The story line wasn't particularly unique, but the execution was very good with outstanding graphics and good music. There was quite a lot to do and a good variety of things from HOS to puzzles. Very few of the puzzles aggravated me, so puzzle fans might find them on the easy side, but non-puzzle fans will appreciate them. Overall, I liked this one and had a hard time walking away to do other things.
After all, what red-blooded woman doesn't have just a bit of a soft spot for a good looking, bad boy, sort-of hero? Actually, the story was great, the art work was great, good balance of puzzles and HOS. The overall quality of the game is very much what I have come to expect from Elephant Games, which is to say, excellent. It makes me wish that the publisher information could be incorporated into game descriptions on the sales pages. There are some publishers that when you see their logo come up, you just know that a really good game will follow!
The story grabbed my attention immediately and stayed on track throughout. There was a decent mix of HOS and puzzles, none overly challenging, but largely pleasant diversions. I got through this one on the fast side, but mainly because I was enjoying the story and hard trouble putting it aside until I found out what was next.
Graphics and music were good, not outstanding, but adequate for the story, which really was the focus.
The things I didn't like about this game are the very things that will make many people like it a lot. It seemed like there was a puzzle, mini-game or HOS at every corner. Those who complain that games don't give them enough to do will love this one. I marked it down just a bit because for me, it was a little too busy. The producers clearly addressed those who get bored with plain old hidden object scenes. There were many variations of them in this game. Lots and lots of different things to do. I felt that story development was a bit slow and disjointed, which is where it fell down a little for me, but it all came together in the end.
This is from Blue Tea Games and lives up to, and maybe exceeds their reputation for creating visually stunning graphical stories. Pure eye candy! Add to that a truly interesting story and you have a winner here.
I confess, I was on the fence between four stars and five on this one, if it were possible to mark it 4 1/2, I would have. Where, you might ask, did this masterpiece fall down? I found the set, beautiful at every turn, to be quite large and complicated. Sometimes I knew where I was and knew where I wanted to go but couldn't remember how to get there. I do feel that the maps were not well done and did not help clarify my route. In addition, the help button gave no directional assistance. All in all, very small flaws in an otherwise superb game!
The story in this one was quite compelling (I shall anxiously await the sequel) and there was lots to do. Many, many minigames, HOS, and other, non-critical, objects to find. I am still missing a card, so watch closely! There were many beautifully done scenes to explore as the story developed.
Most HOS games take you all the way through a scene or location then move to the next. This one will challenge your memory by not completing some of those earlier scenes until near the end of the game.
Some of puzzles exceeded my patience a bit, the HO scenes were well done and the story was good. I really enjoyed this one.
I love this series and keep it on my "watch for" list. This new one did not disappoint, with yet another really solid story. Mechanically, I liked the game too. It provided a good mix of HO scenes, both find by name and match by silhouette, and puzzles. The game really was not short, but I enjoyed it so much that it seemed short!
This was supposed to be the happiest day of your life. But instead of walking down the aisle, you're in another dimension, battling a mad inventor to save your family!
This was a lot about the story and the characters were both interesting and likable. The story was interesting and worked its way to a good conclusion. Most of the puzzles were not as annoying as usual and the HO scenes were comfortably challenging. I really enjoyed this and was a little sorry to see it end. Whispered Secrets is going on my watch list for any future games.
I recommend this game!

I love Greek history and mythology and really, really wanted to like this game. The scenery was nice and I did like that, but my gosh this thing moves SO slow. I am old and slow, and was so bored after two hours that I just couldn't go forward.
