As previously stated I was not a big fan of this developer, however if they continue to make games like this one, I will change my mind. This was a much improved sequel. Much less hand holding and more challenge here. And the colors!! beautiful.. The stagnant repetative music was also gone, replaced with some lovely pieces. I like anything magical and this had plenty. Good storyline that was front and center. Some variations on the standard HO scenes that were good and different. Lots of interesting puzzles. A moving concentration type one, a jigsaw puzzle that flipped over after three moves and a match three rolling colored balls one, just to name a few. This was a very good length, had lots of cut scenes and special effects and some pretty good voice overs. I liked the amulet that you actually used. (think 9 the dark side) The hint system worked well. I must say that just for me personally, I don't mind the "there's nothing to do here" hints as sometimes that's all the nudge I need. If I know where not to look, I can better focus on areas of interest. Overall I was duly impressed and would for sure buy the next installment. Way to go ..please.. keep games like this one coming.
I recommend this game!

For me.. this was much better than the first one. All the things I didn't care for in the first one were rectified. The dull, dreary and dirty atmosphere had changed to being full of color and really beautifully drawn. And there was interaction with the entities. They give you their abilities which turn out to be quite fun to use. There were some fun mini games.. a couple of slide puzzles, some connect the electric buttons, a place the vases one etc .pretty standard stuff but I lke those so I am not complaining. Overall I liked this game although I must say that after the first one.. I did not have overly high expectations. This is a decent game and a fun way to spend an afternoon or two. Not an epic adventure but a good solid enjoyable game none the less. I thought that both the music and the voice overs were excellent. The ending was a bit disappointing.. the old my evil twin /the butler did it. Perhaps a tad overdone. But really that was only in the last few minutes. I played the SE version of both and would not hesitate to purchase the next one in this series. 3.5 outa five

This game was all about fun. It certainly didn't take itself too seriously. There was a vampire element but there was none of the more grusome stuff associated with that. it was all pretty lighthearted. Bright with tons of color, this game offered mega HO scenes, lots of interaction with the characters, a pretty good storyline and very easy puzzles. No stress or racking your brain to solve this mystery. It is fun, bright and has some cheesy italian music that I liked. I bought this on a three dollar sale and enjoyed it even if it was a tad short. If you are looking for a not too difficult game that's bright and fun then Blood and Ruby is a good choice.
I recommend this game!

Well no one can accuse this game of being run of the mill. This was probably the oddest game storyline with the weirdest music I have ever encountered . Space plasma with intelligence?? Okay. The game opens to you meeting a strange blind man with a trident on his face, who claims to be your father but really is not. There has been an explosion during an experiment which has left people seemingly dead in pods in a secret lab cave. Everyone except for this blind guy, your actual father and some keeper guy with a female voice who is encased in some kind of contraption. No really I'm not making this up!! You will have to make your way through this town of statues with bat wngs to find your mother?? lol I know. So... having said all that, there were some good light up the picture puzzles and a new twist.. HO's within HO's. they were fun. The graphics were beautiful. You get to fly hand gliders and ride in cable cars. And in case you didn't follow the story these people were telling you.. I can't see why that would be a problem..lol you could replay all the cut scenes in your diary. (came in quite handy trust me). So even though I was sometimes thinking huh?? what?? I found this game to be sort of refreshingly different and fun to play even if it was hard to follow and quite strange.
I recommend this game!

The cut scenes in this game are amazing and the storyline is strong throughout. It has a ship that appears where you place the various dolls that you find. As you place each one, a video shows you another piece of the story. The graphics are really detailed and full of color. Just a word of warning.. if you are tired of having to unlocking things, don't play this game. Absolutely everything is locked. There are more than a dozen keys to find, sun locks, seahorse locks.. you get the picture. This game also had no backtracking. Almost everything was used up in each chapter. I kind of like backtracking but I must say that this game was so intense that I didn't even miss it. A good long adventure with great cut scenes, amazing graphics, strong story and lots of inventory objects and HO scenes. I really liked the rolling clouds and lightening. This game developer has done it again. Stunning game. Well done.
I recommend this game!

This was a very good addition to the series. Another adventure with the characters we know and love. What always impressed me in these games was the length and this one is no exception. Lots of rooms, inventory objects and HO scenes. A good storyline throughout and probobly the best voice acting you'll hear. A lot of work went into this and it shows. Really enjoyed it. Loved the creepy family, the exploding helicopters and some very intracate puzzles. Good job

This series has previously offered up two excellent games and this third one is just as good IMO. The storyline is a bit more straightforward.. you are looking to rescue a reporter even though at times she makes it clear she does not want to be rescued. Her cameraman also seems to need your help. Like most elephant games, this one is a very good length with lots of inventory objects and many HO scenes.. not one of which is ever repeated. The graphics are amazingly detailed, full of color and realistic. It has a really good assortment of mini games... creating constellations with stars, string puzzles and a kind of cute bee in a maze one, among others. Also the side search for fifty owls. Fun and entertaining..in fact I think this series is as good as any out there. Now for my one and only complaint.. the incessant thunder. Make it stop!! You could not even escape it indoors. Turning down the environment effects did not help much either. Okay so I like the ran effect but too much of anything is too much and I found the thunder grating on my nerves. Other than that I loved this game. Would buy the next one in a heartbeat. Oh and I loved the addition of elf.. the little dog companion. Nice touch.

Not being a huge ERS fan.. I decided to give this one a chance anyway. I have not played other Azada games so it was all new to me. And I was pleasantly surprised. First by the music, which was really lovely. hmm already unusual for ERS. The locations were beautiful, I think I only saw one HO scene and the storyline was quite engaging. I'm liking ERS better already. There are three worlds that you must explore looking for keys. You begin at a boat dock then move to a magical kingdom and then to a hellish fiery one. The puzzles were numerous and fun and the game was heavy to adventure style. I could have used a little more excitement when I completed the quest but no matter. This one was very entertaining, well drawn and pretty with some good music and numerous puzzles. I played the SE version and it was time well spent.

Really enjoyed this one. Just when I was wondering how a game was going to stand out from all of the other great ones that have come along lately, this little gem shows up. I only played the SE but it was wonderful. Good storyline, great hint system, lots of color and beautifully drawn. I really liked the scraps of paper that would come to life and animate clues. very inventive. Lots of atmosphere. Always like the rain effect and thunder. Really good length with a ton of inventory objects and many many HO scenes. The inclusion of a real child brought a sense of authenticity to the story. Oh and also liked the ghost (well done) and the little imp character. This one worth the time and money investment.. especially the SE version!! BFG's and several developers have put out some really good offerings lately. Keep em coming.

This was a pretty good game. The graphics were amazing. I just sat a few times and watched the waves crash ashore as they were that realistic. This one had a few good puzzles also. I liked the balls dropping into the bottles one. quite original. I played the SE version and it was a decent length. Overall this one had a decent although common storyline, (save your brother and release the spirits) some good puzzles and some awesome graphics. I enjoyed it.
