hour. Overall it was a lot of fun and I am eagerly awaiting the final chapter.

Not fearful at all. There are five chapters in this game and they are pretty long. The graphics are okay but not up to standard. The music is repetitive and just okay. The storyline is okay as well; a Lords wife dies and he makes a deal with a demon to save her and ends up destroying everyone in his house. You're there to write an article and get sucked into ending the curse. It's pretty predictable. There are a LOT of HOS and they are all grainy and very hard to see. Almost every item you need comes from a HOS...that is how many there are. There are very few mini games and they are all easy. There is no map and there are no collectables. I can't rate the strategy guide because I never needed it...that is rare for me. I was looking forward to playing this after I had so much fun playing "Fear For Sale: Nightmare Cinema" but was very disappointed. I cannot recommend this game

I have never quit a game after 20 minutes of play...until now. The graphics are terrible, the animation is terrible, the music is just okay. It was very clunky to play and absolutely no voice-overs. Very easy puzzles that were time wasters at best. The only good thing I can say about this game is that the HOS are very clear to see, not muddled as some are. But then there are some objects that require extra work and what you have to do to get them makes no sense at all.

This game is fun and relaxing. It gives you a time out from all of the spooky dark games. It has a huge amusement park that you are trying to restore. There are many different HO scenes that are challenging. There are lists of items to find, silhouette items to find, and fragmented items in each scene. You unlock new scenes by searching for paper scraps in each of these HOS. There is also a mini game in each scene that need to be solved; so much variety in each scene! There are challenges to complete for items for your to sell list and to be able to restore a part of the park and as I said before the park is huge. So the game lasts a long time. I have been playing for hours and I am no where near the end. I highly recommend this game for a relaxing good time.
