This was a good game with a different story line than most. I enjoyed it throughout and think it had the best background music in anything I played for a long time, possibly ever. The ONLY reason I rated it at only four stars is that it was quite short. I just wasn't ready for it to be over when it was over.
I recommend this game!

I liked this game right up to the end, where it fell apart. The graphics were good, the story was interesting, the music not great but acceptable. At the end, however, I felt a little like I had been dropped off a cliff. It came suddenly and before all the questions I had were answered. To the authors, I would say, "Good work, but please do a little better on the wrap up at the conclusion."

This one was different in several ways. First, the central character was a very attractive young man, most seem to be women. I took one look at him and knew women must have done a lot of the art work. End credits proved me right! The artwork through out was well above average.
The game play was also different with the double HO scenes. They added a definite level of interest and challenge. The story was also unique and interesting. As you may have surmised by now, I liked this game a lot!

I love the TV series and maybe that was a strike against the game. I quickly tired of running in circles looking for stupid batteries when Castle would really have just gone to the nearest store and bought a pack. This nonsense, and the endless parade of puzzles, I HATE puzzles, was like having the story itself handcuffed. I gave this one up in a half an hour and just dumped it. Back to the TV for more Castle!
I don't recommend this game.

I loved the original Sparkle. Some of the challenges took days to get through and were often frustrating, but the level of accomplishment felt upon defeating them was awesome. The new Sparkle 2 is similar in many ways to it's predecessor but is easy. I completed the whole game in one afternoon. In the original Sparkle, it would sometimes take upwards of ten tries to get through one called "Tails Bitten", it was a toughie. There is a new one in Sparkle 2 with a very similar layout. I got it first try.
I like this game okay, but when I saw the name and set up, I really expected a lot more challenge. All in all, I prefer the original, but that is the masochistic streak in me speaking. Level of challenge is very much an individual choice and if you generally liked Sparkle but found it too hard, Sparkle 2 is your answer.
I recommend this game!

It was a daily deal or some bargain, so I took it. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. This game has a good story, told in a slightly different format than most, and is a nice little feel-good game. It wasn't terribly challenging, even the puzzles were mostly not too aggravating (not a puzzle person) and the HOS'es were pretty easy, but it was an enjoyable way to spend a few hours.
Want something fairly easy and relaxing? You might enjoy this one too.

This game was a problem from the beginning. I don't know how old it is, but it did install and work for a while on Windows 8. I prefer games to be in a window so I can play and still keep a eye on everything else. This game annoyed me right off by having only full screen mode. I did play several levels with only a couple of hangs the first day. The second day I tried it, it start hanging every time a powerup tried to drop. About the third time it hung, I just uninstalled it. The newer Atlantis games are fine, but I am guessing this is the original and if you are still running on XP, it might work for you, I don't know. I found it pretty much not usable.
I don't recommend this game.

House of 1000 Doors: Serpent Flame Collector's Edition
Return to the House of 1,000 Doors to save mankind from annihilation!
The House of 1000 Doors series is one of my favorites and this one was outstanding! I tend to judge these games more by the story than anything else and this story was very enlightening, then was enhanced with lots of eye candy. I hope the writers are working on more!
I recommend this game!

Azada: Elementa
Azada's saga continues when its precious elements are stolen!
My first encounter with Azada was Azada In Libro. I liked it so much that I went back and bought the earlier Azada's but really didn't like the all puzzle format and never made it through either of them.
Azada Elementa is along the lines of In Libro, but even better. It has a good mix of HOS and Puzzles and a great storyline. I enjoyed this one very much and will be watching for future Azada stories!
