The residents of Bitterford, Maine have fallen prey to a terrible curse. It’s up to you to unravel the series of mysterious events that led to the town’s downfall and uncover the evil that was responsible.
Yeesh! I was so bored and quit and uninstalled it mid-game! I am a Lea Thompson fan, but this game was WAY beyond boring! Believe the reviews on this one.
Al aspects of this game were more than satisfactory. It was long enough that I felt I got my money's worth but not so long that I wished it would finally end. The graphics, sound and puzzles were all very good but it was the story line that really grabbed me. It was interesting every step of the way and I continually wanted to see what would happen next. It fun from beginning to end!
Well, I got this one on a daily special and really didn't expect much but something to pass a few hours with. I was delightfully surprised! It was fun and I got hooked on the story. Will go back and get the other two in the series!
...and this was no exception! The graphics and sound were great but it's the story that makes the game and this one was most enjoyable. The puzzles were not horribly challenging but I like that feature in a puzzle. They made me think but didn't make me frustrated. If I were going to criticize this one at all, it could have been longer but I would probably say the same thing if it had been twice the length. If you are a Dana Knightstone fan, you can't miss this one. If not, well it may be time to consider it!
I liked the story line, but progress was SO slow that I gave up far, far before the end. Every screen was filled with the pop up circles with objects to match. At least one circle on each set required the completion of one or two more before completing it. It's not a bad game, but just too slow and tedious for me.
This is a game that I enjoyed completely. The graphics are stunning, the story an interesting continuation of the previous House of 1000 Doors storyline but is such that when there are more, it won't be a problem to play them in any order. I did not have to look for a walkthrough for this game, which could mean that some people won't find it challenging enough, but I like this relaxed level of play.
A mysterious fortune teller has foreseen her demise at midnight this very day. Can you find the soul who seeks to kill Madame Fate? You be the detective.
Instructions are nil, no walkthough, the puzzles made no sense to me at all and many of the hidden objects were incredibly tiny. I like the challenge of a good puzzle if I have a clue what it is, but these gave no hint. For me, this game was an exercise in frustration and I uninstalled it after about two hours and will never look at it again.
I really enjoyed this game. There was plenty to do, the HOS's were not too difficult and neither were the puzzles. I liked the story and the fun of opening one interesting location after another. I won't tell you that I found this game terribly challenging, I didn't, but it was pleasant and relaxing. I really enjoyed it. It was also a good size so I feel it gave me a good value for my money.
I recommend this game!

Righteous Kill 2
Explore murder scenes and look for clues to unravel the mystery behind the Poet Killer before he can strike again!
This is the first negative review I have written and I truly hope I don't have occasion to ever have to write another.
I repetitiveness nearly drove me crazy. The writers set up certain scenes and we visited each over and over and over. I wanted to just quit and delete it, but I really had to find out for sure whether this game ever ended or whether I was caught in an endless loop. If you are somewhere in the middle, hang in there if you can handle the boredom, it will finally end. The mini-games also repeated, weren't very challenging and pretty much bored my socks off.
If there is a bright spot here, it is that the graphics were pretty good. The sound was boring and repetitive. This is apparently modeled after a TV show. After playing this game, I would not consider watching the show. Detectives this slow would surely be back on the beat.
If you like playing Jewel Boards as much as I do, this is the game for you. There are no pesky puzzles, no hidden objects, just a long quest through the history of the Pack family and every sort of Jewel Board imaginable, ranging from simple, through very hard. The first time through, it seemed a little long, the second time, and I made it more difficult by refusing the additional time offered, it just ended too soon!
Going to give it a rest now and play a few other games then come back and tackle the expert mode.
